The Battle is the Lord's

Proverbs 21:31 (AMP) The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance and victory are of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 20:1 WHEN YOU go forth to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.

1 Samuel 17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands.

In today's time, we all hear people telling each other that the battle is the Lord's. This is very true. The battle is the Lord's. But in the OT, the saints of God still had to go battle and fight. The Lord would give the victory but His people had to step out and perform. In many times, it was a time to fight and where some had to die.

Yes, the battle is the Lord's and He shall give you the victory but you will pay a price if you obey and fight. When the OT saints fought, people died. Their price was their lives. Fathers, sons, brothers, and friends died in battle. What price are you willing to pay? We all say we will die for the Lord but we can't even give up our entertainment. We can't even give up our TVs. We can't give up our video games. We can't give up a season of sports? We can't give up our alcohol. We can't give up our addictions. We can't give up our gambling? We can't even give 10% to the Lord? We can't even give up the things of the world but yet we are professing that we can DIE FOR THE LORD?

In the NT, what is to fight or battle? Do we need to go and physically fight our enemies? In the NT, Paul said the fight is not carnal but spiritual. Therefore, how are we to procure the victory that is already won? Our fight is done on our knees and in prayer. How are many of us really fighting the way the Lord requires? The Kingdom of God is taken by VIOLENCE and Zeal through prayer and authority! Most of us just complain and look for the easy way out. We want someone else to do the praying for us. We want someone else to do the battle for us. Most of us rather watch TV and vegetate rather than offer up the sacrifice we need on His altar. Where is our sacrifice? Where is the sacrifice of ourselves for your family, friends, and even our enemies!!

Matthew 11:12 (AMP) And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize--a [a]share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].

Where is the fragrance of our sacrifice?!! Where is the death of our flesh? Are we crucified with Christ dead to ourselves?

Psalm 116:15(AMP) Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones).

How many of us are lifting our family, brethren, and family in prayer? How many of us are really loving them by spending the TIME required to pray for them? Do you not know your fervent persistent prayers may be the determining point of their salvation? Just as Moses when his hands were held up, the enemy were driven back! But when his hands became tired and lowered, the enemy grew strong. Then Aaron and Hur came to help lift Moses arms/hands up to achieve final victory as promised by the Lord.  Lift up your loved ones in fervent prayers for the Lord is your Banner!

Exodus 17:8-15 (AMP)Then came Amalek [descendants of Esau] and fought with Israel at Rephidim.9And Moses said to Joshua, Choose us out men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.10So Joshua did as Moses said and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the hilltop.11 When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed.12But Moses' hands were heavy and grew weary. So [the other men] took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side and one on the other side; so his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.13And Joshua mowed down and disabled Amalek and his people with the sword.14And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in the book and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens.15And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The Lord is my Banner;

We are called to pray for one another! Where is the hunger to pray? Where is the hunger to do the Father's will and for the souls of His children? Where is the hunger to forsake the pleasures of the world and to dig into the fox holes of this spiritual war and fight until the Lord's return? Where is the hunger to die to oneself? Where is the hunger to see your loved ones forgiven and healed of their diseases? Where is the hunger to pay the price to follow HIM? Let us buy refined gold from HIM desiring to be tested in the fire.

Revelation 3:18-21 (AMP) Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. 20Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. 21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

Jesus has given us the authority and keys to the Kingdom of heaven! Let us walk in the divine calling as the children of the Most High. Rise up children of the MOST HIGH, rise up, repent and consecrate yourselves unto HIM and let His Glory rise among you. Make the choice to FULLY Surrender to HIM forsaking the love of the world.  He is coming! Return to HIM for many of you have no idea you have fallen so far away as evident in your lives. Return to your First LOVE.

Looking for True Intercessors

We humans have a natural tendency to complain about everything especially of other people. We seem to never have the patience or stamina to see things through. However, time is required for much of God's plan to unfold. He describes much of our lives and many other things like a tree that must bear fruit. If we were to plant a tree, we would need to first plant a seed, water and tend to it and then wait many years until it bears nutritious fruits. If we had a farm full of fruit trees and if many difficulties aroused out of growing them, would we not utilize all of our energy and resources to make sure they come to maturity? If the trees gave us a difficult time because they were not growing properly, would we abandon them? After so many years of investing our time and love, would we abandoned them because they got on our nerves and we knew they were not growing properly? If the trees were our only source of food, we would most definitely not abandon them.

Many Christians do not read enough of the bible to understand God's ways and His plan. It is sad that many Christians know more about their sports team, hobbies, career, movie stars, singing stars, Oscars, soaps, and whatever trend the world has to offer more than they do of their God. If we reject the knowledge of God, we are not only going to be destroyed, He said He will reject us and not remember our children. Is that not a wake up call?

Hosea 4:6(AMP) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children."

When Moses returned to Egypt, God's people were at first very excited bowing down and worshiping God for the great news. As many people would think even today, when a word comes, we think that prophecy of breakthrough will come the next hour, week, or month. Many do not ponder on the reality it can take perhaps years and through hardship. Our God is not here to let us win the lottery. If you are His child and in His Will, you will never win the lottery. Our God is here to purge you through His Fire so you may find Life.

When Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and told him to "Let My people go" do you think the enemy would just let them go without a fight? When deliverance was at the door, the lives of God's people became harder! Nothing comes for free. Do you think the devil is going to let you have your healing, financial breakthrough, spiritual breakthrough, or other breakthroughs without a fight? Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters to tell God's people to make bricks finding their own straws without compromising their quotas.

God was not only going to deliver His people but He was going to show the world and Pharaoh who was the King of Kings and who had the real power. But in order for God to show His Power and Glory, we must sacrifice ourselves in all of our situations so God's Will and Plan are unfolded. It was God who made Pharaoh's heart to harden even more against His own people. As the lives of God's people immediately became difficult, they complained not only to Pharaoh but to Moses and Aaron as well. In fact, they were very angry at Moses.

Exodus 5:20-21 "And the foremen met Moses and Aaron, who were standing in the way as they came forth from Pharaoh.21 And the foremen said to them, The Lord look upon you and judge, because you have made us a rotten stench to be detested by Pharaoh and his servants and have put a sword in their hand to slay us."

Even after delivering God's people out of Egypt and witnessing the Red Sea part, God's people continued to complain and rebel. When Moses had gone up the mountain for 40 days and nights, the people's faith became weak and they turned to their hand made golden calf to lead them out. God was ready to destroy them and start again with Moses. But yet Moses interceded on their behalf and with God's heart Moses pleaded to the Lord for mercy and he even said to blot his name out if God would not forgive them.

Moses experienced 40 years in the desert with a stiffed neck people but they were God's people. They complained, grumbled, murmured, and even tried to overthrow Moses' authority to rule by themselves. Yes, Moses had his moments of anger but Moses still possessed God's heart to always fall on his face and intercede on their behalf. He did not run or abandon them. He was not only willing to die for them but even lose his soul on their behalf.

Today, many Christians face difficult situations with their families, spouses, friends, co-workers, and especially other brothers and sisters in the church. God has shown me that people are very predictable. We all have the same sin nature of greed, lust, gossiping, coveting, and so on and so on and so throughout history, we seem to make the same mistake over and over again. The bible was written not only to point to Jesus Christ but to warn us of ourselves as Paul described.

If we have been given a higher revelation or if our eyes are open to see the sin of others when they complain, mummer, grumble, and gossip are we to complain about them to other people and ourselves? If we complain about others because their sins irritate us, are we any better? If we think someone is deceived and we call them "stupid" are we the more wiser for calling them "stupid"? If we call anyone "stupid" because we think they are the ones deceived then it is us who is going to be in for a big surprise. If we run or abandon them because we think they are hopeless, then are we any better? Are we better than them for leaving them? We must always be led by the Spirit and not of our flesh in any circumstance.

Matthew 5:22 (AMP) "But I say to you that everyone who continues to be [a]angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be [b]liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be [c]liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You [d]cursed fool! [You empty-headed idiot!] shall be [e]liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire."

When God's people spoke harshly against Moses, how did Moses react? When Pharaoh called for God's people to find their own straws, out of a difficult situation and out of anger, God's people told Moses the following in verse 21-22.

Exodus 5:21-22 "And the foremen said to them, The Lord look upon you and judge, because you have made us a rotten stench to be detested by Pharaoh and his servants and have put a sword in their hand to slay us."

How did Moses react?

Exodus 5:22-23 "Then Moses turned again to the Lord and said, O Lord, why have You dealt evil to this people? Why did You ever send me? 23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people, neither have You delivered Your people at all."

Moses did not react in kind against his fellow brethren. Although they spoke harshly to Moses, he interceded and took his issues and complaints directly to God.

When God's people had made the golden calf, Moses went back up to the mountain and interceded for God's people for another 40 days and nights. When God's people complained and irritated Moses, he fell prostate on his face and interceded on their behalf.

What do most Christians do today? Do we have the heart of Jesus to intercede on those who do not know better? When they kicked Jesus, when they spat on Him, when they whipped Him, when mocked Him, and as they lifted Him on that cross, did Jesus complain about His enemies to the other people? Jesus interceded even on behalf of His enemies and asked the Father to forgive them because they did not know what they were doing!!

Exodus 9:18-29 "Then I fell down before the Lord as before, for forty days and forty nights; I neither ate food nor drank water, because of all the sin you had committed in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure which the Lord held against you, enough to destroy you. But the Lord listened to me that time also.20And the Lord was very angry with Aaron, angry enough to have destroyed him, and I prayed for Aaron also at the same time. 21And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust; and I cast the dust of it into the brook that came down out of the mountain.22At Taberah also and at Massah and at Kibroth-hattaavah you provoked the Lord to wrath.23Likewise when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you, then you rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God, and you did not believe Him or trust and rely on Him or obey His voice. 24You have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you. 25 So I fell down and lay prostrate before the Lord forty days and nights because the Lord had said He would destroy you.26And I prayed to the Lord, O Lord God, do not destroy Your people and Your heritage, whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 27 Remember [earnestly] Your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not at the stubbornness of this people or at their wickedness or at their sin, 28Lest the land from which You brought us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.  29Yet they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your outstretched arm."

Luke 23:34 "And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His garments and distributed them by casting lots for them."

If you have been given the revelation to know weaker Christians or your non believing families to complain, gossip, grumble, and mummer, then the revelation has been given to you so that you may intercede on their behalf. It has not been given so you may find another church or another family or another spouse. You cannot leave until the Lord gives you permission to leave. Jesus died for us sinners while we were sinners. Many say they are willing to die for the Lord yet they seem to always be running away from death.

If you had complained of others and ran, REPENT and FORGIVE THEM if they had hurt you and return to the front lines of the war for the souls of His people. Set the path straight for He is returning for His Bride!

If you do NOT Forgive people or your brethren, then your prayers will NOT be answered! Ask the Lord to search your hearts for any unforgiveness.

Mark 11:22 "And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. 23Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].   25And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and [g]let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings."

We are all called to stay in the FIRE and intercede on behalf of our brethren and for those who do not know what they are doing. Are we really willing to walk up to Calvery with our own crosses willing to die of ourselves to intercede on behalf of our brethren and even our enemies?

It is FINISHED!

Yes, the Lord said it is FINISHED!! Many people tell you that you do not have to do a thing but believe! Well, it is Finished on God's part and now you must go do your part and BELIEVE. When you come to BELIEVE unto the Lord, then you must now go home and into your lives to search out the idols and break down and destroy your pillars of Baal and Ashteroth! Ask God to search out your hearts and destroy the idols that are in your hearts and crucify your flesh! You are called to erect a pillar of God's house (temple) from your own bodies as a living sacrifice. A pillar of His consuming FIRE!

2 Corinthians 6:16 (AMP) What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

When someone goes to Jesus Christ to be saved whether called to the altar or in your homes, which soil is the Word of Life falling on in your lives? What kind of soil are you? Many can profess the words of salvation but when they go back home, it is back to their own thrones called the couch and flipping their own worldly bibles called the remote control that continues to teach you the things of the world and they shout for strangers running with a ball who do not care for a thing in the world for you! They just want your money. But yet so many complain that churches want your money? What about the professional sports organizations? What about your cable company? What about the corporations and their commercials? What about the beer and cigarette companies that want your money. They want to get you addicted and suck the life out of you!  They ALL want your money! They want to make you a slave to their products addicted unto death! And people complain about preachers or churches wanting your money? I don't hear Christians complaining about the worldly corporations and sports organizations that continue to defile the Lord's Day that want your money!

Jesus does not need your money and He has come to give you LIFE! Jesus does not need your money but He will use the money you have to test your obedience whether you will tithe properly or not. It is used to test your hearts. Can you not trust HIM? But yet, many want to serve two masters? Many say they live for the Lord but yet they want to continue to caress their idols and caress their fear?

Am I saying get rid of your TVs? TV in itself is not bad thing.  But perhaps for some this is required if you can't stop watching secular TV for hours and hours like a zombie or a slave. Is this the first thing you do when you wake up? Is this the first thing you do when you get home? Is this the last thing you do before you to bed?

2 Corinthians 6:14 (AMP) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make MISMATED alliances with them or come under A DIFFERENT YOKE with them, INCONSISTENT with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?

James 4:4(AMP) You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.

Jesus came to fulfill the law. He did not come to do away with it. Many people use Grace to swim in the dung of the world. God did not just all of suddenly add Grace through Jesus Christ. Grace had always been there even from the beginning and throughout history. If it was not for Grace, Adam and Eve would have not continued. Grace has been enormously emphasized in the person of Jesus Christ and Grace is part of the overall nature and plan of God from the beginning. The ceremonial laws have been done away. The LAW as in the TEN Commandments and His other moral instructions/commands are still in effect! Do not end up being declared a evil doer and a worker of iniquity!

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.

Psalm 50:5 Gather together to Me My saints [those who have found grace in My sight], those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.

He did not come to do away the Law or the Prophets. He came to emphasize and be Grace by fulfilling the Law.

Matthew 5:17(AMP) Do not think that I have come to do away with or [a]undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfill them.

Romans 3:31 (AMP) Do we then by [this] faith make the Law of no effect, overthrow it or make it a dead letter? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law.

This means we call onto Jesus who is Grace the author of our salvation and we receive HIM (Grace) and Power to repent and overcome being slaves to sin. It does NOT give us the ability to continue in our sins being slaves to sin or to serve two masters or to love what the world has to offer.

When you truly accept the Lord, you are not only saved, you are BEING Saved!! Do NOT shipwreck your faith or be led astray by the lusts of the world or by a stubborn heart. Continue to ask the Lord to search your hearts to reveal what does not belong in your hearts. Repent and return to your First Love for the King of Kings is returning! The call to straighten the crooked path has been going out. The shofar is being blown to awaken His people to a call of WAR!

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are BEING saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.

Giving and Receiving

In the Kingdom of God, there is a law of giving and receiving. Today's culture and world (Babylon system) indoctrinates its people to be greedy and selfish which has permeated into our Christians ranks. Our corporations and marketing strategies have programmed people that if they are not satisfied, they can either get it for free or that they deserve a discount.

Today, many Christians want everything for FREE just like the world. Yes, Grace is free to receive salvation but now it is YOUR turn to distribute some of that grace back out. Wolves have come into the ranks to tell the brethren they do not even have to tithe (10%) anymore. Yes, there are many other wolves out there trying to steal your money but that should not stop you from giving your first fruits to God. Will you stop going to church and will you stop worshiping God because some people have hurt you within the church? Do those people dictate your actions or does God? Are those people god that you should react based on what they have done to you?

Yes, Grace is free but what has it cost you to follow Jesus? What have you even given up? And we wonder why our walk is not spiritually materializing? Is it so hard to give up some of the things of the world? If you were backslidding and you have returned to the Lord, what has it cost you? What? Ask yourself. Have you given up the gambling? Have you given up the drinking? Have you given up spending all your time with sports instead of God and your family? Have you given up watching too much TV?

If you want prosperity or to be materially blessed, what is your motive? Do you want the prosperity so you can buy more and bigger things? Do you want to show off your wealth? Why? It is God who is the power to our prosperity and if we are prosperous then it was given to us for the purpose of HIS Kingdom! If we ask for prosperity, let us ask so that we may use it for His Kingdom.

When the tithe or offering plate is being passed around, are you frantically searching your purses or pockets attempting to determine whether to give $1, $5, or $10? Isn't that what most do when they give money to a begger on the street? Is God a begger that we should throw our chump change and coins at HIM!!! HE SAID, "UNACCPTABLE!!!!!!" This is what Jesus said to one of His servants of how His many of people give to HIM.

Whether one has been given more wisdom, talent, or wealth, it is for the Glory of the KING. And if you have been given more, you will be required more.

Luke 12:48 (AMP) But he who did not know and did things worthy of a beating shall be beaten with few [lashes]. For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require and demand all the more.

We are placed in different season to learn how to receive and how to give. Unless we obey, the Kingdom of God is hindered and those who do not obey will answer to the Lord. Be lead by the Spirit. If you have faith as you say, then live it as you believe it!

2 Corinthians 8:7 (AMP) Now as you abound and excel and are at the front in everything--in faith, in expressing yourselves, in knowledge, in all zeal, and in your love for us--[see to it that you come to the front now and] abound and excel in this gracious work [of almsgiving] also.

We have all been called to support one another as the Lord leads us and as we are able. If you saw one of your brethren hungry, did you feed them? If you saw one of your brethren cold who doesn't own a coat, did you give him your best coat or your worse coat? Or did you let him leave without a coat?

2 Corinthians 8:14-15(AMP) But to have equality [share and share alike], your surplus over necessity at the present time going to meet their want and to equalize the difference created by it, so that [at some other time] their surplus in turn may be given to supply your want. Thus there may be equality,15As it is written, He who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little did not lack.

If we say we can die for the Lord, may we learn and know how to give our best to HIM while we are alive.

Bitten by serpents

When we read the OT and see how God's people seem to repeatedly look back, follow and bow down after idols, we in the NT era read about it and it appears at first difficult to understand how ignorant or unwise God's people could have been. After all, they had seen great manifestations of God's work and power. We would think how could such a people be so stiffed neck and continue to rebel and forsake the Lord.

One major problem with the OT saints was that in their pursuit or bowing down to other idols, they did not even realize they were sinning against God. We the NT saints look at the OT saints and wonder how could they have been be bowing down to the altars of Baal and Ashteroth when they should have known God?

If man was given another two thousand years, the future saints would look back at us and say the same thing because many of us do not realize we are bowing down to our own modern type of idols or altars of Baal and Asheroth. Many of us are sick and we do not even realize we have been bitten by serpents just as God's people had been bitten during the wilderness when they complained and sinned against God.

Numbers 21:5-9 And the people spoke against God and against Moses, Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water, and we loathe this light (contemptible, unsubstantial) manna.6 Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died.7And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people. 8And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. 9And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [[a]attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived.

1 Corinthians 10:9 (AMP) We should not tempt the Lord [try His patience, become a trial to Him, critically appraise Him, and exploit His goodness] as some of them did--and were killed by poisonous serpents;

In many cases, the OT saints did not realize and know they were sinning and therefore did not repent which resulted in many perishing. Many today complain of their situations. Today, if we do not realize our sins and confess them, many of us will perish in the same manner, physically and spiritually. But sadly, many of God's people even today are still perishing!! We are perishing like the other nations of unbelievers because of our disobedience!

Deuteronomy 8:19-20 And if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. 20Like the nations which the Lord makes to perish before you, so shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

"And if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods." The word forget might as well be synonymous to continued backsliding! If one was cold then one would know they are backslidding but when one is lukewarm, they do not even realize they are sinning against the Lord.

Moses had to make a fiery serpent of bronze on a pole. The people had to repent and look attentively, expectantly with steady and absorbing gaze to live. Today, you do not need to look at a bronze pole but the Son of Man who has been lifted up on a cross! But we still need to confess our sins and if you think you have not sinned or if you believe you are good to go then you are but a pharisee who prays before the altar of God and thanking Him for not being like the other evil doers. You are but self righteous. It was the tax collector who had come before the Lord to ask for mercy not even lifting up his head and it was he who went home justified.

What is your attitude? Are you good to go or are you humbled enough to ask God to search your heart for any hidden sins or if you are bowing down to idols?

John 3:14-15 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross],15 In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may [c]not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!

Many people who have been bitten by spiritual serpents today are not looking up at the Son of Man who have been lifted up on a cross and are not being healed. Why? First order is to know if we have sinned. If we do not know we have sinned against the Lord, then how is one to repent. We MUST then ask the HOLY Spirit to search our hearts and show us. We must confess our sins and continue to LOOK at the Son of Man who had been lifted on the cross to live physically and spiritually.

1 Corinthians 11:31 (AMP) For if we searchingly examined ourselves [detecting our shortcomings and recognizing our own condition], we should not be judged and penalty decreed [by the divine judgment].

He will prune, train, and repeatedly cleanse His branches.

John Chapter 15 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

It seem those who truly follow Jesus Christ and love Him will experience more trials and tribulation. To the worldly people, we may even look like a “loser”.  In their eyes, we may look timid and weak. Before reaching an expected breakthrough, God will repeatedly cleanse and prune us. After all, we must not forget that we are His branches. The more fruit you bear, the more cleansing and pruning will you go through. We will be prune until a richer and more excellent fruit is produce and ready to sell (to do His kingdom work).

Even after bearing qualified fruit, He will still continue to prune us but it will not hurt as before since much of the flesh has been crucified. It is just as real fruit trees are prune and trained. This word "trained" is an actual term used in the industry. Without proper pruning and training, the fruit trees will not properly develp in shape and form. When fruit trees are properly pruned and trained, they will yield a higher quality fruit in their earlier years and the life of the tree will live significantly longer.

Another form of pruning and training is to remove any dead, diseased, or broken limbs. Just as real trees are pruned, God prunes the dead, diseased, and broken limbs from our lives. Anything that does not belong in our lives which prevent God from bearing good fruit will be continuously pruned and trained. The more we resist, the more it will be painful. Without the necessary pruning and training, we will not be able to bear good fruit and if we do not bear good fruit, we are no use and we will be cut off and thrown into the fire. Even if you are born again and have an experirence with God knowing you have been saved by Grace and on your way to heaven, if you do not bear fruit, scripture is very clear on the consequences. The above scripture states, “Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit He cuts away…” The unbelievers are not in Him. It is very clear, a born again Christian who has stopped bearing fruit will end up burning in the fires hell.

John 15:6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.

The fruit we must bear are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. God continues to remind me to bear all these fruits and without these fruits we will not enter the Kingdom of God. We can not enter heaven with our short tempers, hate, anger, without self control, and etc.

Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP)But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge].

Please we must reflect the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. If there are fruit that is opposite of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, then we must ask God to help us from bearing bad fruit and for Him to prune us. We are branches that needs to be pruned. What are the benefits of bearing good fruit?

John 15:8,9,11 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in is love with Me]. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.

If we produce much fruit, Father will be honored and glorified! It is also testimony of our approval in being true followers of God!! And there is more, bearing much fruit prove that we are ABIDING in His love and our joy and delight may be in us and that our JOY and GLADNESS may be of FULL MEASURE, COMPLETE and OVERFLOWING! The best part is that we will GO TO HEAVEN after our life is finished on earth. I have more good news to tell you. If you continue to bear good fruit, whatever we ask God in His name, He will grant it to us. Would you not want to reward and give more favor if your children fully obey you?

John 15:16 ….that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.

Let us be separated and distinguished from the world. Our fruit will prove that we are the true followers of Christ Jesus. If our fruit is like the world (bad fruit) how will we glorify God and honor Him? And how will we draw sinners to Him? If the world loves you and if you love anything that is in the world, you must remember, that the ax is already at the root and you will be cut off in the end. How do we know if we belong to the world or God?

John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.

If your worldly Christians or unbeliever friends loves to hang out with you and you have no problem hanging out with them doing what the world does, this may mean you are trouble. Now we must have a different spirit then them. If our spirit and their spirits are getting along great, it is more like we belong to the world. Please separate yourselves from the world. If it is necessary, we may have to end our friendship and start praying to God for godly friends to hang out with.

Our walk with the Lord may not be so easy but walking and doing His plan will satisfy you above all things. It may be sometimes be a lonely walk but it is only Jesus who can fill any lonely void so you may be fully content. We must always remind ourselves the NARROW way is literal. It will become so narrow that many people will not continue to walk with us. The great harvest is coming and we must be equipped and at least be prepared to start. You must be willing to be pruned and trained. May YOUR WILL BE DONE AND YOUR KINGDOM COME LORD!!”

I give all the glory to God.

The Log in one's own eye

Many think it is the other one who is religious. Many think it is the other person who is deceived. Many think it is the other one who is on the wide road. Many think it is the other guy who cannot preach. Many ridicule their kings, spiritual leaders and their secular leaders. Many Christians continue to be like the pharisee in the parable who is thanking God for not being like the other guy (tax collector) and continues to point such people out. This is but self righteousness. Did God tell us such a particular person is deceived or a false prophet and did HE tell us to go tell the world regarding that particular person? Have we been given that authority as an individual to do such a thing? We may know to a degree who is really deceived or false in our hearts but have we been given the authority to point them out? There is MORE POWER to pray for them then judging others in which we may not have the authority to judge. Paul said what business is it his to judge outsiders when that is God's business.

1 Corinthians 4:5 (AMP) So do not make any hasty or premature judgments before the time when the Lord comes [again], for He will both bring to light the secret things that are [now hidden] in darkness and disclose and expose the [secret] aims (motives and purposes) of hearts. Then every man will receive his [due] commendation from God.

1 Corinthians 4:7 (AMP) For who separates you from the others [as a faction leader]? [Who makes you superior and sets you apart from another, giving you the preeminence?] What have you that was not given to you? If then you received it [from someone], why do you boast as if you had not received [but had gained it by your own efforts]?

We are all guilty of this. But it is important that the Holy Spirit helps us realize the log in our own eye so we may be set free by His Truth.

When we stop looking at others and first look at the log in our own eyes, then we will see who is deceived. Perhaps, it is really the person looking in the mirror. We are justified by looking at our own sins and asking for mercy and not pointing the sins and shortcomings of others. Be careful that you do not get swept in the tidal wave of the mob mentality to go after people just as Korah did when they attempted to overthrow God's authority and ended up in hell by being swallowed by the earth.

Luke 18:9-14 He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves and were confident that they were righteous [that they were upright and in right standing with God] and scorned and made nothing of all the rest of men:10Two men went up into the temple [[i]enclosure] to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.11The Pharisee [j]took his stand ostentatiously and began to pray thus before and with himself: God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of men--extortioners (robbers), swindlers [unrighteous in heart and life], adulterers--or even like this tax collector here. 12I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I gain.13But the tax collector, [merely] standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but kept striking his breast, saying, O God, be favorable (be gracious, be merciful) to me, the [k]especially wicked sinner that I am!14I tell you, this man went down to his home justified (forgiven and made upright and in right standing with God), rather than the other man; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Proverbs 14:12 (AMP) There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.

Proverbs 14:12 is being addressed for the reader, YOU! It was not written so that we can look for the faults of the "other person."
If we are going to point to anyone, let us point to the author of our Salvation and lift Him up. God has the devil to be the finger pointer for accusations. Why are so many helping the devil? Let us repent and bear fruit of the Holy Spirit. Let us bear fruit of righteousness and NOT self righteousness.

“Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?" Revised

“He replied to them, And why also do you transgress and violate the commandment of God for the sake of the rules handed down to you by your forefathers (the elders)?"

Matthew 15:3 (Amplified) He replied to them, And why also do you transgress and violate the commandment of God for the sake of the rules handed down to you by your forefathers (the elders)?

Matthew 15:3 (KJV) But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

When we read this verse in Matthew, we can clearly see how Jesus was addressing the Pharisees. But what if what He said applied today? What if what He spoke two thousand years ago was also meant for us today? Have we created any traditions that may be breaking and violating God's commandments? Many do not really think of this because they think when Jesus spoke it that it was mostly for the Old Testament saints. Many out of ignorance and by incorrect teachings by theology throughout generations have been fed a water down powerless gospel.

If you look at  church folks today, especially on Sundays, what can we observe? Have they created traditions for themselves thinking Sunday is just as trivial as any other day? Do they think it is trivial because it is what they are used too and what their parents did from the past generations?

I once observed a senior group come to a particular restaurant after church. They had gathered every week. Many ordered the same thing every week. It was a day for them to get together and catch up with friends or family. It was a day after church many used for themselves to get together.  It had become a tradition to meet outside of church on Sundays and give the world commerce.

Whether you go to the same place or a different place, one may have made a tradition to go eat after church. Maybe some are using the day to religiously get together with your friends to watch football or any other sports and have a BBQ. Many traditions have been created by believers throughout the years as football, basketball, Nascar, soccer, hunting, and baseball seasons come into play. In fact, many are missing church because of such sports or worldly entertainment are  played on Sundays. How do you think God would view His people being spectators in the Roman Gladiator stadiums after they had given HIM only an hour or so of worship? You say we are no longer living under the Roman Empire? Are we not in the era of the 5th Kingdom or empire of iron and clay described in the book of Daniel or the divided Roman Empire in these last days? Would it be more justifiable if the person was holding a sign of John 3:16 or if it was painted on their faces instead as they shouted for their favorite idols/teams/players?

Have you ever noticed whether you yourself get excited because it is Sunday and you look forward to corporate worship or do you get excited because it is football day. Or perhaps it is a day you are looking forward because you get to go hunting or fishing with your friends and family? Or maybe it is the day of the BIG Blue Light Special sale at Kmart or the shopping mall? Or perhaps the day for a Big Sunday Sale at your favorite department store? You get more excited over shopping than worship? We have six other days to do all the above.

Some have activities such family fishing, hunting, and sports events. These activities in themselves are not wrong but they have become idols for many Christians. If you get more excited about doing other things more than worshiping God on Sundays, then you better check and search your heart. If a person can get excited, jump off their couch watching TV, scream their lungs off for a person they do not even know running across an artificial field with a pigskin ball in tights and as other big men chase after the man with the pigskin ball in tights but they can barely keep their eyes open during church....well....they better seriously check themselves. Obviously, many do not understand the Aweness and terror of God and what He is capable of in His Jealousy. He says His Name is Jealous.

Exodus 34:14 For you shall worship no other god; for the Lord, Whose name is Jealous, is a jealous (impassioned) God,

All Christians will say they love God and this is probably somewhat true to most extent. But yet, they also are loving something else more than God. Many today have become lovers of pleasure and entertainment.

Psalm 47:2 For the Lord Most High excites terror, awe, and dread; He is a great King over all the earth.

Leviticus 26:13-16(AMP) I am the Lord your God, Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should no more be slaves; and I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect [as free men].14But if you will not hearken to Me and will not do all these commandments,15And if you spurn and despise My statutes, and if your soul despises and rejects My ordinances, so that you will not do all My commandments, but break My covenant,16 I will do this: I will appoint over you [sudden] terror (trembling, trouble), even consumption and fever that consume and waste the eyes and make the [physical] life pine away. You shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

It is just like watching violence or sex on TV and getting desensitized. We have been desensitized by the world regarding keeping the 4th commandment. If you continue to watch enough sex and violence, especially sexual perversion, we will begin to think this is how the world functions and we will begin to think it is normal. If we look at many teenagers and young adults today around the world, they are getting pregnant and having sex thinking everyone else does it. Even many of our Christian teenagers and young adults in church are falling into this trap. They do this without repenting because they do not possess the Fear of God and they think grace will cover them blindly.

Fourth commandment -
Exodus 20:8 REMEMBER the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. The Sabbath is now Sundays or the Eighth day in eternity.

Sunday is a day we go to church because we are a separated people that shows the world that we belong to someone else. Yet, after church, and in most cases, our churches give a measly hour service to God and the rest of the day we run to Rome and spend time for our cravings. Yes, I know church in itself is not a building. We are the church. But scripture says that we are to assemble.

Many say we are no longer under the law. Sorry friend, Paul meant the ceremonial laws and not the 10 commandments!

Romans 3:31 Do we then by [this] faith make the Law of no effect, overthrow it or make it a dead letter? Certainly not! On the contrary, WE CONFIRM AND ESTABLISH AND UPHOLD THE LAW.

Have you not noticed what this world is doing? They are attempting to make commerce 24 hours 7 days a week. They have placed many popular sports on Sundays. They have placed many shopping sale days on Sundays. They have made many family sports events on Sundays. Even some of our churches have sports events on Sundays. People come to church for the sport activity instead of seeking God. Many will go spend money on sale items at the department stores on Sundays but at the same time they are too stingy to tithe properly?

The Lord's Day or Sundays are to be kept Holy but it is being defiled as our people have let the devil in their bedrooms! And you wonder why our people are dying in our churches like flies? And you wonder why there is no power in our churches? And you wonder why most of our churches look dead instead of alive? And you wonder why many of His people have made His Word of NO Effect? This world is deceiving many. Wake up! God is very serious about His 10 commandments?

Mark 7:13 Thus you are nullifying and making void and of no effect [the authority of] the Word of God through your tradition, which you [in turn] hand on. And many things of this kind you are doing.

Think about it, you know you can't steal. You know you can't murder. You know you can't commit adultery. But then what is the 4th commandment to YOU? You must ask this of yourself. You must ask God about this. It is one of the 10 commandments. You must ask yourself, what does it mean to keep the Sabbath Holy. For the NT saints it is now the eighth day. We worship on Sundays. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=252383594797577

Some have told me that the 4th commandment no longer applies but the other nine still do. Some have even told me the 10 commandments do not apply at all. Some folks are full of nonsense.

The question still remains, what does it mean to keep it HOLY? Why was it instituted with God's people?

Ezekiel 20:12 (Amplified Bible) Moreover, also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might understand and realize that I am the Lord Who sanctifies them [separates and sets them apart].

God was very severe during the Old Testament days with those who broke the 4th commandment. Do you think He just forget about it? Do you think He said, "MY Bad", as they say in today's term or slang?

When God provided manna He told His people NOT to gather on the Sabbath? Why? He was testing their obedience. But people still proved to be stiffed neck and some still went out on the Sabbath not following God's instructions.

Exodus 16:27-28 On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none. 28 The Lord said to Moses, How long do you [people] refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?

Many have misinterpreted Col 2:16. After God had judged so many of His people  in the older days and after many got stoned and killed for breaking the Sabbath, do you think we get a free pass? Many of those in the Old Testament who received judgment for breaking the Sabbath are in hell. How is our God just if He does not enforce it in the New Testament era?

In the Old Testament days, an adulterer got stoned for cheating on one's spouse. Today, we do not stone people but it does not mean they are exempt from God's judgment for adultery. Will a Christian who continues to commit adultery without repenting inherit the Kingdom of God? And at the same time, it does not mean we are exempt from God's judgment for breaking the 4th commandment either.

Keep it Holy. What does this mean? This means the day belongs to Him and not us. It is not for our personal pleasure. We do have grace for many things but you must be wise. If you have church at 5 PM or a football game, which will you choose? If you have church at 10 AM or a 2 hours window for a 80% off Sale at the mall, which will you choose? It does not mean you do it in between or after either. The whole day is the Lord's!! Can you lose the TV? Can you lose a season of your favorite sports team? Can you?

Isaiah 58:13-14 If you turn away your foot from [traveling unduly on] the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a [spiritual] delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and honor Him and it, not going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking with your own [idle] words 14Then will you delight yourself in the Lord, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage [promised for you] of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it

Ezekiel 20:16 Because they despised and rejected My ordinances and walked not in My statutes and profaned My Sabbaths, for their hearts went after their idols.

Ezekiel 22:26 Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things. They have made no distinction between the sacred and the secular, neither have they taught people the difference between the unclean and the clean and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Ezekiel 23:38 Moreover, this they have done to Me: they have defiled My sanctuary on the same day [of their idolatries] and have profaned My Sabbaths.

James 4:4 (Amplified Bible) You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.

I suggest every one of you ask God in regards to this matter. It is important. The Lord's Day (Sunday) is now your 4th commandment. Keep the day for Him. If many of you are not able too because of work or other issues, then use this time that Grace has allowed to pray for help and to get things right with God. Grace is there to help us get things right with God. Grace takes us to spiritual maturity to becoming more like our King and unto completed salvation. It DOES NOT give us a license to continue in our SIN or to break His commandments.

Deuteronomy 8:19-20 And if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.20 Like the nations which the Lord makes to perish before you, so shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Jeremiah 2:22-35 For though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, yet your iniquity and guilt are still [upon you; you are] spotted, dirty, and stained before Me, says the Lord.23How can you say, I am not defiled; I have not gone after the Baals [other gods]? Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done. You are a restive young female camel [in the uncontrollable violence of her brute passion eagerly] running hither and thither,  24Or [you have the untamed and reckless nature of] a wild donkey used to the desert, in her heat sniffing the wind [for the scent of a male]. In her mating season who can restrain her? No males seeking her need weary themselves; in her month they will find her [seeking them].25[Cease from your mad running after idols, from which you get nothing but bitter injury.] Keep your feet from being unshod and your throat from thirst. But you said, It is hopeless! For I have loved strangers and foreigners, and after them I will go.26As the thief is brought to shame when he is caught, so shall the house of Israel be brought to shame--they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets--27[Inasmuch as] they say to a tree, You are my father, and to a stone, You gave me birth. For they have turned their backs to Me and not their faces; but in the time of their trouble, they say, Arise [O Lord] and save us!28But where are your gods that you made for yourself? Let them arise if they can save you in the time of your trouble! For [as many as] the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah. [Surely so many handmade idols should be able to help you!]29Why do you complain and remonstrate against My wrath? You all have rebelled and revolted against Me, says the Lord.30In vain have I stricken your children (your people); they received no discipline (no correction). Your own sword devoured your prophets like a destroying lion. 31O generation [that you are]! Behold, consider, and regard the word of the Lord: Have I been a wilderness to Israel [like a land without food]? A land of deep darkness [like a way without light]? Why do My people say, We have broken loose [we are free and will roam at large]; we will come no more to You?32Can a maid forget and neglect [to wear] her ornaments, or a bride her [marriage] girdle [with its significance like that of a wedding ring]? Yet My people have forgotten Me, days without number.33How you deck yourself and direct your way to procure [adulterous] love! Because of it even wicked women have learned [indecent] ways from you.34Also on your skirts is found the lifeblood of the persons of the innocent poor; you did not find them housebreaking, nor have I found it out by secret search. But it is because of [your lust for idolatry that you have done] all these things--[that is everywhere evident.]35Yet you keep saying, I am innocent; surely His anger has turned away from Me. Behold, I will bring you to judgment and will plead against you because you say, I have not sinned.

Guide us in Your truth and faithfulness and teach us, for You are the God of my salvation!! Lead us to you Truth Lord and put us in agreement with you. Let us not be afraid to accept Truth. Lord, put salve on our eyes so they may be opened.

May the Lord have mercy on all of us

Seventy seven times!

Know and profess to yourselves that as a Christian and a people of the Light that you are NOT ALLOWED to be offended whether unbelievers or your brethren offends you. People say and do things without thinking. How one speaks and how one receives may not be what was meant in the heart. Therefore, let us give more grace to one another as we ask for more Grace for ourselves from Father God.

If we ask God for more Mercy and Grace for ourselves then should we not extend such mercy and grace unto others for their shortcomings or offensives?

Matthew 18:21-35 Then Peter came up to Him and said, Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him and [h]let it go? [As many as] up to seven times?22Jesus answered him, I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven!23Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a human king who wished to settle accounts with his attendants.24When he began the accounting, one was brought to him who owed him 10,000 talents [probably about $10,000,000],25And because he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and his children and everything that he possessed, and payment to be made.26So the attendant fell on his knees, begging him, Have patience with me and I will pay you everything.27And his master's heart was moved with compassion, and he released him and forgave him [cancelling] the debt.28But that same attendant, as he went out, found one of his fellow attendants who owed him a hundred denarii [about twenty dollars]; and he caught him by the throat and said, Pay what you owe! 29So his fellow attendant fell down and begged him earnestly, Give me time, and I will pay you all !30But he was unwilling, and he went out and had him put in prison till he should pay the debt. 31When his fellow attendants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and they went and told everything that had taken place to their master. 32Then his master called him and said to him, You contemptible and wicked attendant! I forgave and cancelled all that [great] debt of yours because you begged me to.33And should you not have had pity and mercy on your fellow attendant, as I had pity and mercy on you?34And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (the jailers), till he should pay all that he owed.35 SO ALSO MY HEAVENLY FATHER WILL DEAL WITH EVERY ONE OF YOU IF YOU DO NOT FREELY FORGIVE YOUR BROTHER FROM YOUR HEART HIS OFFENSES.

I will take sickness from your midst

Exodus 23:24-26 "You shall not bow down to their gods or serve them or do after their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break down their pillars and images. 25 You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst. 26 None shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days"

In order for God to bless our bread and water (physical provisions or financial breakthrough) and take sickness away from our midst, there are a few prerequisites required. Not only are we to stop bowing down to our idols but we are to utterly overthrow and break them down. Today, in most cases, Christians do not literally bow down to idols but they do spend a great deal of time with their idols. Sadly, modern Christians continue to view an idol as a wooden god or statue when in today's term it can pretty much anything the world can offer, especially entertainment. God demands us to destroy and break down the pillars and images of our idols that takes up much of our time, resources, and our hearts. God will not compete for our time.

Many Christians today believe modest participation with secular entertainment and some cravings of the world  are acceptable to God. But who is going to measure one's modesty to another? If we are going to define what is modest and acceptable participation with Babylon (the world), well, all we will end up doing is to continue in partaking the fruit of death which is from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Paul said that he became a Jew to a Jew and to those outside the law, he became one who is outside the law for the sake of the gospel. Paul did not become one outside the law to enjoy what the world had to offer using the gospel as an excuse!

1 Corinthians 9:19-23 For although I am free in every way from anyone's control, I have made myself a bond servant to everyone, so that I might gain the more [for Christ].20To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to men under the Law, [I became] as one under the Law, though not myself being under the Law, that I might win those under the Law.21To those without (outside) law I became as one without law, not that I am without the law of God and lawless toward Him, but that I am [especially keeping] within and committed to the law of Christ, that I might win those who are without law.22To the weak (wanting in discernment) I have become weak (wanting in discernment) that I might win the weak and overscrupulous. I have [in short] become all things to all men, that I might by all means (at all costs and in any and every way) save some [by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ].23And I do this for the sake of the good news (the Gospel), in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].

If I smoke and my fruit is lung cancer or any other sickness associated with smoking then how am I to receive God's healing when I have not decided to stop smoking? How is God going to show mercy if I do not repent having made His temple into an astray? Unless I repent of my unrighteous deeds, what is the purpose of my healing if nothing is going to change in my heart? I, myself, personally had smoked for 20 years and I had to pray persistently for a year for deliverance. The Lord delivered me in November 2009. God had shown me if I had continued in my state using His temple as an astray, I would be smoking myself to HELL! We have a choice if we are addicted to such idols and bondage. We can pray for mercy and be willing to destroy such pillars of our idols and pray ourselves out of smoking and other such similar things by His Grace or we can continue to smoke ourselves right to Hell. He said be HOLY for HE is HOLY!

1 Peter 1:14-16 [Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].15But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.16For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.

If I drink alcohol and my fruit is a failed liver or any other sickness associated with drinking then how am I to receive God's healing unless I repent for making His temple into a bladder for my worldly pleasure? There were many seasons during my religious backslidden Christian life in which I drank heavily to my sleep for the purposes of partying or when I was depressed. Thank you Jesus for delivering and showing me the Truth! There is always a way out if we are willing to pay the price to follow HIM in full surrender.

If I hold spiritual issues such as anger, resentment, or bitterness in my heart and my physical fruit is some terminal disease like cancer because I experienced years of sleepless nights and torment holding onto a grudge(s), how am I to receive healing until I decide to tear down the pillars of my idols such as anger, resentment, and bitterness through repentance? Scripture says unless we forgive, He cannot forgive us! Will Grace SUPERSEDE God's own Word? You must forgive not only with your head but with all of your heart!

1 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP) "If anyone [a]does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [[b]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [c]do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [[d]the believing church and its individual believers] are."

It is too hard you say? How many of us have fought sin to the point of sweating blood as our Lord sweated blood to do the Father's Will? How many of us have even sweated at all agonizing against sin as it attempts to overcome us? The word "anyone" in 1 Corinthians 3:17 means ourselves included. If we defile the temple of God, there will be severe consequences!

Hebrews 12:3-4 Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.4You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood.

James 5:16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

You can get all the oil poured on to you by the elders but unless we repent and confess our sins, healing and restoration may not be possible.

I am not saying all physical issues are due from sin. In scripture John chapter 9:1-3, the disciples asked Jesus if the blindness from birth was due to sin from the parents? The Lord replied and said "he was born blind in order that the workings of God should be manifested (displayed and illustrated) in him." But in John chapter 5, when Jesus healed the invalid at the pool of Bethesda, the Lord told him to sin no more or something worse will happen. It was sin that had lead to the lingering disorder for the invalid.

John 5:13-14 Now the invalid who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had quietly gone away [had passed on unnoticed], since there was a crowd in the place.14Afterward, when Jesus found him in the temple, He said to him, See, you are well! Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.13Now the invalid who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had quietly gone away [had passed on unnoticed], since there was a crowd in the place.

What about when Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven?" Friends of a paralyzed man lowered him from a roof and Jesus healed him.

Luke 5:19-20 But finding no way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him with his stretcher through the tiles into the midst, in front of Jesus.20And when He saw [their confidence in Him, springing from] their faith, He said, Man, your sins are forgiven you!

Beloved brethren, do you not see the revelation in those words, "Your sins are forgiven you!" When we repent and are forgiven, we receive healing. Let us search our hearts! Just like any breakthrough, we may have been forgiven when we repented but we may have to still wait for an appointed day for our healing. Our job then is to keep our eyes on HIM and continue in our faith until our physical breakthrough. When I was addicted to smoking, I was repenting and still praying in faith as I waited for my deliverance. Until our deliverance or healing, let us continue to ask God to search our hearts.

In Judges chapter 6, the Lord had given the Israelites into the hands of the Midans for seven years when they did evil in His sight. When the God's people cried out, an angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon so that God would use him to deliver the Israelites from the Midans.

Judges 6:11-14 Now the [a]Angel of the Lord came and sat under the oak (terebinth) at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, and his son Gideon was beating wheat in the winepress to hide it from the Midianites. 12And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, The Lord is with you, you mighty man of [fearless] courage.13And Gideon said to him, O sir, if the Lord is with us, why is all this befallen us? And where are all His wondrous works of which our fathers told us, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian.14The Lord turned to him and said, Go in this your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?

Just like Gideon, many Christians today have NO IDEA why such judgement (discipline/chastisement) has befallen on them. In verse 13, Gideon like many today are wondering where His wondrous works of which is told in the bible? Where are the healing the people ask? They had not realized their bondage was due to doing evil in the sight of the Lord.

In many cases in the Old Testament, when God's people encountered God and returned to HIM, they would make an altar and give an offering. If we are sick and perhaps dying, why are many of our people still so tight with their wallets and unwilling to make a offering to the Lord even when their lives are at stake. In many cases, most want everything for free. There is always a price of death for life. There must be a death of your sins for healing. Beak and tear down your pillars and images of idols. Stop playing spiritual adultery with the Lord.

Judges 6:18 Do not leave here, I pray You, until I return to You and bring my offering and set it before You. And He said, I will wait until you return.

Exodus 34:20 But the firstling of a donkey [an unclean beast] you shall redeem with a lamb or kid, and if you do not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. And none of you shall appear before Me empty-handed.

In order for God to use Gideon and deliver Israel, the altars of idol worship had to be tore down and removed from the people. We must tear down and remove the idols in our current lives that either attempt to share His temple and Glory. What may they be? They may be disobedience to the Lord because we may be serving fear. They may be secular worldly things or people in which we symbolically bow down too such as self worship, movie stars, secular music, professional sports, money, cars, career, education, TV, even our children, our pets, etc etc! When will we realize it is a COMMAND to fulfill the the greatest commandment..to Love your God with ALL your heart, soul, and mind.

Judges 6:25-26 That night the Lord said to Gideon, Take your father's bull, the second bull seven years old, and pull down the altar of Baal that your father has and cut down the Asherah [symbol of the goddess Asherah] that is beside it;26And build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this stronghold with stones laid in proper order. Then take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the Asherah which you shall cut down. 27Then Gideon took ten men of his servants and did as the Lord had told him, but because he was too afraid of his father's household and the men of the city to do it by day, he did it by night.28And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the Asherah was cut down that was beside it, and the second bull was offered on the altar which had been built.29And they said to one another, Who has done this thing? And when they searched and asked, they were told, Gideon son of Joash has done this thing.30Then the men of the city commanded Joash, Bring out your son, that he may die, for he has pulled down the altar of Baal and cut down the Asherah beside it.

In the old days, they would come to kill you for tearing down their idols. Today, they would attempt to spiritually kill you by calling you legalistic or a cult.

In order for Israel to be delivered, the altars of Baal had to be tore down. Are we willing to humble ourselves and tear down the pillars and images of your idols? Yes, even the images we may have in our homes of other men and people whom you do not know and revere hanging on our walls? Are we ready to tear down the pillars of our pride that lifts ourselves up? Are we ready to tear down the pillars of our sin? Are we ready to step down from our lofty prideful positions and humble ourselves before the Lord and TRULY serve HIM?

2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMP) If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Did Jesus take the horrific whipping to only heal a select few? No, He came to die for all. He came to bringing healing for all! Did He only come to set a few captives free? He came to bring freedom for all His people!

Isaiah 61:1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,

May you all be led to HIS Truth leading you to TRUE FREEDOM in HIM! May you all be put in agreement with HIM. May you all be abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ. May His Glory be manifested and recognized through you. May your love abound more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all insight.

Matthew 3:8 Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart];

Set the path straight through repentance for the KING OF KINGS is Returning!!!
Glory to HIM!!

Escape the pain?

Daddy said, "Escape? I do not call you to escape. That is not My way. Did I escape the challenges of My life? Did I escape the humble life, the human pain, the cross? No. And so, you too must be willing to go through your life, not to escape from it. I give refreshments along the way. I will provide and I will restore you. You must face up to your life and walk in it, live through it, do what I have called you to do. There's no way out but My way- the path of simple obedience day by day"

Speaking outside one's authority

Numbers 12:1 "NOW MIRIAM and Aaron talked against Moses [their brother] because of his [a]Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite woman. 2And they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it." Miriam was the first mentioned female prophetess. But yet she spoke as though she had authority to speak on this matter.

Whether one is a prophet, prophetess, watchman, or whether one has been a Christian for 20 years or whether one has gone to bible school or have degrees, all of these mentioned do not give any person full authority on any or all matters to speak or teach unless it is given by God. Degrees do not give one authority. It is the Holy Spirit who gives one authority.

Aaron and Miriam ASSUMED that Moses was in error for having married a Cushite woman. After all, doesn't it state somewhere the God's people could not marry outside their people? On the surface, it sounded right to rebuke Moses from Mirian's stand point. But the real question would be, why would they even question it after witnessing God's power and authority through Moses? Their question was really birthed from their hardened hearts.

In verse 2, it is CLASSIC!! We still hear such talk today. "And they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us?"

Just because one hears God or receives visions and dreams does not give one authority to speak or teach on a particular matter or issue. If one does, they may be speaking in their flesh. It can appear on the surface a valid subject or issue to bring up but in God's Kingdom it is about Spiritual Authority and HE IS A MONARCHY! HE IS NOT a democracy!

God TAKES SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY VERY VERY SERIOUSLY. Please do not speak in your flesh usurping God's authority ATTEMPTING TO PUT IN YOUR TWO CENTS. If it is not your place to speak, then please don't. I say this for the benefit of many.

I do not know everything and since I do not know, I must wait until the Lord teaches and gives me the authority to speak on any particular matter. I should not attempt to know something I do not know or teach what I do not know. If I do not know, I will tell people I do not know.

Numbers 12:10-13
(AMP) And when the cloud departed from over the Tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. And Aaron looked at Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous! 11And Aaron said to Moses, Oh, my lord, I plead with you, lay not the sin upon us in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. 12Let her not be as one dead, already half decomposed when he comes out of his mother's womb! 13And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech You!

Miriam was punished with leprosy. Therefore brethren, before you speak or teach reacting to something what is your true motive? Are you speaking as lead by the Spirit or reacting in the flesh. Crucify your fleshes!

Ecclesiastes 5:2 (AMP) Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before God. For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; therefore let your words be few.

Proverbs 10:19
(AMP) In a multitude of words transgression is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is prudent.

So many have built their own golden calf

Speaking with some Christians previously, we were discussing how God's people had rebelled against God even after witnessing the Red Sea part. One particular Christian I spoke with said that if he was there, he would have never done what they had. There are many Christians who think if it were them in place of either Adam or Eve, they would have never eaten the forbidden fruit. There are many Christians out there who think they would have not made a golden calf as God's people had after crossing the Red Sea.

Such Christians who think like this are deceiving themselves to think if they were there that they would not have made such choices. Perhaps they would have, perhaps they would have not. But to be confident in one's mind thinking one would have done better is to be prideful of their own strength and understanding. Such thinking and such people would actually be the prime candidate for such deception. We must humble ourselves and know how the flesh can make such choices and decisions. Your enemy is not only the devil but it can be the person you look in the mirror every day.

When Moses went up Mt Sinai for 40 days and nights, according to the people Moses had delayed. God's people were not abandoning HIM. After all, they had witnessed God's judgment and miracles on Egypt. They had just witnessed the Red Sea part with the Egyptians destroyed. They had seen the salvation of the Lord!

Exodus 32:1-7 WHEN THE people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, [they] gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.2 So Aaron replied, Take the gold rings from the ears of your wives, your sons, and daughters, and bring them to me. 3 So all the people took the gold rings from their ears and brought them to Aaron.4 And he received the gold at their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made it a molten calf; and they said, These are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt!5 And when Aaron saw the molten calf, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord.6 And they rose up early the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play. 7 The Lord said to Moses, Go down, for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves;  8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten calf and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, These are your gods, O Israel, that brought you up out of the land of Egypt!

When the people thought Moses had delayed, they lost patience and planned on going ahead on their own. They told Aaron to make gods to go before them. They did not know if Moses was coming back or not. Perhaps Aaron had such fear as well thinking whether Moses would return or not and that is why he gave into their demands. However, they had not abandon the Living God. In their minds, they were building thing(s) that would help them move forward. In verse 5, Aaron said they would have a feast to the Lord and in verse 6, they had offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings. In verse 8, the people said, "These are your gods, O Israel, that brought you up out of the land of Egypt!" The people had built their own idols to mingle with the Living God and was stealing His Glory.

Even today, many Christians steal God's glory through their idols of pride, impatience, jealousy, humanism, self righteousness, coveting, wrongfully judging others, their own works in stead of works of obedience, and etc. Many Christians continue to defile God's temple by mingling secular worldly idols not only into His physical buildings of worship but their hearts as well. They do this out of impatience or for the love of the world. Many Christians instead of waiting for God's time create their own methods and process to go ahead of what was promised instead of waiting for HIM.

He requires a HOLY people set apart for HIM but we continue throughout the generations to bring the world into our churches! And we wonder why some of us are sick? Come out from the love of the world and stop participating in her sins.

Exodus 32:35 (AMP) And the Lord sent a plague upon the people because they made the calf which Aaron fashioned for them.

Revelation 18:4 I then heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out from her, my people, so that you may not share in her sins, neither participate in her plagues.

I heard our pastor in California preach on a question he had. The pastor was wondering even after Moses had come down broken the tablets in anger, melted the calf and made the Israelite drink it why the 3000 people still had chosen the wrong side? In those time, acts against God may have required one to be stoned so death was a possibility to those who had rebelled against God. The revelation our pastor had received was that those who died that day did not realize they had done anything wrong. This is why they risked their side knowing death was a possibility. Would people not choose to die for what they believe to be right?

Exodus 32:26-28 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Whoever is on the Lord's side, let him come to me. And all the Levites [the priestly tribe] gathered together to him.27And he said to them, Thus says the Lord God of Israel, Every man put his sword on his side and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.28And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses; and there fell of the people that day about 3000 men.

The problem is that the 3000 thought the Lord was on their side as well because they believed they had done nothing wrong. They had believed in their cause or what they were doing.

I could speak to many Christians today on how they are breaking God's commandments and stealing His money. But many would rebuke me and they would continue to believe in what they do or not do. They would believe all that they do is allowed by Grace. They would believe they are doing nothing wrong yet their homes and families may be in chaos. His Grace is there for us to get things right with HIM. His Grace is NOT there so we can mingle with the world and make idols for ourselves sharing His temple with lustful things.

You can have a Christian or player waving a big sign John 3:16 in a sports stadium of 80,000 screaming fans on the Lord's Day but do not think Lord is going to accept worship with a golden calf competing with HIM on His Day. Just because we make a feast unto the Lord does not mean He will accept it if we bring our own personal golden calves. God told Moses the people had corrupted themselves. It can look good on the outside because someone is professing or holding a big sign of scripture verses but God will reject what has been defiled or corrupted in the heart. Do not be so prideful to think we cannot become corrupted.

1 Corinthians 10:14 (AMP) Therefore, my dearly beloved, shun (keep clear away from, avoid by flight if need be) any sort of idolatry (of loving or venerating anything more than God).

James 4:4 (AMP) You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.

We all need more Grace!! Lord, give us more Grace and Mercy so we can receive your salve onto our eyes and we may rent our clothes and come to the throne through repentance. Help us restore broken fellowship with you by forsaking the things of the world that have caused the tear between you and your people. Lord have mercy on your people. Awaken them from their slumber and slothfulness!

Exodus 23:24-26 You shall not bow down to their gods or serve them or do after their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break down their pillars and images. 25 You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.26None shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

Please remember, the promises of God are all conditional.
