If I gave you a water bottle that stated 100% pure spring water, would you drink it? Yes, you would. But if I add a microscopic particle of RAW SEWAGE would you drink it? No? Why not? Can I not make an argument that it is so microscopic that you would not be able to see or taste it? Why not? That is right, you would not drink it. Then why would you expect God to accept what you consider a small Sin to you?
If you had the knowledge that a particle of Raw Sewage was in your water bottle, you would dare not drink the water, would you? Why? Can I not make the argument, "Well, if you are able to see it, just avoid it or pour it out."
No, you would still not drink it. Can I not say the 99.9999% of the other parts of water is still good? No. You and I will know the WHOLE BOTTLE IS DEFILED!
If we are NOT willing to drink such a defiled bottle of water, what makes us think or expect God to accept us when we defile ourselves with small incremental willful sin? There are too many Christians who are deceived into thinking that sin can be classified as small or large. They begin to define and create parameters of what they believe is allowed or not allowed. They begin to use their own understanding to define what is sin and what is not based on their environment and culture. For example, for some people, they come to conclude that if an action or thought does not hurt anyone, they then tend to define it as a small sin or no sin based on our own authority. However, it will still lead to death for such people continue to partake the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
It is the same concept when God asked Adam after the fall. "Who told you that you were naked?" God was basically asking Adam the question who gave him the authority to define that they were naked. Were they God to define whether they were naked or not. Who defines that?
Our physical state is a reflection of our spiritual state. When we SIN physically, are we not affected spiritually? Man will have to face the spiritual consequences of SIN in the after life. How we dress, how we talk, how we think, whether we mark our bodies or pierce holes in many places of our body is a reflection of our spiritual state. Many people in churches are in bondage to SIN. Sadly, they believe Grace will give them a pass to SIN.
If we continue to define some sin to be small or trivial, either way that sin will still DEFILE THE TEMPLE OF GOD. You are the Temple of God.
1 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP) 17 IF ANYONE [a]does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [[b]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [c]do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [[d]the believing church and its individual believers] are.
"IFANYONE" this statment means self as well. You do not own your own temple. You do not own your own body. Your body is not yours to do as you wish. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PUT SCRIPTURE VERSES ON YOUR BODY THINKING YOU ARE SHOWING GOD YOUR LOVE. If you loved the Lord, you would OBEY HIS COMMANDS as scripture defines.
1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (AMP) 15Do you not see and know that your bodies are members (bodily parts) of Christ (the Messiah)? Am I therefore to take the parts of Christ and make [them] parts of a prostitute? Never! Never!16Or do you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? The two, it is written, shall become one flesh.(A)17But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.18Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.19Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,20You were bought with a price [purchased with a [b]preciousness and paid for, [c]made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.
My wife and I attended a certain "pentecostal" type of church the other day. We could see so many people in bondage. Sadly, they are hungry but they do not know how to feed that hunger. They had a water baptism event and during the event some were yelling "Go Niners" because one of them was a Niner fan. Unbelievable!! It is very simple people. You must let the world and sin go. You must avoid all types of sin. You must repent of it and hate sin instead of compromising to it. You must keep yourself Holy for He is Holy. Repent and confess daily of your sins. Keep the 4th commandment Holy. If I tell you to give up Football and sports on Sunday, why is it so hard for so many? Yet, they rather live in bondage instead of total freedom over sports? Over nonsense and blue light special sales at the mall? Try it!!! Why will you not try it for a little while and see for yourself. Keep the 4th commandment HOLY. Keep your Sundays Holy unto the Lord. Do not run back to the world after an hour of church service. The Lord has revealed it to Pastor Kim, Yong Doo and His other servants around the world that we are to keep Sundays Holy and not to do commerce (spend money) on Sundays. This day is to be for HIM. The world continues to put holidays and sports events on our Lord's Day and after generations they become numb and hardened. We are suppose to be a separated people to show the world we are different and we are the Lord's! If Christians continue to break the 4th commandment, then on Judgment day, Matthew 7:21-23 may apply to you. It saddens me to hear people using their own authority to claim that only 9 out of the 10 commandments apply today. God does not change.
Matthew 7:21-23 (AMP)21Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.22Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].
Ask God to search your hearts and repent. Scripture says the TRUTH will set you FREE. The TRUTH has really set me Free for my family when we decided to walk in His commandments (especially the 4th commandment), live in holiness, separating ourselves from the world, and having a daily prayer life. My fruit and authority are in my messages with His Revelation and Wisdom to testify of what I speak. Many of you recognize His Holy Spirit inspiried messages and I ask you to strongly consider it and take it to prayer. You are all able to be where I am. I am but a lay believer with no training from the world or man but from the Holy Spirit Himself. WE all have the ability to walk in His Power as children of the Most High. We all have the ability to be LITERALLY FREE and living in True Peace.
Romans 6:23(AMP)23For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.
