When is our eye clear or good?

Luke 11:34-35 AMP The eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive, focused on God], your whole body also is full of light benefiting from God’s precepts. 35 But when it is bad [spiritually blind], your body also is full of darkness [devoid of God’s word]. Be careful, therefore, that the light that is in you is not darkness.
The amplified makes these scriptures more clear. Our eyes are clear or good when we are Focused on God. As we put God, His Will, His Desires first above our own, our eyes will be clear and good. The first commandment reads,
"You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.”
Exodus 20:3 AMP
We all know that we cannot have any other gods before Him. However, many Christians fail to realize they have made gods besides Him. When we put other things (idols) before or besides Him, we become spiritual blind. When HE is our everything then as His light fills our bodies and the light that fills our bodies will give us light to see with our eyes. We will be able to spiritually see as we discern and see properly.
Many cannot see what I see because they have yet to grow to more maturity. How do we grow to more maturity? Children need to let go of their toys and grow up. Christians need to let the things of the world go for they have put them before or besides our God. Many Christians need to forgive, let hurt go, repent properly, stop getting jealous or angry, and die to themselves. Such sins are idols before or besides our God. When they let go and turn fully to Him, they will begin to see with proper spiritual perspective.
"Your Whole body also is full of light benefiting from God’s precepts."
Our whole body becomes full of light from what benefit? God's precepts are His commandments and rules. When we properly Obey in all areas, then His light will fill our bodies and the veil is removed so that we may see clearly and good as we move from glory to glory coming to the fullness of our God. We will be moving forward closer to Home.
