For they preach, but do not practice

Matthew 23:1-3(AMP)THEN JESUS said to the multitudes and to His disciples,2The scribes and Pharisees sit on Moses' seat [of authority].3So observe and practice all they tell you; but do not do what they do, for they preach, but do not practice.

Until recently, this verse had not deeply impacted me nor did I understand the severity of how it applies to so many Churches and Christians today.

So many from the pulpits and SO MANY CHRISTIANS in general will preach and tell others what to do right but they themselves do not do what they preach.

When you start reading this chapter, it is not just for the preachers or leaders of the churches. It is for ALL CHRISTIANS and especially the Christians in here on Facebook. God had already told me that many in here are not who they claim to be as they preach and quote His Word. It does not collaborate with their actions and lives.

Lord, grant more mercy and grace towards your people who are mostly stiffed neck. Please show more Grace. We need more Grace. We need more mercy. We need your Spirit to open our eyes to what we do not realize we are doing. For so many of your people are Forsaking You as it is evident as our enemies around us grows stronger and as they plan against this nation. Lord, pour down your Spirit and Light onto the eyes and ears of our hearts so they may be opened. May we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways and seek you with ALL our hearts so our land may be healed. May our hearts be Fully circumcised.
