In the Old days, the rebellious people of God would used their own religious formality as an excuse to continue in SIN. Today, the many rebellious people of God would use GRACE to teach once saved always saved (OSAS) as an excuse to continue living in SIN and to mingle with the world.

 It is even sadder because those who do not believe in OSAS are committing sin themselves. Many continue to run with the world. Many continue to sin with the world. Many of God's people continue to rebel and defile His temple.

Jeremiah 7:9-11 (AMP) Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known,10 And [then dare to] come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My [a]Name, and say, [By the discharge of this religious formality] WE ARE SET FREE!! -- ONLY TO GO ON WITH THIS WICKEDNESS AND THESE ABOMINATIONS? 11 Has this house, which is called by My Name, become a den of robbers in your eyes [a place of retreat for you between acts of violence]? Behold, I Myself have seen it, says the Lord.

Even today, many claim they are free. They are not set free from their bondage, sin, and chains of torment but they claim to be free.....free to do as the world does, free to sin as the world does, free to profane His Holy Day as the world does, free because they clam Jesus did it all for them. Does it make sense!!! Does it make sense that Jesus DIED so they can go on with their wickedness and abominations and grace allows it???? Many of the Old Testament saints had the same delusion just as in the days of Jeremiah. They thought they were set FREE to continue in their wickedness and still qualify for heaven.

Grace is there to set you literally free from SIN. Grace gives you the time and love to get things right with God. It does not give you the priviledge to think you are free to CONTINUE from where you came from in your old life.
