Saved by Grace

In this physical world, one must work to earn money. Why do we need money? We need money to pay our bills. We need money to buy food. We need money to survive. Many save up their money for rainy days. Many save or earn to go to college thinking an education will feed them. Who or what feeds and provides for us, an education or God? What if some extraordinary event occurs? It would have been wise to have some money saved up to weather out the storms. If you lose a job and if you had not saved up any money and you are not able to find a job quickly, everything would be at stake. Perhaps, you would end up losing your home, car, and even family. Your foundation would have been built on sand or straw with no solid footing.

Romans 6:23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.

What about sin? The bible says the wages which sin pays is death. When we sin with our eyes, thoughts, or with our bodies, we accumulate this sin and at the end it will total death. Our paycheck will be death. When we are out of God's will, we are accumulating these wages. When we are not obeying God, we earn wages of totaling death. You may be saved but what are you accumulating? Are you practicing sin or moving forward in faith? The bible says only those who do the Will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of God. You may be saved and covered by the Blood of Jesus but have you left Egypt? The Blood of the Lamb had covered the door post in Egypt as the angel of death passed by but God's people were required to leave to the promise land. If they had stayed in Egypt, they would have not completed their salvation. Yes, you are saved but you are still being saved. Yes, we are to head to perfection!

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:

1 John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.

People say they are not perfect and cannot overcome sin. Yet, the bible says we can do all through Christ who strengthens me. If we say we cannot overcome when the bible says those who are born of God will overcome, then we call God a liar and it is us who is in darkness. Yes, the camel can go through the eye of the needle for all things are possible with God. Therefore, call unto to HIM, call unto HIS NAME and HE will show you great and unsearchable things that you do not know! His Grace is there now to bring us to maturity and perfection as the Kingdom of God is at hand.

What about life? Do we earn life? What does the bible say? NO, we do not earn any wages to be saved. NO, we cannot save ourselves. NO, we are saved by HIS GRACE. It is a FREE GIFT of GOD to eternal life. It is a free gift. Does this mean we just accept what HE has done and sit on the couch watching TV or news waiting for HIM while going to church once in awhile and only praying over your meals? NO, we are to stir up the gifts to bear lasting fruit for the Father. HE has chosen us for life and to bear fruit and keep on bearing fruit and as our fruit lasts, HE will give you whatever we ask in HIS NAME!

John 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you.

HE has given us spiritual gifts,. He has commanded us to be HIS disciples. HE has commanded us to pick up our own crosses and follow HIM. HE has commanded us to share in HIS suffering. HE has commanded us to persevere and endure. HE has commanded us to die unto ourselves so that we may experience HIS RESURRECTION LIFE!

As a baby Christian, we are to ask and receive His spiritual gifts such as to speak in tongue, prophesy, Word, worship, faith, and etc. If you have the gift to speak in tongue, why are you NOT accumulating your prayers? What will you do when difficult days comes to you either personally or for the world, would you have accumulated your prayers? The world saves up money or a nation prepares an army for war for difficult days, why are we not preparing for the greatest spiritual war coming? Where is your accumulated prayers? Where is your accumulated reading? Where is your accumulated worship? Will you be able to stand on that Day? Or will you be caught Naked?

Many worldly and even Christians work very long hours to save and buy their dream homes and retirement (security). In the book of Haggai, God rebukes His people for being so concerned about their own homes yet leaves HIS temple in ruins. Many of His people work so hard for "Egypt (world)" to buy their nice homes, cars, clothes, etc. Yes, those things are not necessary bad as long as they are not your idols. BUT what about the Temple of God? The Temple of God is in you. It is your heart. God said to clean up the inside of the cup first! Your hearts are defiled with idols and His Temple is in ruins. Why has His people been so busy accumulating money or worldly materials rather than having their faith credited as righteousness? Then what is more wiser? To save up money or save up for the eternal hope? We have been commanded to pray, read, worship, and seek the eternal things. What is to be counted as righteousness? In the book of Deuteronomy, to be counted as righteousness is to obey. Are you obeying? Are you obeying based on His terms? Faith is when you obey His commands trusting HIM moving forward by HIS Grace in which you cannot boast of your own works or choices. All choices and your actions are His. By Grace you have been saved by HIM.

Romans 4:5 (AMP) But to one who, not working [by the Law], trusts (believes fully) in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (the standing acceptable to God).

Yes, many consider HIM Savior but many have yet to consider HIM their LORD and MASTER. Therefore, you must give up your choice. This choice is to give up all your future choices to HIM. May our choices be HIS choices and may our decisions be HIS Decisions.
