Break bread on the first day

We are no longer under the Sabbath in terms of the the seventh day. The 4th commandment is now the Lord's Day which is the eighth day or now on our first day of the week. If you are still worshiping on Saturday, you are still in a way putting yourself back under the "law." The seventh day represented "law" and now the eighth day represents grace and spirit.

Acts 20:7 And on the first day of the week, when we were assembled together to break bread [ the Lord’s Supper], Paul discoursed with them, intending to leave the next morning; and he kept on with his message until midnight.

The Lord is the Bread of Life. On the first day of the week, it was not just breaking bread to physically eat but it was to break spiritual bread. It was to open the Word of God and eat of HIM. Do you not see this brethren? We break the Word open on the first day of the week.

1 Corinthians 16:2 On the first [day] of each week, let each one of you [personally] put aside something and save it up as he has prospered [in proportion to what he is given], so that no collections will need to be taken after I come.

Paul is saying here on the first day of EACH WEEK. He did not say this one particular first day but each week to set aside. If they were still meeting on the seventh day as the Sabbath, why are they again meeting on the first day of each week?

The first day of the week is Resurrection Day. The first day of the week was the day of Pentecost. The first day of the week is the day of the feast of First Firsts. The first day or eighth day, the number eight means a new beginning. The number eight is the number of garments the priest had. A boy was circumcised on the eighth day. The eighth day represents the next millennium.

The first day or the eighth day of the week is the day we celebrate HIM now for it represents Life as it is the day He was resurrected. But you are to still keep this day HOLY for it is now the Lord's Day.

Hebrews 4:4-7 (AMP) For in a certain place He has said this about the seventh day: And God rested on the seventh day from all His works.5 And [they forfeited their part in it, for] in this [passage] He said, They shall not enter My rest.6 Seeing then that the promise remains over [from past times] for some to enter that rest, and that those who formerly were given the good news about it and the opportunity, failed to appropriate it and did not enter because of disobedience,7 Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.
