If you truly follow the uncompromised Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you will be persecuted. Many Christians think their persecution will come from the heathens and other religions. But if you look at the Life of Jesus and the Apostles, much of their persecution came from their own religious people. You must ask yourself, are you being persecuted or are you doing the persecution?
It is always those who do not have the Biblical Fear of God that would easily slander other Christians and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It is always the ones without the Fear of the Lord who also have NO Power who are the ones rejecting the power there of. It is always the ones who are living in sin participating with the world using grace and the cross as an excuse that rejects the instructions to live in Holiness.
Who are the religious? Who has a FORM OF PIETY? Are you the one being persecuted by the religious or are you doing the persecution by calling it the devil's work?
Those who FEAR God are not so quick to slander anyone for they know there are consequences to their words and actions. Even if someone was speaking heresy, those who Fear God would wait to be lead by the Holy Spirit and speak when allowed.
Even though Jesus died at the hands of the Romans, it was His people who basically instrumented the plot. Paul and the Apostles went to the synagogues to preach the Risen Christ. They were beaten and persecuted primarily by their own people.
Who are the religious?
2 Timothy 3:2-5 (AMP) For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. 5 FOR [although] THEY HOLD A FORM OF PIETY (true religion), THEY DENY AND REJECT AND ARE STRANGERS TO THE POWER OF IT [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].
2 Timothy 3:12 (AMP) Indeed all who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution [will be made to suffer because of their religious stand].
Who are those who will persecute you? They may be your family, your friends, and even your church members. History has proved that generally it will be those who you Love.
John 16:2 (AMP) They will put you out of (expel you from) the synagogues; but an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God.
Hold your ground brethren. Do not shrink back. Pass your tests and a day will come when He will answer your prayer as you ask in His Name. He will answer your prayers to save your family.

Thank you servant of GOD for this timely message for I can confess to you that this week a family relative turned against me in a fellowship and was saying all sort of things against me because I believe in repentance& holiness.they mock this message and say it as a sect.I was shocked because he is a respected leader in his church..but anyhow I give GOD all the glory who has given you this revelation!GLORY TO THE TRIUNE GOD!
