I have Loved you with an Everlasting Love

Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP) The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

I will share some revelation a dear pastor has received and input it with some of what the Lord has been teaching me this season of His Everlasting Love. Many of us know the above scripture and many of us can read it. But the reaL question remains, are we with our finite minds and hearts able to understand the depth of "Everlasting Love?"

Exodus 32:30-33 The next day Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.31So Moses returned to the Lord, and said, Oh, these people have sinned a great sin and have made themselves gods of gold!32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin--and if not, blot me, I pray You, out of Your book which You have written! 33But the Lord said to Moses, Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him [not you] out of My book.

One of our pastors in California preached and said that he wanted to go to heaven as anybody else does. As he had studied those verses, he said he had marveled at the love Moses was showing for God's people. These were God's people who were complaining from the beginning and they complained coming out. Even after witnessing the Red Sea part, they had still rebelled against God and created a golden calf.

We as humans seem to have limited patience for one another. When our patience runs out, it is difficult for people to love and show mercy for one another. This is why we need the Spirit of God to give us the strength to overcome and persevere all things and to continue in Love. It would have been logical to think Moses had had enough with such people and perhaps agreed with God to destroy them and start over with Moses. The natural flesh reaction is to tell God, "Yeah! Go get them Lord! Give them what they deserve!" This is how the majority if not all would react when our patience has run out.

Exodus 32:9-10 (AMP)And the Lord said to Moses, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people;10Now therefore let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and that I may destroy them; but I will make of you a great nation.

The pastor who had preached on this subject said that the revelation he received was that God was speaking through Moses. It was God who was speaking. Moses said in verse 32 "Yet now, if You will forgive their sin--and if not, blot me, I pray You, out of Your book which You have written!"

As I pondered on this revelation, God was teaching us and attempting to illustrate the meaning of everlasting love. For those who may have a difficult time understanding what is being said, if you look at Exodus 7:1 God was using Moses as God.

Ex 7:1 " THE LORD said to Moses, Behold, I make you as God to Pharaoh [to declare My will and purpose to him]; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet."

Moses was a type of Christ. He was a foreshadow of Jesus Christ to come. Moses' whole personality and whole life prefigured Christ.

This is the type of heart God desires in all of us. He desires us to have His heart. He desires us to express and show His Love through us unto the nations, to the people of the world, and to each other. Apostle Paul had also possessed the Lord's heart.

Romans 9:1-3 1I AM speaking the truth in Christ. I am not lying; my conscience [enlightened and prompted] by the Holy Spirit bearing witness with me 2That I have bitter grief and incessant anguish in my heart.3For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off and banished from Christ for the sake of my brethren and instead of them, my natural kinsmen and my fellow countrymen.

The Greatest commandment is to Love God with the second greatest commandment to love our neighbors.

Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher, which [e]kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light--which are heavy?]37 And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.39And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.40These two commandments [f]sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.

John 13:34 (AMP) I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.

If you had a family member whether that be your spouse, children, brother, sister, mother, father, or relative dying on their death bed and they were NOT SAVED, HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD ASK GOD TO TAKE YOUR LIFE INSTEAD SO THEY WOULD HAVE MORE TIME TO FIND THE LORD? How many of you would even ponder on this question? Even if some would pondered, they would weight the pros and cons because if one is still in the flesh, one would be thinking of the business they just had opened, perhaps the promotion one just received at work, or desiring to finish their education, or perhaps wanting to witness and enjoy grandchildren, or perhaps they didn't get a chance to spend all the money they made or from their retirement accounts, and etc etc. Such people are not fully surrendered.

How many of us would have such everlasting love as Moses and Paul expressed willing to trade their seat in heaven for hell so that others would be saved. Moses would not have asked God to blot his name from the book of life if it was not impossible. We say we love the Lord and other people but do we possess His Heart to Love as He Loves? He has Loved us with an Everlasting LOVE!!! This Everlasting Love was shown as Jesus left the Highest throne to humble Himself and to come into the world on this season to be the savoir of the world. He came to trade His Life for ours.

Even if we could not trade our place in heaven, are we even able to ask the Lord to trade our earthly life for an unsaved soul who is on his/her death bed? But the Lord Loved us even as we were sinners. He Loved us even as His creation sent Him to the cross! He Loved us first! Yes, He is Worthy to be Praised!!

Romans 5:7-8 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.8But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

Am I asking you brethren to go ask God to trade your lives for unsaved souls or even saved souls who are on their death beds? No, I am asking you to live your life following HIM as if that possibility is in your heart!! Live your life as you said you BELIEVE unto HIM! Ask for His Heart and possess His Heart and have His whole personality in your hearts and instead of spending frivolous time with the careless fading things of the world, pray for each other, your family members, and unsaved people unceasingly with all your heart and strength. Time is short. We will answer for the time and the grace given to us. Fast and pray for one another with an everlasting Love because tomorrow may be the last day for someone.

Matthew 10:38-39 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [[o]cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.39 Whoever finds his [[p]lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].

Unless you possess the Fruit of the Holy Spirit, you will not inherit the Kingdom of God. He has told us this. I speak the Fruit of the Holy Spirit over you!!

Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP)But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge].

I speak the Seven Fold of the Holy Spirit over you!

Isaiah 11:2 (AMP) And the (1)Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him--the (2) Spirit of wisdom and (3) understanding, the Spirit of (4) counsel and (5) might, the(6) Spirit of knowledge and of the (7)reverential and obedient fear of the Lord--

I SPEAK HIS EVERLASTING LOVE AND JOY OVER YOU. MAY YOU BE FILLED OVERFLOWING WITH HIM IN THIS SEASON IN WHICH HE CAME TO BE BORN FOR YOU.
