Branch or Tendril?
John
15:5-10 (AMP) I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me
and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut
off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.6 If a person does not
dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers;
such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are
burned.7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words
remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you
will, and it shall be done for you. 8 When you bear (produce) much
fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove
yourselves to be true followers of Mine.9 I have loved you, [just] as
the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [[a]continue in His love with
Me].10 If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My
instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I
have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love.
Jeremiah 5:10 "Go up within [Jerusalem’s] walls and destroy [her vines],
but do not make a full and complete end. Trim away the TENDRILS [of her
vines], for they are not the Lord’s."
Tendril/ˈtendrəl/ "A
slender threadlike appendage of a climbing plant, often growing in a
spiral form, that stretches out and twines around any
suitable...Something resembling a plant tendril, esp. a slender curl or
ringlet of hair."
Are you a branch bearing fruit or are you a
tendril? There are many tendrils in our churches and within the Body of
Christ. There are many branches that are not producing any fruit
either. Use this time of Grace to make a choice to continue dwelling in
HIM moving forward. Did Jesus ever say it would be easy to follow HIM?
The reward or blessing for having His Word remain in us and continue to
live in our hearts is that in whatever we ask, it shall be done for us.
Let us continue to examine our hearts asking the Holy Spirit to search
our hearts so that we are not deceived thinking we are branches bearing
fruit when in fact some may be TENDRILS! Lord, have mercy on those who
are blind. May you put your salve on our eyes so we may perceive. May
you put your salve on our ears so we may understand. May our hearts be
willing to be fully circumcised!
May you all persevere and endure in all that are required for HIS Glory.

The test is to the end!
John 13:27(AMP) Then after [he had taken] the bit of food, Satan
entered into and took possession of [Judas]. Jesus said to him, What you
are going to do, do [a]more swiftly than you seem to intend and [b]make
quick work of it.
Satan had entered into Judas. Do not think demons cannot enter into God's people. Jesus was casting demons out from among His people. Judas Iscariot was a Jew. He represented one of God's people. Demons can enter into Christians. Today, many Christians are in bondage to the demons.
And do not think you cannot lose your salvation. Judas was one of the twelve original apostles who was given authority to cast demons out. Judas had fellowship with the Lord. He participated and experienced what the other apostles had participated and experienced.
The test is to the end!
2 Timothy 2:12(AMP)If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us.
Titus 1:16 (AMP) They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but DENY AND DISOWN AND RENOUNCE HIM BY WHAT THEY DO; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.
Matthew 24:13 (AMP) But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Go Possess the Land!
Many believe the churches are deceived and they say we must leave
them. In fact, some say they are receiving a Word from God that they are
to leave the churches. Sadly, such people who claim to receive such
messages are telling everyone else as well to leave their churches. If such a
person is so confident in their message, why do they need to tell
everyone else to join them.
The world is deceived but are we to leave the world? I do not see Christians trying to build space ships to leave this world. I do not see massive Christians moving into the mountains to live in caves in attempt to separate themselves from the world. Most Christians do not tell other Christians to leave the lust of the world but they would tell them to leave their churches?
Where do we think the WAR IS AT? The War is in our churches!! Those born of God will Overcome! We do not quit. We do not leave our brethren behind. We do not run away. We come to TAKE BACK AND REPOSSESS WHAT IS GOD'S! You leave only when the Holy Spirit tells you to leave and you go where He tells you to go but most Christians if not all of them do NOT have the authority to tell others to leave their churches.
When Jesus walked in the flesh, He did not tell His people to leave the synagogues. In fact, He went into the synagogues to preach. He was mocked. He was ridiculed. He was persecuted but that did not stop HIM. He went even unto death. The apostles after the resurrection went into the synagogues of other regions, areas, and countries to preach Christ. They were persecuted, beat, and stoned. Did they get resentful and angry? Did they start telling the people not to go to the synagogues anymore? Did they get angry at the Pharisees because they were rejected by them? They were led by the Holy Spirit and they spoke what the Holy Spirit told them to speak. Everything they had done was allowed within the scope of their authority. The apostles, however, did not dare to usurp God's authority in his synagogues.
When Jesus had healed the man with leprosy, what was the Lord's instructions to him?
Matthew 8:1-4 When Jesus came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him.2 And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to [a]cleanse me by curing me.3 And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed [b]by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.4 And Jesus said to him, See that you tell nothing about this to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, for a testimony [to your healing] and as an evidence to the people.
Jesus commanded the man to go to the priest and to present the offering Moses commanded as a testimony and evidence to the people!! The WAR is for the churches!! The War is in the churches!! The War is not in the baseball, football, or soccer stadium holding a "John 3:16" sign. I am not saying holding such a sign is wrong but all the people in the stadiums are showing that they are putting the world first as they rather be in a stadium than at church worshiping God on Sundays. They rather give glory to men chasing after each other for a pig skin ball rather than their creator.
If one has a higher revelation than their pastor and/or if the pastor is in error, then it is the person's job to intercede on behalf of the pastor and their church. The person with the higher revelation cannot rebel or come against the pastor who may be in error. Such a person cannot just leave their church out of arrogance or anger. He/she cannot tell others to join them or tell them to leave either. This is NOT God's way. God's way is through patience, love, prayer, and sacrifice. We are to show Truth through our actions of kindness, love, sacrifice, and prayer. If we are to leave, it must be at the lead and direction of the Holy Spirit.
It is NOT God's voice or His Ways in which He would tell people to start bouncing around churches until the perfect one is found. It is NOT God's voice or His ways to tell someone to tell others to leave their churches. God's ways is for us to persevere and endure in prayer and love. God's way is for us to sacrifice ourselves as Jesus did so others may see His love and Truth.
In our journey with the Lord, my wife and I were told by HIM to leave a particular church. There was another time in which God told us that it was time to stop going for we were about to be in another season and area. But we did NOT tell the congregation in those churches to leave. We do NOT have that authority to be telling people to leave their churches. Each person must be lead by the Holy Spirit. We are not to be copying others. A word for them may not be a word for us.
Which ever church you may be attending, your job is to intercede for your pastor, leaders, and the congregation. If we have a higher revelation and we know there is error, it is our job to intercede in prayer! How many are actually praying besides complaining and complaining of the shortcomings?
Many Christians act like the people of the world. The world wants it all for free or a discount. The world has no patience and is selfish and demanding. Instead of filling a need to serve, we rather be served and complaining at the same time. We complain but yet we do not utilize the greatest weapons we have at our disposal which are prayer, the Word, the Blood of Jesus, and His FIRE! We rather watch four hours of sports or soaps defiling our minds rather than serve even one hour for our church. We look and seek recreational activities rather than praying for the souls of our families, friends, and brethren.
We are proving to be quitters and complainers rather than conquerors and overcomers. If we see our churches in need, we should be diligently praying on their behalf. We need to be diligently praying for our pastors, deacons, elders, teachers, prophets, apostles, and evangelist. We need to PRAY SO THAT WE MAY REPOSSESS THE LAND THAT THE ENEMY HAS STOLEN THROUGH OUR SIN. Where is our hunger and attitude to serve the LORD even unto death. Where is His people who say they Love HIM but are on vacation every weekend or wasting hours watching nonsense TV?
Who will stand with the Lord to lose their life if necessary to do the Father's Will? Where is His people who will start a prayer rally for their own land (churches)? Where are those who are like Aaron and Hur who held up Moses arms to defeat their enemy? Where are His people who are spiritually holding up the arms of your pastors or leaders through prayer so the enemy does not gain more ground? Take back what the locust have eaten! We have been given the keys to the Kingdom. What we bind on earth, we bind in the heavens. What we loose, we loose in the heavens.
Matthew 16:19 (AMP) I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth [a]must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth [b]must be what is already loosed in heaven.
There will be NO EXCUSE! He takes NO PLEASURE with those who shrinks back! His people do not give the land back to the enemy. His people do not run from the enemy! His people do not quit! HIS PEOPLE COME TO TAKE THE LAND AND POSSESS IT UNTIL THE LORD'S RETURN!!!

Made in His image
Genesis 1:26-27 (AMP) God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
"Man" was created in God's own image and likeness. We were created for His Glory.
In the Old Testament, God gave specific instructions on building the temple. The high priest could only enter on the Day of Atonement. He had to go through a rigorous preparation before entering. If the priest had not followed the precise instructions, it would mean possible death.
No one would dare paint words such as "I love God! or God is Great!" on the walls of His Temple. Someone who could have done such actions could have argued that he did it for the right reasons and what was in his heart but nevertheless it was forbidden. If we love God, we would OBEY His instructions. We would not need to paint it on walls of His Temple. If they had spray paint in those days, how would it looked if someone had sprayed painted the Temple even if it were words that honored God. How would it had looked? It would have looked bad and the person who had sprayed painted the walls would had probably gotten stoned.
Where is the Temple of God now? Today, the Temple of God is in us. God resides in the hearts of men.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (AMP)Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own, 20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a [a]preciousness and paid for, [b]made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.
Is God's creation of man deficient or lacking that many of His own people must put permanent marks or abnormal piercing just as the world does to glorify their own bodies? Why are we adding permanent markings and such onto ourselves in which HE made in His image and likeness?
For those who have made this mistake, you have grace to repent. But Grace is NOT there so we can go ahead and spray paint His Temple even if they are words that honor HIM. Our bodies are not our own anymore. We were bought at the most highest price of all of creation and heavens.
1 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP) If anyone [a]does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it [[b]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [c]do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [[d]the believing church and its individual believers] are.
The word "anyone' in verse 3 includes the person looking in the mirror. God requires holiness from His people. God desires us to show how much we Love HIM by following His instructions and WORD.
1 John 3:24 (AMP) All who keep His commandments [who obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and] abide in Him, and He in them. [[a]They let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ.] And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He [really] lives and makes His home in us: by the [Holy] Spirit Whom He has given us.as given us.

Crowned with Oil by George Warnock
"Creation continues to cry out for "the manifestation of the sons of
God" (Rom. 8:19). And be assured, the lesser brethren of Christ are not
going to be manifested in any other way than the way their Elder Brother
was manifested. Jesus did not suddenly drop down from Heaven wrapped in
glory and manifested in the earth as the Son of God with power. Nor
will His younger brothers. Jesus was born into
our humanity, and God was manifested through Him in the weakness of His
humanity. He grew up under discipline, and learned obedience through
the things that He suffered. He carried His cross daily--not just the
one time when He carried it to Golgotha. All through His life He walked
under the shadow of the Cross. His lesser brethren will certainly be
"manifested" in the same way, for Jesus said "I am the Way". They too
must know rejection, suffering, learn obedience as He did, and become
disciples who count all things but loss, "for the excellency of the
knowledge of Christ Jesus their Lord". Only as they "suffer with Him"
will they be manifested as His sons, and "reign with Him" (Rom. 8:17).
God's first and Special Son was "manifested" in weakness, in poverty, in rejection, in suffering--long before He was manifested as the Son of God in resurrection glory. So will it be with His younger brethren: they will not be manifested as the sons of God with power and glory until they have been manifested in the earth as followers of the Lamb, and showing forth the love and mercy and virtues of their Master in the midst of weakness and mortality. How foolish to think that they are above their Master, and that one day they will just drop down from Heaven to earth as glorified "sons" to deliver creation from her bondage!" - George Warnock

Loving people vs Loving God
People say they love each other. They love their parents. They love their spouses. They love their children. They love their neighbors. But most of the majority only love them when times are good. And when times are good, it is in that moment when they do really believe they love them. However when bad times arise, many will prove it was all lip service and just an emotional love. Emotions are not a bad thing but emotions do change. We may not know why bad circumstances may happen all the time but regardless it is used to test one's genuine love for one another.
TRUE LOVE is not moved by good or bad circumstances. TRUE LOVE does not change. True Love is God. True Love is consistent. True Love obeys. True love does not seek its own self.
Loving God is not like how the world loves its own. The world loves its own only when circumstances are good and going their way. The world has already proved its love as it sells their own children to slavery or prostitution when people starve enough and will sell their children for a piece of bread/rice. Loving God is not an emotional thing. Loving God is an action defined by HIM. It is a consistent act of obedience in faith. To love God is to keep His Word.
In the bible, God defined what is to love HIM. HE did not say that it was an emotional thing. He did not say that it was defined by how loud you can say you love HIM. He did not say that it was defined by the big banners you make to say you love HIM. He said your love is proved to HIM through your obedience to HIS Word and commands. IF we truly love HIM in the biblical sense, it is to OBEY.
Through your life, you will be tested on a daily basis. Many obstacles, circumstances, and people will be presented to you during your life. We are tested in our lack and abundance. We are tested when times are good and when times are bad. Each test presents choices and those choices present more choices. The bottom line is whether we will continue to choose to follow HIS Word and commandments or not. Are we willing to die if necessary holding on to HIS WORD?
Many may think and say so. But in America, the divorce rate for Christians is now considered equal or greater than the secular unbelievers. If we cannot even prove our love to one another in this physical realm, then how are we so sure we are loving God? Isn't the test in this life? Perhaps, many of us are deluded thinking we are loving God when in fact, we are proving in life through our actions that it is actually contrary. This is not to condemn anyone who has a previous divorce or has committed any other mistakes but today many Christians are making it too easy to give up without a fight. We are no longer willing to forgive in the biblical sense.
Many of God's people say they have forgiven people but they do not want to see their faces anymore of those who have hurt them. This is NOT forgiveness. This is delusional. True forgiveness restores with love. If there is no restoration, how has there been forgiveness? True Love is ALWAYS willing and eagerly seeking to forgive with FULL restoration! True Love forgives to bless.
John 14:21 (AMP) The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
1 John 5:2 By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey His commands (orders, charges)—[when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teaching].3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).4 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.5 Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
A few years ago, God imposed a question on me. He basically said, "If you cannot overcome, you better ask yourself if you are even born of God."
Grace does not give us a license to sin and go against HIS Word. Grace does not give us the right to quit. Grace does not give us the right to give up and accept defeat. Grace gives us time to get things right with God. Grace heals us. Grace gives us the help to Overcome. Grace does allow us to learn from our mistakes conditional we are willing to obey.
1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity).19 By this we shall come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we are of the Truth, and can reassure (quiet, conciliate, and pacify) our hearts in His presence.20 Whenever our hearts in [[n]tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us. [For we are in God’s hands.] For He is above and greater than our consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him].21 And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God, 22 And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we watchfully obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [[q]habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.
May we all pray for a heart that is fully obedient to the LORD. May we pray that our hearts are HIS. May our love be HIS Love. May our hands be His hands. May our feet be His feet. May our words be HIS Words. May our thoughts be HIS thoughts. May HE INCREASE AND WE DECREASE. We must no longer exist and HE must be fully manifested in us! Therefore, when people see you, they should no longer see the old you but Jesus Crucified!! We must be new creations. We must be REBORN in HIM!!!
