We have heard much word coming out that God is and about to separate the wheat and tare, the sheep and goats. Let us take a look at a few scriptures.
Matthew 13:24-30 (Amplified Bible)24Another parable He set forth before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. 26So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also. 27And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it? 28He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? 29But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it. 30Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.
Matthew 13:38-40 (Amplified Bible)38The field is the world, and the good seed means the children of the kingdom; the darnel is the children of the evil one, 39And the enemy who sowed it is the devil. The harvest is the close and consummation of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40Just as the darnel (weeds resembling wheat) is gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the close of the age.
Matthew 25:33 (Amplified Bible)
33And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.
Matthew 25:41-46 (Amplified Bible)41Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! 42For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, 3I was a stranger and you did not welcome Me and entertain Me, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me [a]with help and ministering care. 44Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? 45And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least [[b]in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me.(A) 46Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.(B)
When we hear that the Lord is or going to separate the wheat and tare, we picture in our mind a literal separation which is true. I intially pictured it as Matthew 25:33, "And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left."
Let us first understand and define a darenel or tare.
"darnel - weedy annual grass often occurs in grainfields and other cultivated land; seeds sometimes considered poisonous"
"Lolium temulentum, typically known as darnel or cockle, is an annual plant that forms part of the Poaceae family and part of the Lolium genus. The plant stem can grow up to 1 meter tall, with inflorescence in the ears and purple grain. It grows plentifully in Syria and Israel.
It usually grows in the same production zones as wheat and is considered a weed. The similarity between these two plants is so extensive that in some regions cockle is referred to as false wheat. It bears a close resemblance to wheat until the ear appears. The ears on the real wheat are so heavy that it makes the entire plant droop downward, but L. temulentum, whose ears are light, stands up straight. The wheat will also appear brown when ripe, whereas the darnel is black. When the Lolium matures, the spikelets turn edge ways to the rachis where the wheat spikelets remain as they grew previously.It parasitizes wheat fields. The French word for darnel is "ivraie" (from Latin ebriacus, 'intoxicated'), which expresses that weed's characteristic of making one feel poisoned with drunkenness, and can cause death. In Matthew 13:24-30, the Lord ordered the reapers to wait until harvest time because it may harm the wheat. This is because the wheat and darnel looked similar. The darnel is a false wheat. The Lord said to wait. When both have grown to maturity or spiritual maturity, you will know the FRUIT! You will know when it ripes whether it will be brown or black. You will know as a wheat is humbled and broken into submission as the "entire planet droop downward." You will know the darnel as it stands up straight in pride!!
In Matthew 25:41-46, the Lord tells the goats on the left to depart from HIM. He said, I was hungry and you gave ME no food. HE said, I was thirsty and you gave ME no drink. He said, I was a stranger and you did not welcome ME! WHO DO YOU THINK HE IS TALKING TOO!!! He is talking to the one sitting in the pew who will vainly say, "I love you" but will not lift a finger for the other people around him. He is talking to the one sitting in the pew who will not give a ride to the person he sees walking home after church in the cold snow!! He is talking to the one sitting in the pew who will not give out of his abundance to the one who lacks! He is talking to the one who wants to rush home to watch a football game instead of listening to a person who needs a friend! HE IS TALKING TO THE ONES WHO PROFESSES TO KNOW HIM!! HE IS NOT TALKING TO THE UNBLIEVERS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE WHEAT OR PROFESSES TO BE A WHEAT.
How will the separation occur in the physical realm? Even in FACEBOOK land, everyone claims to be a wheat, do they not? Everyone claims to be saved and a "Christian." How will separation takes place? When milk is fed, all the baby sheep and baby goats come to feed and they all get along. They are well fed and they all mingle without a fuss. How will you separate the sheep and goat? How will you separate the wheat and tare? Because when milk is fed, they all come running together and they all appear content.
In the spiritual realm, the angels are preparing and separating. In the physcial realm, THE SEPARATION OCCURS WHEN SPIRITUAL MEAT IS FED!!!! When we are beyond the elementary teachings and move on to MEAT. When we start to discuss ETERNAL JUDGMENT AND PUNISHMENT, HEAVEN, HELL, SALVATION, KEEPING THE 4TH COMMANDMENT (SUNDAYS, NOW THE LORD'S DAY), TITHING AND SO FORTH.
You see, a tare can still become a wheat. But sadly, a wheat can end up becoming a tare. A wheat can possess many gifts of God during their growth but end up a tare for the fruit can become corrupt. A tare can become a wheat because the love of other wheat has shined the Lord's light. It is at the end when it counts. It is at the end when the labor has paid off. It is at the end which is harvest time. It is at the end when either the LORD comes for you or you go first. Where will your heart be?.
THE FINAL SEPARATION WILL OCCUR WHEN THE WORLD FACES DIFFICULT DARK DAYS. THAT IS WHEN YOUR FAITH WILL BE TESTED. THAT IS WHEN YOUR WORDS OF "I LOVE YOU LORD" WILL BE TESTED.
It is easy to say "I LOVE YOU" to anyone or even to God in your comfort. How about in your pain or lack? Will you still praise HIM? Do you not know we will ALL BE TESTED during our life? OBEY NOW so you will not lack when the world lacks.
How do you know you will not betray the Lord? How do you know you will not be led astray? How do you know the gifts and power the Lord gives you will not go corrupt? How do you know you will not fall away? How do you know you are not one of the many the Lord said will fall away?
He told us in prayer as HE GRIEVED that many will perish and fall away!! If you are so sure, then why must we be tested? You see, your whole life is a test. A test to OBEY! Why? Because to OBEY is to LOVE HIM.
John 14:15 (Amplified Bible)
15If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
Job was tested and during his test, all were tested around him. Job's wife had failed the test. When difficulties came, she cursed God and wanted to die. What she had said to Job was what was in her heart.
Therefore, OBEY NOW! OBEY NOW! Humble yourself and turn from your worldy ways. The world is corrupt and will pass away. Hold on to HIM. YOU MUST HOLD ON TO HIM CLINGING FOR DEAR LIFE. Crucify your FLESH NOW before it appears when times are difficult as it appeared with Job's wife. CRUCIFY IT NOW WHILE YOU HAVE TIME IN YOUR COMFORT!
Pray and pray so when God speaks, you will recognize His voice when Spiritual meat is given. Pray and Pray.
John 8:31-32 (Amplified Bible)
31So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. 32And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
Even during Jesus' time, there were tares and goats and they were from HIS PEOPLE!!
John 8:37-48 (Amplified Bible)
37[Yes] I know that you are Abraham's offspring; yet you plan to kill Me, because My word has no entrance (makes no progress, does not find any place) in you. 38I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father's side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father. 39They retorted, Abraham is our father. Jesus said, If you were [truly] Abraham's children, then you would do the works of Abraham [follow his example, do as Abraham did]. 40But now [instead] you are wanting and seeking to kill Me, a Man Who has told you the truth which I have heard from God. This is not the way Abraham acted. 41You are doing the works of your [own] father. They said to Him, We are not illegitimate children and born out of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me and respect Me and welcome Me gladly, for I proceeded (came forth) from God [out of His very presence]. I did not even come on My own authority or of My own accord (as self-appointed); but He sent Me. 43Why do you misunderstand what I say? It is because you are unable to hear what I am saying. [You cannot bear to listen to My message; your ears are shut to My teaching.] 44You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.45But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [do not trust Me, do not rely on Me, or adhere to Me].
46Who of you convicts Me of wrongdoing or finds Me guilty of sin? Then if I speak truth, why do you not believe Me [trust Me, rely on, and adhere to Me]? 47Whoever is of God listens to God. [Those who belong to God hear the words of God.] This is the reason that you do not listen [to those words, to Me]: because you do not belong to God and are not of God or in harmony with Him. 48The Jews answered Him, Are we not right when we say You are a Samaritan and that You have a demon [that You are under the power of an evil spirit]?
You can exhibit all the spiritual gifts and even prophecy but if you do not keep His Commandments and walk in Righteousness, at the end of the day, you will be declared a false prophet and He will say, "Depart from Me! You who act wickedly disregarding My commands!"
Matthew 7:21-23(AMP)21Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.22Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].
Evaluate yourselves and know you must continue to always abide in HIM to find LIFE. You must endure to the end!!!!!
Matthew 24:13 (Amplified Bible) But he who endures to the end will be saved.
