Operating in Witchcraft

1 Samuel 15:3 Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.”

Witchcraft can be defined as speaking with spirits of the dead, demons, fortune-telling, divination, etc. Why is rebellion associated with witchcraft? Why did Samuel state King Saul was operating in witchcraft?

We humans are led by two voices. You are either led by the Holy Spirit or you are led by the demons. Now, there can be a mix in which a Christian can be led by the Holy Spirit and by demons. There can be a mix in which a Christian can hear the Voice of God and also be hearing the voices of demons. This is why we need discernment. This is why you need to die to your flesh. This is why you need to be humbled.

If your flesh is much alive, then the loudness and restlessness of your flesh will hinder the Voice of God. You will hear the voices of jealousy, pride, lust, murder, hate, coveting, unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, etc. If you are not hearing God or if you are not being led by the Holy Spirit, you are by default being led and spoken by demons. Earthly voices of the unspiritual flesh are but demonic. Scripture says where there is disorder, chaos, and confusion, there is evil of every kind. You must discern your situation to know if you are under order or disorder. Our God is a God of order. Where there is order, there is God. Where there is confusion, disorder, and chaos, there is the devil.

James 3:13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. 15 For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. 16 For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.
17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

In this world, if you get a 70%, you pass. If you get an 80%, you pass. If you get a 90%, you pass. If you get a 95%, you pass. Lastly, if you get a 99% grade, you pass. This is earthly and physical. It is not eternal. Eternal passing requires 100%. Eternal failing is 99%. The devil only needs 1 % and he has you as his slave.

King Saul obeyed to about 95% in 1 Samuel 15. He defined himself as obeying God. He did everything based on what he wanted. God ordered him to kill all the Amelikites and their livestock. But King Saul spare the king of the enemy. King Saul spared the best cattle, sheep, and livestock because of the people.

Samuel said stubbornness is idol worship. Stubbornness is self exalting. Stubbornness is self will. Stubbornness is self seeking. Stubbornness is self idol. Stubbornness is refusing to yield and submit to authority. Stubbornness is sparing the king of the Amelikites to parade around to show off his trophy. Stubbornness is prideful. King Saul was into himself. He was a self idol worshiper.

But why was his rebellion witchcraft? God spoke instructions to him. God gave him specific instructions. When he listened to the people, the people were led by their flesh. The people were led by the demons. Even though on the surface, it sounded good. "Lets spare the best and sacrifice them to God." The demons will allow you to go to church. The demons will allow you to read, pray and even worship at times. But the demons want you to read out of pride. The demons want you to pray asking for selfish things. If you disobey God, you have yielded to the demons. When one yields to the demons listening to their voices, you are now practicing witchcraft. It does not matter you obeyed God 99% of the times. If you have obeyed the demons 1 %, you are operating in witchcraft because you were led by the demons.

Therefore, one may be very spiritual and be spiritually sensitive. King Saul had to submit to Samuel for he was the Voice of God. But Saul was King and regardless of your position, one must discern to know when to submit to God's authority and government. When King Saul did not FULLY OBEY, he was an anointed person refusing to submit to God's authority. When a person refuses to submit to God's authority and government, such a person who may be spiritual and may hear God's Voice, he/she is in rebellion and operating in witchcraft. Yes, such a person can hear God. In fact, King Saul was able to hear God through Samuel. Whether you hear God directly or indirectly, if you do not OBEY 100%, you are hearing the difference from the demons and therefore you will become a WITCH!

You must ask for discernment. Do not just allow anyone to lay hands on you. Do not just allow anyone to prophecy over you. Just because someone may speak truth does not mean it is from God. Even demons can speak truth but if you receive it from them, you may be turned into a eunuch.

Acts 16:16 One day as we were going down to the place of prayer, we met a demon-possessed slave girl. She was a fortune-teller who earned a lot of money for her masters. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”

A fortune telling demon possessed girl was speaking truth. Paul and the others were the "servants of the Most High God." I am sure the spectators and the crowd thought she was speaking well. Maybe they thought she was a prophetess. Maybe they thought it would be a good service. But Paul and the disciples discerned rightly.

Acts 16:18 This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.

What if Paul received this prophecy? Many today receive prophecy that sounds good but are from the devil. You must rightly discern. You must know the spirit behind the words.

You must seek HIS Face, die to yourselves, and learn to OBEY FULLY submitting and yielding to HIS authority and government.  A true Christian is always seeking to put themselves under God's government and authority. The Kingdom of God is full of citizens who possess characteristics of submission and yielding to God's authority. A witch is a person who possesses spiritual gifts operating as they wish and one who does not submit nor yield to God's government or authority. They are stubborn thinking they are the only ones right because they claim to hear God's voice.

As children of the Most High, we are kings and priests but disobedience will lead to our rejection from the King of Kings. You must come to know HE is a GREAT KING!

A Warning to the false prophets and witches

A WARNING TO THE FALSE PROPHETS and WITCHES

JER 23:9-15 My heart is broken because of the false prophets,
    and my bones tremble.
I stagger like a drunkard,
    like someone overcome by wine,
because of the holy words
the Lord has spoken against them.
10 For the land is full of adultery,
and it lies under a curse.
The land itself is in mourning—
its wilderness pastures are dried up.
For they all do evil
and abuse what power they have.
11 “Even the priests and prophets
    are ungodly, wicked men.
I have seen their despicable acts
right here in my own Temple,”
    says the Lord.
12 “Therefore, the paths they take
    will become slippery.
They will be chased through the dark,
    and there they will fall.
For I will bring disaster upon them
at the time fixed for their punishment.
    I, the Lord, have spoken!
13 “I saw that the prophets of Samaria were terribly evil,
for they prophesied in the name of Baal
and led my people of Israel into sin.
14 But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse!
They commit adultery and love dishonesty.
They encourage those who are doing evil
so that no one turns away from their sins.
These prophets are as wicked
as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were.”
15 Therefore, this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says concerning the prophets:

“I will feed them with bitterness
and give them poison to drink.
For it is because of Jerusalem’s prophets
that wickedness has filled this land.”

Who are the false prophets? The false prophets, witches, and warlocks do not come in clothes of witches flying on broom sticks. They are those who profess to be Christians who sit right next to other believers.  Beware as a wheat and/or sheep can become a tare and/or goat. The bible warns us to beware of wolves in sheep clothing. It does not necessarily say beware of wolves in shepherd clothing but sheep clothing. The sheep continue to stumble one another as many refuse to submit and yield to God's authority.

They are the ones operating under a witchcraft spirit speaking and saying "God said" when in fact, God did not say. Therefore, if God did not say, then they are speaking for the demons. They are seeking to usurp God's authority against the leadership and government of churches. Even to the church of Thyatira, Jesus had good words. HE said, "
I know your record and what you are doing, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your recent works are more numerous and greater than your first ones." But HE had one thing against the church, the church of Thyatira had tolerated Jezebel. The so called many prophetesses in our churches are running around with Jezebel spirits. But Jesus even gave Jezebel time to repent but she refused to do so. In verse 12, there is a time fixed for their punishment. But more fearful is that the punishment will also be on those who tolerate and give her authority. The false prophets, witches, and Jezebel's false prophecy and teachings are usually accompanied with sexual vice, adultery, and lewdness. Many of the false prophetess and witches are there to sexually seduce the pastors and governing authorities. Pastors beware of those who continue to tell you they are lonely!

They are those who come to you with self pity stories of themselves to seek sympathy. They are those who exalt you to gain your allegiance. They are those who want to make you a spiritual eunuch. They are those who are looking to make spiritual eunuchs to defend them and their cause. They come to you prophecying to make you feel better when in fact they have spoken from Baal instead of the Holy Spirit. They come to be someone's teachers "pet" to win favor but in realty to control you. They are ones who come to tell you something against the spiritual authorities and then tell you not to tell it to the pastors but to keep it a secret. They are those who advertise they have a word for you to gain acceptance and dependence. They are those who prophecy for money. They have come to seduce you spiritually and sexually (beware of their pictures and what they use to lure you). They are the ones who tell you they are lonely advertising they are available.

The false prophets and witches will be fed with bitterness and given poison to drink. In the bible, wormwood and gall of bitterness is mentioned as judgment. When someone is fed with bitterness and poison, then the effects are of the digestive system and has to do with eating. It would be a judgment of painful experience relating to the stomach or digestive system. There are many false prophets and witches operating in our churches. Many operate under such spirits and do not even realize they are DECEIVED! Know their fruit! Know the manifestations signs of judgment. Many Christians who are wicked will die very painfully in judgment. The false prophecy, words, and teachings of Baal that were once sweet in their mouths melting under their tongue will soon turn sour in their bellies and become poison. Even their followers will be struck. Just as in the days of Jeremiah, the land is currently full of adultery. Even today, many priests and prophets are ungodly wicked people.

Job 20:
12-29

“They enjoyed the sweet taste of wickedness,
letting it melt under their tongue.
13 They savored it,
holding it long in their mouths.
14 But suddenly the food in their bellies turns sour,
a poisonous venom in their stomach.
15 They will vomit the wealth they swallowed.
God won’t let them keep it down.
16 They will suck the poison of cobras.
    The viper will kill them.
17 They will never again enjoy streams of olive oil
or rivers of milk and honey.
18 They will give back everything they worked for.
Their wealth will bring them no joy.
19 For they oppressed the poor and left them destitute.
    They foreclosed on their homes.
20 They were always greedy and never satisfied.
Nothing remains of all the things they dreamed about.
21 Nothing is left after they finish gorging themselves.
Therefore, their prosperity will not endure.
22 “In the midst of plenty, they will run into trouble
    and be overcome by misery.
23 May God give them a bellyful of trouble.
May God rain down his anger upon them.
24 When they try to escape an iron weapon,
a bronze-tipped arrow will pierce them.
25 The arrow is pulled from their back,
and the arrowhead glistens with blood.
The terrors of death are upon them.
26     Their treasures will be thrown into deepest darkness.
A wildfire will devour their goods,
    consuming all they have left.
27 The heavens will reveal their guilt,
and the earth will testify against them.
28 A flood will sweep away their house.
God’s anger will descend on them in torrents.
29 This is the reward that God gives the wicked.
It is the inheritance decreed by God.”

Revelation 2:22-23 Take note: I will throw her on a bed [of anguish], and those who commit adultery with her [her paramours] I will bring down to pressing distress and severe affliction, unless they turn away their minds from conduct [such as] hers and repent of their doings.23 And I will strike her children (her proper followers) dead [thoroughly exterminating them]. And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves.

Many who have falsely prophecy must REPENT. Many who have searched for prophecy for the wrong reason are doing nothing but seeking medium and fortune telling spirits. Many need to REPENT. Many are already in their bed of anguish with severe affliction!

Time to enter the Promise Land

Deut 11:8-15 “Therefore, be careful to obey every command I am giving you today, so you may have strength to go in and take over the land you are about to enter. If you obey, you will enjoy a long life in the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors and to you, their descendants—a land flowing with milk and honey! 10 For the land you are about to enter and take over is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you planted your seed and made irrigation ditches with your foot as in a vegetable garden. 11 Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain— 12 a land that the Lord your God cares for. He watches over it through each season of the year! 13 “If you carefully obey all the commands I am giving you today, and if you love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and soul, 14 then he will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil. 15 He will give you lush pastureland for your livestock, and you yourselves will have all you want to eat.

The Promise land represents the resurrected life of a Christian. When we first get saved, we must come to be filled with HIS Word and Spirit. In the wilderness, we must make a choice to carry our own crosses and crucify our flesh so that we may be prepared for the Promise land. It is during the wilderness walk, they were fed manna (Word) from heaven and water (SPIRIT) from the Rock.

The Promise land is a land in which we are able to conquer the giants with our faith and be able to have a taste and experience the millennium kingdom. It is a season and life of blessing and favor. But in order to sustain our journey in the Promise land of blessings and favor, we must continue to fully obey His Word and commands. As scripture states, our strength comes from fully obeying HIM.

The story of Exodus from Egypt to the Promise land is a representation of salvation and the life of a believer. It illustrates the mistakes that a believer can make during their walk and the character of God in HIS Mercy, Grace, and Judgments. It illustrates the journey of a believer and how the multitudes can start out well but at the end, how many did not finish the race. In fact, many were judged and killed during their wilderness period.

Hebrews 3:
16-17 For who were they who heard and yet were rebellious and provoked [Him]? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He irritated and provoked and grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dismembered bodies were strewn and left in the desert?

Egypt represents the world, bondage, slavery, and its dependency on a system. A person can be first saved and come out of Egypt or it can represent a back slidden Christian coming out from sin and returning on the road with Christ. Once we are saved or once we return to Christ, we are placed in the wilderness. Even Jesus was placed in the wilderness by the Holy Spirit for testing before His ministry. We will all be placed in our own wildernesses for testing of our faith and to show what is in our hearts before God can use us.

The length of time we will spend in our own personal wildernesses will depend on our own choices whether we obey, grumble, or complain to God. But I believe God does not want us to spend a great deal of time in our own personal wilderness. I have recognized that those with more stubborn and hardden hearts will experience a longer wilderness until they submit and yield to the sovereignty of God. Many cry out for help but in reality, it is their own stubborn hearts that have led them to their difficulties. It is their blindness and usurping God's authority that prevents them from their breakthroughs and from entering the promise land.

In Verse 10, scripture says when we were in Egypt, "you planted your seed and made irrigation ditches with your foot as in a vegetable garden." In Egypt, it is where we are toiling physically by sight and not by faith. We are working within the system of the world and it is controlling and using us. We are on our own looking for jobs and resources. In the wilderness, God supplied His people and they never lacked and their shoes did not wear out. But those who complained were severely dealt with according to their sin. But once we pass our tests in the wilderness, we enter the promise land stage. The Promise Land is a stage in which we master, use, and control the system of the world and it does not master us. It is a place in which we are the lender and not the borrower. We are the head and not the tail However, sadly, many will not make it to the promise land stage as many in their wilderness have complained, grumbled, and rebelled against God. Many, even today, are judged and struck down by God in their wilderness period.

After we pass our tests and at His Time, we then are prepared to go over the spiritual Jordan River. The other side of the Jordan River is the Promise Land. But the Promise Land is occupied by Satan and his demons, curses, spells, and witchcraft. Yes, it is our Land! The devil has stolen what belongs to us. The earth belongs to us!

In the Promise Land, we live by faith. Our provisions are now granted by faith and His Grace. Unlike Egypt, we will no longer have to toil, planting our seed, making irrigation ditches. Rather, the Promise Land is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain. The Spiritual Promise land is a land that the Lord our God cares for. HE watches over it through each season of the year. HE will be supplying all our needs. It will be a place and season in which our cups will be overflowing.

The current war is no longer by flesh or blood but it is spiritual and against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In order for Joshua and God's people to take Jericho, they had to march around once each day for seven days and then seven times on the seventh day. On the last march, they shouted and the walls came tumbling down. Today, our marching is represented with prayer. We must accumulate our prayers to an appointed time until the walls around our hearts come tumbling down. The spoils of Jericho belonged to God. You must be the living sacrifice totally committed to HIM. After Jericho, the spoils belonged to the people. Nevertheless, we must continue to pray as we march to the next enemy to conquer.

The Promise Land is about conquering for we are more than conquerors in Christ. As we continue to take the Land, we will gain in our spiritual and physical prosperity. This is the Land and season in which what we profess and pray for are manifesting. There are many who pray and profess during the wilderness period but their words and prayers are not manifesting or being answered. This is the time in the Promise Land in which our prayers are being answered on a greater level. As we move forward from Glory to Glory, we continue to take the land and the spoils of the enemy (Satan) in which he had stolen.

As we continue in our full obedience to the Lord, there will be a continued seasons of "rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil." The Holy Spirit will be pouring His Spirit upon us and the evidence of our reaping of good fruit will be shown and abundant. The seasonal rains will bring in our harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil. The harvests of grains are the new souls we will harvest into the Kingdom. The new wine is the spiritual gifts and power we will receive from Jesus. The olive oil is spiritual and physical wealth and the out pouring of His Spirit.

May you all pass your tests enduring in your faith to make it to your spiritual Promise Land. And once you are there, may you continue to move forward in Glory to Glory. The command is given! We are to take the Land and conquer and possess it awaiting HIS RETURN! Do not just look up doing nothing! We are called to conquer, possess, and occupy the land until HIS RETURN. The earth belongs to HIS people.

You must return as a people repenting and praying. Pray in the Spirit! Dance in the Spirit! Worship HIM in the Spirit! We are an army on our knees marching in prayer to possess the Land. Remember, you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God and those who overcome their trials, tests, and tribulations of life are considered born of God. Those born of God are overcomers! Stay in prayer crucifying your flesh.

God bless you and Praise HIM with all your being!

Why should we ask for Wisdom?

James 1:5 (NLT) If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

The bible says to ask for Wisdom. But the door to Wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Many Christians ask for Wisdom but are they freely receiving wisdom from God? Many know King Solomon was the wisest man on the earth and there will be no other like him. We read the story of Solomon and just as Solomon had asked, many also ask for wisdom.

When I first got saved at the age of twelve, I spent two years reading the bible from beginning to end. I had read one chapter a day. I remember many important points that had helped me come to this point. Without having read the bible when I first got saved, my life would be much different than it is now. My life may have been destroyed if I had not read the bible. The bible had saved my life for I was in rebellion for many years during my youth.

But I do remember the story of Solomon and at the young age I had asked God for wisdom. Wisdom was growing but it is now at the age of 44 years old, Wisdom is gaining momentum with His Revelation.

Why was King Solomon given such a depth of wisdom? Why is it that many Christians ask but have yet to receive wisdom? The bible says we do not receive because we do not ask. But moreover, the bible also says we do not receive because we ask for our own evil desires. You must read the Bible as a Christian. If you do not read the bible and if you do not read it continuously, the devil will end up destroying your life. We must return to the basics of reading, praying, and worshiping. Evil is gaining in these last days but so is Grace as it is abounding even more. The bible, sermons, and messages can now be reached at the tip of your finger through your phones, computers, etc. We will have no excuse!

God is a God of order. You must read the bible to know His character and ways. Many know His power and many may have witnessed His miracles such as the Old Testament saints had but if you only know His power and gifts and you do not know HIM, then you may betray HIM one day. Many of the Old Testament saints with Moses saw the Red Sea part and they were fed food from heaven but at the end most of them rebelled and betrayed God. They were judged and killed in the wilderness during the 40 years. You must read the bible. God does not change.

Let us look at the order and what Solomon had done when he had asked for Wisdom. The bible says that Solomon loved the Lord and followed HIM. We must first love HIM by following His Ways. We must be in obedience to His Word. Moreover, he was one who knew how to give an offering to God. We must be obedient tithers and offers to God whether in our finances or of our lives. Solomon had offered 1000 burnt offerings. In those days, I am sure it was very significant.

Proverbs 3:9-10
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

1 Kings 3:3-5 Solomon loved the Lord and followed all the decrees of his father, David, except that Solomon, too, offered sacrifices and burned incense at the local places of worship. The most important of these places of worship was at Gibeon, so the king went there and sacrificed 1,000 burnt offerings. That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!”

Many know Solomon as the wisest man in the bible, on the earth at that time and who will ever be. Many Christians today ask for wisdom. But for what reason are we asking for wisdom? Why have you asked for wisdom? Have you asked wisdom so you can make riches? Have you asked wisdom for your own gain? Let us look at for what reason did Solomon ask for wisdom.

1 Kings 3:6-15 Solomon replied, “You showed faithful love to your servant my father, David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued your faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne.“Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. 11 So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies— 12 I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! 13 And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life! 14 And if you follow me and obey my decrees and my commands as your father, David, did, I will give you a long life.”15 Then Solomon woke up and realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem and stood before the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant, where he sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings. Then he invited all his officials to a great banquet.

In verse 9, Solomon is asking for Wisdom so he may receive an understanding heart so that he can govern God's people well and know the difference between right and wrong. King Solomon had asked for Wisdom so he can serve God's people better. He had asked for Wisdom to serve God better. He had asked not for himself but for others. He had put himself last and not first. He had a serving heart and attitude.

Why have you asked? Have you asked because for long life, wealth, or fame? But because King Solomon asked Wisdom so he can serve God's people better, God through Wisdom gave him knowledge, riches, wealth, and fame as provisions to serve God's people. This is the key to success. We must have a heart of obedience, a heart of offering, and a heart of serving God's purposes and not ours. What is the promise of long life? The promise of long life is IF we follow and obey HIS decrees and commands. Then no pestilence, disease, or harm can touch us. But if our lives are shortened, we must ask if we had lived an obedient life.

In James 1:5, scripture says to ask for wisdom for HE is a generous God. But HE warns us to ask in faith and without doubt. God is telling us if we ask for Wisdom, make sure you are willing to obey and follow HIM. When we obey, follow HIM, are faithful tithers and offers, and willing to serve HIS people,  then through such faith will come Wisdom as Solomon had received. Only those who fear God are willing to obey and this is the door to Wisdom.  And through Wisdom is the door to riches and wealth but for the purposes to serve God's Kingdom and purposes.
