The gift of tongue and how my wife and I pray

I would like to share some things on how my wife and I pray. We are not saying this is "the" method or if this is any better than others. We are just sharing and if the Lord leads you to incorporate any parts of it into your prayers, well then, Praise the Lord! I am going to share what the Holy Spirit has taught us in the last few years.

I finally received the gift of tongue last year on October 2010. My wife had already received the gift several years ago. I had to pray for it for almost a year if I remember correctly. Many of you may not have the gift of tongue but you must ask and desire it. Many of you who do not have the gift of tongue may like to use that particular verse which says "Do not all speak in tongues?" How do you know you fit in such a category? Did God tell you or have you decided this conclusion your own? But the fact is that Paul actually wishes we all have it!! Therefore, pray and ask until you  receive.

1 Corinthians 14:5 Now I wish that you might all speak in [unknown] tongues, but more especially [I want you] to prophesy (to be inspired to preach and interpret the divine will and purpose). He who prophesies [who is inspired to preach and teach] is greater (more useful and more important) than he who speaks in [unknown] tongues, unless he should interpret [what he says], so that the church may be edified and receive good [from it].

Paul also said he expecially wants us to prophesy. But is everyone prophesying? Are we going to ask, do all prophesy? Perhaps, not all have asked for the gift of prophesy? If the gift of tongue is used to edify oneself, should we not desire it? If the gift of tongue is required to pray in the spirit than should we not all seek and have it to edify oneself? When Paul asked, "Do all speak in tongue?" He was speaking about the gift of language and not the utterance or the unknown tongue. In my amplified bible, 1 Corinthians 12:30 does not have (unknown) before tongue as 1 Corinthians 14:5 and 1 Corinthians 14:15 does. It is distingushing two different tongues. There are two different tongues. One is an acutual language in which I can receive so I can speak to an foreign audience. The other (unknown) tongue are the utterances or perhaps the tongue of angels. And even if it did sound like utterances to someone, how do we know it is not an actual language from long ago? Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:1 is acknowledging that he can speak in the tongue of angels.

1 Corinthians 12:30 "Do all possess extraordinary powers of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?"

1 Corinthians 14:14-15 "For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody]. 15Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the [e]Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also."

1 Corinthians 13:1 "IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal."

When my wife prophesies, it comes through the gift of tongue as she prays. Is she interpreting her own tongue or is God speaking through her? I believe it is both. Acts 19:6 states "they spoke in unknown tongues and prophesied."

Acts 19:6 "And as Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke in [foreign, unknown] tongues (languages) and prophesied." As you can see, the brackets shows foreign and unknown.

I also have realized the churches that do not have daily or weekly prayer meetings are the ones that do not pray in (unknown) tongues. They acknowledge "the gift tongue" yet they will not seek it. Prayer is so very important in our walk with the Lord. If we are not a praying people, we will be defeated.

Before the Lord granted me the gift of tongue, He trained and tested me to see if I would pray normally. This is my experience and you may have a different experince. A few months prior to receiving the gift of tongue, we were in Colorado for one month and we attended a daily prayer meeting at the Holy Blazing Fire Church in Aurora. From Monday through Saturday, we prayed between 7 PM and to 9 PM give or take. Since I did not have the gift of tongue and all the other members did, I had to pray in normal English. But praying for two hours can be very difficult as I would run out of things to pray about. What did I do? Well, as the music played, I would incorporate worship during prayer. I worshipped and when God put a thought in me to pray about I would then go into praying mode. I would do this back and forth for 2 hours.

My wife and I pray with worship music in the background. We will incorporate worship with our prayers. My wife will do her Holy Spirit dance (this is a gift) and worships before she goes into prayer. I worship and pray back and forth. Like I said, I am not saying this is a defined method. It is what we do.

When we first start to pray, I will seal ourselves with the Blood of Jesus and call out for the Fire of God or Holy Fire around us. I ask God to send His mighty angels to surround us as well. Most of our praying is in tongue. The gift of (unknown) tongue is a perfect prayer. Even though we may not understand what we are speaking, the Holy Spirit is interceding on our behalf. It is to pray in the spirit.

We may be praying normally or praying in tongue. But as many of you have probably experienced, when we pray or read the bible, we seem to get attacked. Perhaps, our minds might begin to drift away and we begin to have other thoughts. Perhaps, we begin to day dream. Sometimes, we get sleepy all of suddenly.

When your mind gets attacked, call for the Blood of Jesus or the Fire of God on your brain, mind and thoughts. Keep doing it until those thoughts that do not belong there disappear. When you have bad thoughts of people or circumstances, try to pin point that thought or emotion. For example, if you are having a bad thought of someone, bind and cast out that thought in the name of Jesus. If it is jealousy, bind and cast it out by name. For example, "In Jesus Name, I bind and cast out jealousy! I bind and cast out the spirit of pride, deception, and delusion." You must understand, the evil forces may be around or in us and just because you cannot see them does not mean they are not around or in us.

Everyday when we pray, I am constantly binding deception, delusion, pride, and jealousy. These four evil spirits seems to contribute havoc on the body of Christ. After I bind and cast them out, I speak humility over ourselves. I speak life, peace, and His Truth over us.

If negative emotions or thoughts are consuming you, it is more likely that evil spirits have infritrated you. You must bind and cast them out of yourselves. Sometimes, if there is a stronghold in you, you may not be able to cast them out yourselves and will need help. Much of breaking down the stronghold is through repentance. Speak the spirit of repentance over you so the Holy Spirit can help you repent. But regardless, you must pray fervently and with authority. Perhaps your prayers must be accompanied with fasting. It is not just a one time statement of bind and cast out and we think it is all done. Sometimes, we have to pound on the evil spirit until they retract.

A water drop from a faucet has no effect. However, if that water drop continued to drop on a rock for several years, that benign water drop will change the structure of the rock. It may not have an immediate impact at first but as it continues its drops of water, it will have a major impact in the long term. This is how it is with prayers. We must continue until breakthrough.

My wife and I will continue to pray normally and in tongue. When we get sleepy, we must pray for a period of time until we achieve that breakthrough of renewed strength. Sometimes, I receive a lot of energy after prayer.

Many Christians do not understand the importance of prayer. Prayer will move the spiritual realm. Jesus had always prayed. I read that prayers are tangible things in the spiritual realm and the angels gather our prayers. Our prayers are gathered and stored. They are mixed with/and are the incense of fragrant spices and gums. How much prayer have you stored in heaven?

Revelation 5:8 "And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders [ of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense (fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God's people (the saints)."

Revelation 8:3 And another angel came and stood over the altar. He had a golden censer, and he was given very much incense (fragrant spices and gums which exhale perfume when burned), that he might mingle it with the prayers of all the people of God (the saints) upon the golden altar before the throne.

Some people have told me they are apprehensive if their gift of tongue is from God. When my wife begins to prophecise, she will call out for the Blood of Jesus and/or Fire of God on her mouth and tongue. This is how we test the spirits of prophecy. If demons are in our thoughts and if they are attempting to distract or counterfeit prophecy, we will call out the Blood of Jesus or the Holy Fire of God on our mouths and brains.

During our deliverance ministry, we have found out that demons can lodge themselves in our organs and body parts. They cause your sickness. We know this because we have tested it as we have called them out of certain organs or body parts and they had reacted.

Discipline yourself to become a prayer warrior. Do not think the other person is assigned the job to be an intercessor. Jesus is our main intercessor and if He lives in you then you are the intercessor as well. We are all intercessors. Pray for His Truth to be revealed in you. Pray that you are put in agreement wtih HIM. Pray and bind His Truth around your neck and around your hearts.

Three years ago during a drive to church my wife was driving and praying in the spirit. She began to prophecy as God spoke through her. He said three things. "Do not get corrupted, do not get deceived, and do not fall away." When I heard this, I thought to myself, 'Does God know something I don't of my future?' Regardless, this is what we incorporate into our prayers as well. We ask the Holy Spirit to help us so we do not get corrupted, that we do not get deceived, and to help us so we do not fall away.

If you have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit and with His Fire, please start praying for it! You will not receive it unless you ask!

Matthew 3:11 (AMP) "I indeed baptize you [a]in (with) water [b]because of repentance [that is, because of your [c]changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire"

God Bless you

Keep your eyes on the Lord

Many times the "storms" of our lives are too big to go around. We do not like to experience pain or difficulties and thus we are always looking for short cuts. Instead of asking God to get you out, perhaps, it is best to ask Him to help you go through the storm and finish your season. You may have to go through it regardless. Trying to go around it may not be His Will. Ask for His Strength.

If you are going through any storms in your life, you must keep your eyes on Jesus. When Jesus called Peter out from the boat, Peter began to walk on water because he obeyed, kept His faith and his eyes were on the Lord. Once Peter "perceived and felt the strong wind," his focus was off and his faith was attacked by fear. Once your focus is off Jesus, you will start to sink as your faith is no longer on Jesus but your circumstances. Peter and the disciples were not even experiencing a full storm but strong winds. If we cannot even keep our eyes on Jesus when life gets windy, how are we to survive the full force of a storm?

Matthew 14:28-31 (AMP)28 And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.29 He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus.30 But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me [from death]!31 Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt?

We can all say and start out with solid faith. But when things get a little rough, a little doubt will sink us. Your faith must continue and finish to the end. Yes, we may all move up and down on the faith meter but the most important matter is that you get up shake the dust off and continue forward regardless. You can either call on to the Lord for help or continue sinking.

As you move from each season, your faith will grow and become stronger as it had once been a small mustard seed that will grow into a giant tree. Faith is not just a thought or an intangible idea but it is proven through our works of obedience completing the task given to us as we are moved from Glory to Glory.

Are you prophesying out of your own desires or are you speaking on behalf of the Lord as He Wills?

1 Kings 22:22 "The Lord said to him, By what means? And he said, I will go forth and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets. [The Lord] said, You shall entice him and succeed also. Go forth and do it."

1 Kings 22:6(AMP) Then [Ahab] king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about 400 men, and said to them, Shall I go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I hold back? And they said, Go up, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.

1 Kings 22:19-22(AMP)And Micaiah said, Hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him on His right hand and on His left.20And the Lord said, Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? One said this way, another said that way.21Then there came forth a spirit [of whom I am about to tell] and stood before the Lord and said, I will entice him.22The Lord said to him, By what means? And he said, I will go forth and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets. [The Lord] said, You shall entice him and succeed also. Go forth and do it.

Ahab was the king of Israel and the 400 prophets were Israelites. They were God's people. Out of 400, only a lone voice actually spoke the Lord's Will. The others spoke what the king wanted to hear.

Even Christians today want to hear something so bad, they will look for those who speak their "language." And even today's prophets who want to speak and prophecy something so bad out of their own will and desire will utimately be given that opportunity. Whatever is hidden deep inside your heart that supersedes God's Will will be drawn out. Becareful not to add or take away.

Many Christians hate their government leaders so bad, they would want them to be the Anti Christ so they can justify hating him. Many Christians want to leave their painful situations and circumstances so bad, they want a date to be raptured.

Regardless of what Ahab heard, he was bent on going to Ramoth gilead to war. The 400 prophets prophecy to his favor because they were more interested in pleasing the king. Otherwise, the other alternative was to be thrown in jail with Micaiah.

Nothing has changed for there is nothing new under that sun. Are you speaking not to offend or will you speak uncompromised Truth even if you are the lone voice?

God defines evil as forsaking Him

What does God define as evil? When His people forsake Him, HE considers it EVIL. Yes, HE will never leave or forsake you as long as you do not forsake Him but history has shown His people have and tend to forsake Him. In the Old Testament, when His people forsook Him, they were so blind they did not even realize they were forsaking Him.

History always seems repeat as the nature of the flesh is the same. Are you forsaking Him and may not even be realizing it?

Jeremiah 2:13(AMP) For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, and they have hewn for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns which cannot hold water.
Many Christians today are gorging themselves over idols and many today have no ideal they are serving their own Baals. Many are misled to believe they have Grace to do and participate the things of the world.

Matthew 4:8-9(AMP) Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory (the splendor, magnificence, preeminence, and excellence) of them.9And he said to Him, These things, all taken together, I will give You, if You will prostrate Yourself before me and do homage and worship me.

Many have and are bowing down to Satan as the devil has given many of God's children their own little kingdoms of the world. And yet, many Christians continue to say, "What is so wrong with watching 4 hours of sports on Sunday? What is so wrong with listening to Usher or Lady Gaga? What is wrong with watching the Kardashians? What is so wrong with watching horrow films? What is so wrong with the bling bling? What is so wrong with video games of sorcery? What is so wrong with Harry Potter? What is so wrong with hip hop gangsta rap? What is so wrong with having a girlfriend or boyfriend and having sex when we love each other?

What is so wrong is that they continue to give glory to another instead of God. They continue to give God blemished sacrifices of one hour per week services and they know more about their movie stars, football stars, baseball stars, music stars, and Hollywood then they do about their KING! And most sadly, it is our Christian mainstream of so called Christian music radio and churches that would promote the world mingled with our God.

Jeremiah 2:22-27 (AMP)For though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, yet your iniquity and guilt are still [upon you; you are] spotted, dirty, and stained before Me, says the Lord.23 How can you say, I am not defiled; I have not gone after the Baals [other gods]? Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done. You are a restive young female camel [in the uncontrollable violence of her brute passion eagerly] running hither and thither,24Or [you have the untamed and reckless nature of] a wild donkey used to the desert, in her heat sniffing the wind [for the scent of a male]. In her mating season who can restrain her? No males seeking her need weary themselves; in her month they will find her [seeking them].25[Cease from your mad running after idols, from which you get nothing but bitter injury.] Keep your feet from being unshod and your throat from thirst. But you said, It is hopeless! For I have loved strangers and foreigners, and after them I will go.26As the thief is brought to shame when he is caught, so shall the house of Israel be brought to shame--they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets--27[Inasmuch as] they say to a tree, You are my father, and to a stone, You gave me birth. For they have turned their backs to Me and not their faces; but in the time of their trouble, they say, Arise [O Lord] and save us!

2 Chronicles 15:2(AMP) And he went out to meet Asa and said to him, Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him, craving Him as your soul's first necessity], He will be found by you; but if you [become indifferent and] forsake Him, He will forsake you.

Revised - Should spiritual gifts and power be used as a measurement to determine if we are on good terms with God?

This is a re post from November 21, 2010.

When we desire to learn the character of God, we must read the whole bible including the Old Testament. Many of us Christians do not read the Old Testament. When I had searched out the truth whether salvation was conditional or not, I read the Old Testament.

King Saul was God's appointed and first anointed king of Israel. But as most of you know, King Saul started to disobey God. As a result, God anointed David as king over Israel. Humans live in the present and when we receive an answer, we like to generally assume it is for the now. I am sure if God had anointed some of us as king today for some country, we would go looking to overthrow the current regime using the name of our Lord as leverage.

But David had to basically wait 17 years. David had the chance to kill Saul and take the throne. But (there is always a but) God allowed Saul to reign. Many see this story or passage and focus on David as the theme of the story line. They say that David was being trained since he was only a boy and had to wait, and so on and so on. This is true as well.

Let us look at Saul for a moment. King Saul is a king. King Saul has power to rule his kingdom. King Saul commands armies. Even though God had then rejected him as king, God allowed him to continue reigning for 17 more years. He continued reigning with his powers.

Today, if we hear that God had rejected anyone, we would assume the person to be zapped instantly. We think he should be zapped today, now, in fact this second! But this is not generally the case; therefore, we must learn the character of God as He is long suffering.

Now, let us take things in today's perspective. If we are the children of the Most High, we are today’s kingdoms and priests. As the children of the Most High, many of us are given special gifts or power. Some may be given tongue, prophesy, wisdom, extraordinary healing, word of knowledge, casting out demons, etc.

In our walk with the Lord, if we stumble, would our gifts or power be taken away? Would it be taken right away? What if sin crouched at our door and we entertained it just once? Would our gift or power be right taken away?

What if our gifts and/or power were not taken right away and when sin crouched at our door one more time and we decided just one more time to give in. Many Christians realize we can stumble and fall on our face but our gifts are not necessarily taken away right away. We cannot just then assume we are still on good terms with God. Do you see this point? We cannot use the continuation of our gifts or power as a measurement of our obedience to the Lord.

Whether we are preachers, elders, deacons, apostles, prophets, evangelist, teachers, or just a plain lay believer, we cannot assume just because someone has power or gifts that they are CURRENTLY on good terms with God. But I think we can assume they were at one point.

So how do we know if they are on good terms now? Always measure by their fruit and that main fruit must be love. It must not always be measured by their gift or power. But at the same token, the gifts and power can be important as well. Although power can be used to validate the person is of God but it can become corrupt.

Just as Saul, he was given power at the beginning. God spoke to him through the prophets. Then the power got to his head and he became disobedient and corrupted. His power had and was beginning to become corrupt.

Does this mean our spiritual gifts can become corrupt? Yes. Why did God allow Saul to operate as king for 17 more years? Many Israelites probably thought God was still with Saul since he was still king and thus they followed him. Therefore, we must be careful, just as Saul, we can be in rebellion and still have our spiritual powers operating. But just like king Saul, at the end, our corruption will finally catch up and it will destroy us and others who had followed us.

God is long suffering. God is graceful and merciful.  God allowed Saul 17 years to stay in power. He was still operating with his powers. His powers may represent the gifts we possess today.

We can have spirit filled Christians operating in their gifts but they may have become corrupted or deluded. God will not necessary take away their gifts right away for they are irrevocable. His grace is giving them time to repent. But if they do not repent, the gifts will become corrupted and that channel will be used by the devil for more deception.

And yes, David was being tested at the same time. When we ask for gifts or power, we must wait for our appointed time as well. David had God's heart. David loved Saul even though Saul tried to track him down and kill him.

Is there a King Saul type of person in your life trying to spiritually kill you? It is the Father's will that you pray for them and love them just as David loved King Saul. God was not only training David, He was giving King Saul 17 years to repent. I believe if King Saul had repented, David would have waited even longer for the throne. It was not about power but of love.  This is true love.

Are you able to wait 17 years for anything let alone one year? To God this time is only a thin vapor. We must all learn to wait and be still. And while you are waiting, ask for Wisdom, He gives it for free. As you receive spiritual gifts and power, you will need wisdom to operate them for His Glory and Kingdom.

Romans 11:29
Amplified Bible (AMP)
29For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]

Who do we think are the Lukewarm?

Many western churches may reschedule their water baptism or worship services around Super Bowl, NBA championships, or the likes. Or many Christians just don't go to church to watch sports instead. Who do they think is the Luke warm church? Do they really think the Luke warm churches are the ones in the other dangerous countries where they are beaten or martyred?

Revelation 3:15-18 (AMP)15 I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth!17 For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.(A)18 Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.

James 5:5 [Here] on earth you have abandoned yourselves to soft (prodigal) living and to [the pleasures of] self-indulgence and self-gratification. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.

Can a spirit filled Christian who hears God still be deceived? - REVISED

This is a re post from January 8. 2010. I have revised it and added some more thoughts as inspired by the Holy Spirit. I will use some analogies to help better understand this topic.

There is a family, it consist of a father, mother, and daughter. Their relationship is great. The father comes home during normal hours and is able to have dinner with his family. At the dinner table, they chat about what the daughter studied in school and about other things. The daughter is only 16 and she is still in high school. The relationship between the parents are good as well.

The relationship with the daughter and mother is excellent. In fact, they like to shop together, they like to discuss the things of life. They discuss the girlie talks of life. When the daughter spends time with the father, they discuss her future plans. They discuss the possible colleges to attend and her career options. Life seems great within this family. Everyone appears to be in good spirit. Trust, love, and sacrifice are the foundation of this family. At least so it appears.

However, when the weekend rolls along, when the parents are a sleep, the daughter sneaks out. The daughter has a secret boyfriend. While her parents are asleep, her daughter goes out and parties with her friends and her boyfriend.

The daughter believes she is hurting no one. The daughter believes she is not really doing anything bad. She believes this is all innocent fun. She knows if she is caught, her parents will be furious. However, as far as she is concerned, they are her parents and they will eventually forgive her. She knows the parents will eventually give her GRACE.

However, she does not understand the deception in which she is creating. On the surface, her relationship with her parents are great. But the daughter has a deceptive spirit. She is intentionally deceiving her parents.

She also does not understand the dangers of sneaking out. At her age, what is a boyfriend? To have fun? That fun will only lead to trouble. There is a chance of getting pregnant if they fornicate. There is a danger of someone taking advantage of her. There is also danger if alcohol or drugs are involved. Perhaps, a bad auto accident is in the waiting. There is a danger of life and death.

How can the parents get to her if they do not know what is going on? As far as the parents are concerned, everything appears great. How can the parents protect her if she is doing it behind their backs? How can the parents know?

Unlike the parents, God know everything. A spirit filled Christian may be in a good relationship with God just as the daughter is having with the parents. However, if there is sin or if the Christian is deceived, one may still be enjoying a relationship with God but God cannot communicate to you in the area where your heart has hardened. HE can speak to you in all the other areas and you can still hear Him but He is not able to get to the place where you have hardened your heart. You must place EVERYTHING down at His feet. You must SURRENDER EVERYTHING in which you are no longer ashamed of it!

What will God do to get your attention? He sends other messengers to you to give you a message in regards to that area of sin or deception. The sad dilemma is that many spirit filled Christians who are able to hear God will then let pride go to work and just as stiffed neck people have said before to Moses during Korah's rebellion....they will more or likely say, "The Lord is with me, I hear God as well!!"

Numbers 16:2-3 (Amp)2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the Israelites, 250 princes or leaders of the congregation called to the assembly, men well known and of distinction.3 And they gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, [Enough of you!] You take too much upon yourselves, seeing that all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you lift yourselves up above the assembly of the Lord?

But because they did not listen to Moses and had usurped his authority, they basically went against God even though they were God's children. And as a result, the land opened up and Korah and all his household of men went to Sheol alive!! Do you think they made it to heaven?

Numbers 16:28-34 And Moses said, By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I do not act of my own accord: 29If these men die the common death of all men or if [only] what happens to everyone happens to them, then the Lord has not sent me. 30But if the Lord causes a new thing [to happen], and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up, with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol (the place of the dead), then you shall understand that these men have provoked (spurned, despised) the Lord!31As soon as he stopped speaking, the ground under the offenders split apart 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and [Korah and] all [his] men and all their possessions.(A)  33They and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol (the place of the dead); and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly.34And all Israel who were round about them fled at their cry, for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

Communicating from the spirit realm to the physical appears to be very complex. It is difficult for the finite mind to understand. If I can use an example in attempt to describe what God revealed to me, let me use a coaxial cable. A coaxial cable has many tubes or channels to bring in feed to bring visual picture. If the coaxial cable is only getting 95% feed and there is a 5% tear, I believe, in most cases you will still get picture. It may not be crystal clear but you will get picture (or lets say a message). Imagine 20 years ago, who would have thought of digital or Blue Ray crystal clear picture was all about. You see, if you only get 95% picture and have never seen Blue Ray, we would tend to think the 95% is pretty good. So what is causing the 5% tear in communication? It is sin or deception! How can God talk to us in that 5% if there is sin in which we are not allowing the Holy Spirit to root it out. Those channels are blocked by sin. But we can still be hearing or watching the 95% of feed and if we do not know there is a 5% that can make it much better, we might just assume the 95% is good enough. Of course, this is all an analogy.

What if a spirit filled Christian ignored the message of God? After all, God may send messages throughout the years for He is long suffering. After time, the sin that the Christian allowed may bring judgment on him/herself and bring sickness (heart attack, cancer, etc). Will the Christian humble themselves and cry out to God for mercy during their sickness or assume it is part of the fallen world? Moses' people were only sick when they had rebelled! If I live in holiness and follow His commandments and commands, we can live above the fallen world for if we are born of God we are Overcomers!!

We must pray and ask God to remove any harden areas of our hearts. How do we know if there are any hardened areas? How do we know if we are deceived? How do we know if we are not being misled? How? We must ask Him to shine His light on the hardened areas of our lives. If you are ashamed or if you are hiding your past then you are holding on to your hurts or past. It has then become an idol. You must ask for help so God can set you free. We are to be transparent before God and men in which the enemy cannot use anything of your past or of yourself against you. You must put down all your earthly desires, personal will, hurt, bad experiences, and etc at His feet.

Therefore brethren, you must always walk in humility. Let Him INCREASE and you DECREASE! What are you protecting? Your pride? Your shame? Your past? Your hurts? The word "ME or I?" Get the focus OFF OF ME AND GET THE FOCUS BACK ON HIM.

Your whole life will be a test. God may send a donkey to give you a message. God may send the new believer from the back of the pew to give you a message. God may send His prophets to give you a message. God may send an unbeliever to give you a message. The question is, will you listen out of humility or ignore out of pride? The answer of course is to listen out of humility and then go ask God if that is a message from Him to you. Be blessed brothers/sisters.

Proverbs 10:27 The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord prolongs one's days, but the years of the wicked shall be made short.

Proverbs 15:10 There is severe discipline for him who forsakes God's way; and he who hates reproof will die [physically, morally, and spiritually].

Psalm 2:11 Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him]

Glory to God, for the Glory belongs to Him and Him alone

You will be persecuted if you follow uncompromised Truth

If you truly follow the uncompromised Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you will be persecuted. Many Christians think their persecution will come from the heathens and other religions. But if you look at the Life of Jesus and the Apostles, much of their persecution came from their own religious people. You must ask yourself, are you being persecuted or are you doing the persecution?

It is always those who do not have the Biblical Fear of God that would easily slander other Christians and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It is always the ones without the Fear of the Lord who also have NO Power who are the ones rejecting the power there of. It is always the ones who are living in sin participating with the world using grace and the cross as an excuse that rejects the instructions to live in Holiness.

Who are the religious? Who has a FORM OF PIETY? Are you the one being persecuted by the religious or are you doing the persecution by calling it the devil's work?

Those who FEAR God are not so quick to slander anyone for they know there are consequences to their words and actions. Even if someone was speaking heresy, those who Fear God would wait to be lead by the Holy Spirit and speak when allowed.

Even though Jesus died at the hands of the Romans, it was His people who basically instrumented the plot. Paul and the Apostles went to the synagogues to preach the Risen Christ. They were beaten and persecuted primarily by their own people.

Who are the religious?

2 Timothy 3:2-5 (AMP) For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. 5 FOR [although] THEY HOLD A FORM OF PIETY (true religion), THEY DENY AND REJECT AND ARE STRANGERS TO THE POWER OF IT [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].

2 Timothy 3:12 (AMP) Indeed all who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution [will be made to suffer because of their religious stand].

Who are those who will persecute you? They may be your family, your friends, and even your church members. History has proved that generally it will be those who you Love.

John 16:2 (AMP) They will put you out of (expel you from) the synagogues; but an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God.

Hold your ground brethren. Do not shrink back. Pass your tests and a day will come when He will answer your prayer as you ask in His Name. He will answer your prayers to save your family.

Do you have something to go back too?

When spiritual meat is preached, many will have to make a choice for they will realize the narrow road is getting narrower. What is spiritual meat today? What are the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit that may offend people today? When Jesus came the first time, He said "You must eat His Flesh and drink His Blood." Many could not handle this and it was His own people who had withdrew.

John 6:55-68 (AMP) For My flesh is true and genuine food, and My blood is true and genuine drink. 56 He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.57 Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me. 58 This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.59 He said these things in a synagogue while He was teaching at Capernaum.60 When His disciples heard this, many of them said, This is a hard and difficult and strange saying (an offensive and unbearable message). Who can stand to hear it? [Who can be expected to listen to such teaching?]61 But Jesus, knowing within Himself that His disciples were complaining and protesting and grumbling about it, said to them: Is this a stumbling block and an offense to you? [Does this upset and displease and shock and scandalize you?]62 What then [will be your reaction] if you should see the Son of Man ascending to [the place] where He was before?63 It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.64 But [still] some of you fail to believe and trust and have faith. For Jesus knew from the first who did not believe and had no faith and who would betray Him and be false to Him.65 And He said, This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.
66 After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him.67 Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?]68 Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life.

In verse 66, it states that many of His disciples drew back and no longer accompanied Him. In other words, they were His people who initially followed but then went back to their own comfortable lives following religion and not Him. Verse 68 illustrates Pete's reply. Peter and the other Apostles had given up everything. They had left everything and given their whole heart to Jesus. Where are they to go? When Jesus had initially come to them, they literally dropped everything and followed. Unless we are willing to give up everything, we may end up leaving the Lord because we have somewhere or something to go back too because the spiritual meat that is being given for us to eat is too much for us to handle.

Matthew 19:27 (AMP) Then Peter answered Him, saying, Behold, we have left [our] all and have become [a]Your disciples [sided with Your party and followed You]. What then shall we receive?

The Lord has revealed to me that the narrow road will only get narrower and those who are on it will become fewer. Put down all your flesh, earthly desires and your personal will and seek His ways for He is LIFE. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you on this matter. Ask Him to show you His Truth and put you in agreement with Him.

What does the word "World" mean to you?

The "World" or its system as you know it today belongs to Satan. You can think of the world as a prison and Satan is her warden. When we are born into this world, we are born slaves to sin. As you grow up and participate with the things of the world, all that has been taught to you and all that has been assimilated into you are of the world. It is a "Babylonian" type of system. Unless you have been born in a Christian family and disciple properly, many of us are still slaves to this "world". Today, born in a Christian family has little merit for many of those families expect the world and their religious churches to raise their children. Many of today's Western Christian families are busy like the world with little time for their families. And we wonder why our children are acting like the children of the world? It is sad when even our churches now have video games in their classes to "baby sit" our children.

When a person finds Jesus Christ and gets saved, he/she realizes there is something called freedom. He or she realizes that they were never meant to be in this "world" assimilated with its system and ways. Once the person finds Jesus, they are now on the run towards heaven. But even in this life, when a prisoner breaks out of prison, the warden and the guards come after him/her. They want him/her back! When you get freed by the Blood of Jesus and you are now heaven bound, until you actually make it home to Him safely in His arms, Satan will do whatever in his means to get you back! Satan becomes furious when he loses one from his prison. Whether through corruption, deception, or to get you off course, Satan will do everything in his power to return you back towards HELL.

While we were prisoners of Satan chained in his prison, we talked like the prisoners using foul languages, we gossiped and talked inappropriate things about the opposite sex, we watched the same television programs, we subscribed to the same tabloids and gossip magazines, we rallied our gladiators and their teams called NFL, NBA, and the likes, we glorified as other prisoners fought one another in games called "Mixed Martial Arts or MMA", we listened to the same prison music such as Lady Gaga, Beatles, Britney Spears, Usher, heavy metal, gangster rap and the likes, we worked and worked not for God's glory but to buy bigger things for our own glory and to build our own kingdoms.

It didn't matter how we dressed in prison, the ladies loved to show their cleavage and the men loved to look at that direction. As technology advanced, the prisoners were now able to have their time filled with hours of games in mock killing and shooting with all the realistic graphics of gore and guts. We were able to have our time filled in dreamland of sorcery and magic. When play time was over, we were able to continue on our phones with a new one called Farmville and the likes.

Instead of honoring a day which was set apart to keep His Day Holy, we started to do commerce and conjure up entertainment for ourselves on the Lord's Day.  Yes, we had other days but instead of taking care of our personal interest on those days, we worked and worked like cattle so we can look and feel better than all the other prisoners. Then we used the Lord's Day to serve our own personal interests. As prisoners, we liked to smoke, drink, and gamble. Some of the prisoners enjoyed getting high. Drugs are but counterfeit high from the real thing of getting high on God. Many prisoners did not care of their bodies; they would exchange themselves and sell their bodies. The price for their bodies was dinner, a movie, and a bottle of cognac or whiskey. But in these last days, there is no price for their bodies. The price has cheapened for the sake of "fun". The warden allows such acts and promotes it. Many prisoners are giving each other to the same sex. They do not care anymore. It is but more delusion on top of more delusion.

The sad reality is that as many have been set free by the Blood of Jesus but many are making a U turn back into the "world." Instead of focusing on the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, doing His Will, and striving for the prize of home, they reminisce like Lot's wife and they continue to look back. Many have become diluted and deceived into thinking they can run towards home during the day but when it becomes night, they sneak back into the prison to hang out with the prisoners and do what they used to do. Their pass word to sneak back into the prison at night is "grace."

2 Corinthians 6:14-18(AMP) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?16 What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.(A)17 So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor,(B)18 And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

What do Christians consider the "world"? Do they think just because they are not in jail they are not part of the world as the bible is referring? Do they think the "world" is defined as criminals, gangsters, prostitutes, pimps, communists, the Muslims, atheist, etc? When the bible says do not yoke yourself, Christians generally define that as one should not be marrying a non-professing Christian? They do not even realize it is the dung they are swimming in that they need to separating themselves from!!

Many people continue to ask me for help on how to get closer with God? What separates a person from God? It is SIN!! Just because you are not in jail and you are not a gangster, nor a pimp, a prostitute, a thief, a drunk (but modest drinker now perhaps), a joint smoker (but nicotine is defined as ok by the religious and world), a loose man/woman (but you may still be fornicating with someone (just one this time) who you say you love but you are still not married), and etc etc etc, you think you are apart from the world?

What business do Christians have of knowing more of Hollywood, the Kardashians, Oprah, the ridiculous reality shows, the personal lives of celebrities, which stars are dating which stars, who is divorcing who, etc etc etc? What business do those who say they Love Jesus have any business knowing more of the world than HIM?

If Hollywood, the Kardashians, Hugh Hefner, Oprah, reality shows, Usher, Lady Gaga, Madonna, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, NFL, Super Bowl, NBA, March Madness, Nascar, Major League Baseball, Olympics, capitalism, communism, socialism, entitlements, Television, Horror films, pornography, violent films, gangster films, night clubs, drinking, smoking, drugs, lying, stealing, cheating on your IRS form, lying on your time clock at work, taking office supplies from work, taking more than your required lunch or break time, and etc etc etc....if these things are trivial to you then you are not walking in the light.

Ephesians 5:3-8 (AMP)3 But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity [[a]of lustful, rich, wasteful living] or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among saints (God's consecrated people).4 Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].5 For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain]--for he [in effect] is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.6 Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience.7 So do not associate or be sharers with them.
8 For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light].

When Jesus came the first time, the call of REPENT did not go to the heathens. It initially went forth to His people. Jesus was telling His people to REPENT. Today, His return is near and the call is the same for His people. Repent and return to your first LOVE. Separate yourselves from the world!! The "World" and her system are going to collapse.

Revelation 18:3-4 (AMP)3For all nations have drunk the wine of her passionate unchastity, and the rulers and leaders of the earth have joined with her in committing fornication (idolatry), and the businessmen of the earth have become rich with the wealth of her excessive luxury and wantonness.4 I then heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out from her, my people, so that you may not share in her sins, NEITHER PARTICIPATE IN HER PLAGUES.

If you do not separate yourself from the world, you will participate in her plagues that are coming. Do not think Grace gives you a license to do what the world does. The world will receive her due wages. Why would you want to share in her wages?

Revelation 18:5-10(AMP) 5 For her iniquities (her crimes and transgressions) are piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her wickedness and [her] crimes [and calls them up for settlement    6 Repay to her what she herself has paid [to others] and double [her doom] in accordance with what she has done. Mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed [for others].7 To the degree that she glorified herself and reveled in her wantonness [living deliciously and luxuriously], to that measure impose on her torment and anguish and tears and mourning. Since in her heart she boasts, I am not a widow; as a queen [on a throne] I sit, and I shall never see suffering or experience sorrow. 8 So shall her plagues (afflictions, calamities) come thick upon her in a single day, pestilence and anguish and sorrow and famine; and she shall be utterly consumed (burned up with fire), for mighty is the Lord God Who judges her.9And the rulers and leaders of the earth who joined her in her immorality (idolatry) and luxuriated with her will weep and beat their breasts and lament over her when they see the smoke of her conflagration.10 They will stand a long way off, in terror of her torment, and they will cry, Woe and alas, the great city, the mighty city, Babylon! In one single hour how your doom (judgment) has overtaken you!

Come as you are but don't leave as you came.

Churches says come as you are. This is a good statement in itself. But why are the people leaving as they are? Grace is free and Jesus will accept you as you are. He will allow you to come to Him as you are. But He loves you too much to leave you as He found you. If you came to Him as a drug user, alcoholic, pot head, fornicator, adultery, and/or liar, etc, Do you think He will leave you as He found you?

Do we think Grace is there so He can leave us in such a horrible state? Are we going to say He will still forgive us when we continue to go back to where we came from?

Many churches have no power. People come for help and they leave in the same condition. Why in the world would GRACE give us the ability to freely SIN such as smoke, drink, fornicate, lie, cheat, cuss, not tithe properly, profane His Holy Day , listen to secular music like Lady gaga, Michael Jackson, open Sport's Illustrated swimsuit, or read the garbage in tabloids, etc, etc, etc?

Are many deceived Christians really saying that they can do just as the worldly people do but they get to go to heaven because they "believe"? The worldly people do everything I just mentioned. Many Christians do everything I just mentioned. The only difference. One group says, they have the freedom to do it because of Grace. One group, the unbelievers, do it because they do not see anything wrong with what they are doing.

The current Western Church is LUKEWARM and sleeping.

James 5:1-5 (AMP)1 COME NOW, you rich [people], weep aloud and lament over the miseries (the woes) that are surely coming upon you.2 Your abundant wealth has rotted and is ruined, and your [many] garments have become moth-eaten.3 Your gold and silver are completely rusted through, and their rust will be testimony against you and it will devour your flesh as if it were fire. You have heaped together treasure for the last days.4[But] look! [Here are] the wages that you have withheld by fraud from the laborers who have reaped your fields, crying out [for vengeance]; and the cries of the harvesters have come to the ears of the Lord of hosts. 5[HERE] ON EARTH YOU HAVE ABANDONED YOURSELVES TO SOFT (PRODIGAL) LIVING AND TO [THE PLEASURES OF] SELF INDULGENCE AND SELF GRATIFICATION. YOU HAVE FATTENED YOUR HEARTS IN A DAY OF SLAUGHTER.

Do we think James is talking to the heathens? No, He is talking to the believers.

1 Peter 1:14-17 (AMP)14[Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].15But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.

16For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.(A)

17And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short].

Beaten but refined through the Fire

Psalms 66:10-12 “For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.”

When God had opened my eyes to His Truth, that was the pivital moment when His refining process started for me. God utillizes other people and circumstances for our refinement. I was very excited when I realized what the calling God had instored for me. I was very excited but I did not know what was waiting ahead for me and the price that would be required.

God allowed many people to trample and come against us (Steve and I). It seemed the more we tried, the more we were trampled and mocked behind our backs. A few years ago, we were in business and we had spent our time and resources to help people and advance the Kingdom of God. We preached uncompromised TRUTH as the Lord taught us. It was to save their souls from ending up in hell. But many of them at the end betrayed us. Many people betrayed and back stabbed us which left me dispair and hurt. I personally did not want to continue in the calling/ministry that God had entrusted. I had laid on my stomach on the floor profusely crying to God. I told HIM, "I will not open my mouth to prophecy anymore. I will not reveal any more words for people." The scar was driven deep.

In that instant moment, God clearly spoke to me with His soft but STERN voice, "Repent and forgive them. Love them and pray for them."

I was shocked! I thought for certain the Lord would come to my side. But His first word was for me to repent. He did not tell me to go tell them to repent but He told me to repent. I had two choices. The first choice was to obey and the second choice was to defend myself and ask Him, "What did I do that was wrong?"

I did not hesitate. I repented in tears. If I had given a foothold to the hurts and wounds, there would have been a huge gap for the enemy to enter my body and build a stronghold.

God knew what was best for me. Whenever I would cry out to God because I was stressing out through the trials and they felt too much of a burden to bear, God would sternly rebuke me. "Are you suffering more than I had suffered? Are you higher than I? No one can experience more pain or suffering than I had to go through." I was not able to open my mouth anymore.

Isaiah 53
He was despised and rejected by men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth;
like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,

Who are we to complain?  Who are we to hold resentment or hurts inside of our hearts? If our King and Lord silently went through the suffering process, who are we to keep complaining? Let us learn from His humility. Our King was spat on, punched, whipped, and embarrassed in public (he wore nothing, completely naked in public). He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crucified and yet, He loved those who hung Him on the cross. He even prayed for them. He died for them.

People love to point their finger at other people for hurting or wounding them. But do we not realize it is God who has allowed the painful situation to materialize? Do we even realize it is God who is shinning His Light onto the dark ugly of our hearts to be exposed? Do we even realize in any given situation, it is really about looking at how we will react rather than how others react? Are we going to be thankful to the Lord for allowing such situations so we can learn what is hidden in our hearts and grow in Grace? If it hurts, our flesh is still kicking and flipping like a fish. It needs to DIE! Let God be God.

Job 5:17-19 "Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.”

Proverbs 17:3 “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests the hearts.”

I knew I was walking on the narrow road as I had to experience all that was painful. Obedience is learned through suffering. I knew I had to carry my cross all the time not just when I felt like it. Previously, I was a very sensitive and emotional girl who was easily hurt and offended. My husband took it much better than I did. Perhaps, we women are much more sensitive than the males. We are built different and therefore can compliment each other for our strength and weakness.

But unless the flesh and emotions are crucified on the cross and unless the flesh and emotions are dealt with, God would not have been able to use me on a greater scale. In order to go higher, we must go lower (decrease). Even after experiencing much betrayal and painful situations, God still continued to place me in challenging, painful, and wounding circumstances. At that time, I did not know God was intentionally numbing my sensitivities and emotions. He had to take all the impurities out of my flesh so that He could properly use me. He was beatening me into a beautiful sword. All our weakness has to be dealt with so that the enemy cannot use it against us.

As we walked and experienced the fierce trials which beat, mold, and refined us, our flesh screamed in pain. It felt many times as though we were suffocating. But in the end, all who go through such refinement will be rejoicing for it would all be worth it. We will become more like our Lord,  Jesus. All Christians must rid of “I” or “me” mentality. I am hurt, I am wounded, How about my feelings, How about my emotions, me, me, me…This is all junk that needs to go. It is not about I or me anymore. God had bought us with His precious blood it has to be ALL ABOUT Him NOW. This “I" mentality is also stealing God’s glory and we do not even realize that it redirects the focus back on us. So many Christians do not understand the meaning "to deny oneself carrying the cross."

Matthew 16:24-25 24Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [[a]cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].  25For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].

The worldly people have the mentality of retaliation,  “I’m going to get back at you!” This is a world mentality. But sadly, in these last days, Christians have the same mentality. Christians are being martyred and beaten by persecuting countries. To the world, martyred and persecuted Christians look “stupid." They ask,  'Why do they not fight back?'

Our course, they do not know our sufferings and endurance will bring forth much FRUIT and save many souls from entering HELL? We are suppose to be spiritual beings. Let us live and walk as spiritual beings growing in Grace and moving from Glory to Glory.

Luke 6:29 “To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also…”
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

1 Peter 4:1-2 “Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,”

The worldly people often go to court and fight. Why? Because they are trying to prove they are “right” and others are “wrong”. They will try to vindicate or prove themselves at any cost. This creates more pain and wounds. Such actions will complicate their circumstances. But do we know in these last days, many Christians are doing just as the world? Who is our vindicator? Many Christians are sitting on God's “throne”.

I want to describe a experience Steve and I went through. As many of you already know,  we had translated all 5 series of books for the “Baptize by blazing Fire” by Pastor Kim, Yong Doo. We translated out of obedience. We translated knowing that many will be saved through this book. Our intention was pure and innocent.

When Pastor Kim came to the revival in Los Angeles, California last year, few pastors and their followers attempted to slander our intentions due to their jealousy. They told Pastor Kim that the books were translated  religiously, rough, and too difficult to understand. They told Pastor Kim that our intention was to gain fame through his book. They told him that we had“used him”. God did not initially disclose the truth to Pastor Kim about our well intentions in translating the books and God allowed him to speak harshly at us. It was a test for us. God had allowed this event with Pastor Kim, Yong Doo to train us. Pastor Kim had initially believed the other pastor and their church. We were listening to his rebuke as I was crying inside. My husband does not fluently speak Korean so he did not really understand what was being said.

Nevertheless, I did not talk back or attempt to defend our position. In that instant moment, once again, God spoke to me. “Will you let Me vindicate you? Or are you going to be offended?” It was my test and God was observing how we would be handling this situation. I told the Lord, “Please vindicate us”. That was all I had to say. Only after one day had passed, Pastor Kim called us into his room. He said the Lord has something to say to us. The Lord used Pastor Kim’s own lips to prophesied to us.  I will not specifically disclose what the Lord had said, but the Lord vindicated us through Pastor Kim’s own mouth. Pastor Kim seemed surprised knowing that we did not use him in any way. This was after all our first contact with him meeting him and his wife. Our innocence were proven by our King. He is our vindicator. Jesus was complimenting us so gently. Jesus was cheering us up as He said He is very pleased with our work. Our God is awesome!!

Deuteronomy 32:36 “For the LORD will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants,...”

Dear brothers and sisters, our pride must die. Our selfishness must die. Our fleshly feelings and emotions must die. Our jealousy must die. Our competitive desires toward other servants of God must die. All our flesh must be crucified on the cross. Let God refine us and let Him make us into the beautiful sword. Without the beating process and without pain, we will NEVER be His beautiful weapon. Let us completely die and Let Our King live in us. Let our choices to be thrown out. Let our King be our Lord in every area. Let us be led by the Spirit then your flesh won’t have a chance.

God had taught us “Be quick to repent. Be quick to obey. Be quick to forgive.” He always reminds us “Do not be deceived, do not get corrupted, and do not fall away.” Let us learn His humility. Do not let your stubbornness fill your hearts otherwise your heart will become hardened. Let us always be open to corrections and chastisement. Let us always be teachable. When we humble ourself, we will hear God more clearly. We will always be tested to the end in regards to our humility. We will walk this narrow road knowing we can be wrong and be corrected? Or will our pride get us in the way to HIM?

Zechariah 13:9 “I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.'

Galatians 5:16
16But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
