God does not change

Scripture says God does NOT Change. Therefore, do you know when God does something twice around, He does it differently? For example, during the wilderness with Moses and God's people, the first time the people asked for water, God told Moses to strike the rock. The second time, God told Moses to speak to the rock. But Moses out of anger disobeyed and struck the rock.

Even though Moses disobeyed and struck the rock, WATER STILL CAME OUT! Please see the wisdom here. God, out of Grace, still provided water even though Moses disobeyed. What is the lesson here? Just because you are being fed, given water and shelter, do not think you are in complete obedience. It is God's Grace. This is why we must still ask God to search our hearts to root out any harden parts.

Exodus 17:6-7 (AMP) Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at [Mount] Horeb; and you shall STRIKE the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. 7He called the place Massah [proof ] and Meribah [contention] because of the faultfinding of the Israelites and because they tempted and tried the patience of the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us or not?

Numbers 20:8 (AMP) Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and TELL the rock before their eyes to give forth its water, and you shall bring forth to them water out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.

Second example, when Moses first went up the mountain to receive the 10 commandments, God gave Moses two tablets written with His finger. After Moses broke them in anger against the people, the second time around, God made Moses chisel them out.

Exodus 31:18 (AMP) And He gave to Moses, when He had ceased communing with him on Mount Sinai, the two tables of the Testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Exodus 34:1,4 THE LORD said to Moses, Cut two tables of stone like the first, and I will write upon these tables the words that were on the first tables, which you broke.
4So Moses cut two tables of stone like the first, and he rose up early in the morning and went up on Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, and took [a]in his hand two tables of stone.

Isaiah 43:19 (AMP) Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Yes, because God does not change, He will do it differently twice around. Be wise and have an open heart brethren. You must spend the time with Him to be led by Him so when He leads you, you are led to Truth. Spend the time with Him so you know His ways for His ways are higher. What does that mean? You must dig below the surface of scripture and search deeper. Go deeper with Him.

Be wise brethren, He is the small voice. He comes in a direction in which MOST ARE NOT looking. He does things in which MOST ARE NOT EXPECTING. Be teachable and correctable. Be still and learn more than eager to teach. At His appointed time, He will release you for His Work.
