"Except by prayer and fasting"

Matthew 17:21 "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

Mark 16:17 "In My name they (you) will cast out demons."

According to the Word of God, we Christians are suppose to possess the power to cast out demons in His name. But why are so many Christians possessing no power to cast demons out from among their lives, thoughts, minds and bodies? Many even fast from physical food starving themselves hoping to resolve whatever problems they may have but yet, there are no real results. The answer is simple. it is because many Christians are cohabitating and LIVING WITH DEMONS.

They have invited demons into their lives by watching too much secular TV, movies, playing violent/thriller video games, listening to secular/worldly music, and so forth. Some of you are addicted to Facebook using the gospel as an excuse to be on for hours and hours. I observe many telling others they will take a break from Facebook for a month or so and they are right back only after a few days. Many continue to spend too much time watching and keeping up with sports breaking the Lord's Day (Sunday/4th Commandment). Many continue to hold onto resentment, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Many dress like world and talk like the world.

Will fasting just from physical food deliver them from their demonic problems and issues? The demons are laughing at many Christians.

We must fast not only from physical food but from the world and the things of the world which is really Babylon/Egypt. You must fast from watching secular TV, sports, movies, playing video games, and so forth. If you fast from the world, the power of God will cast demons out from your life. You will have the power to overcome the world. God will further grant you power to cast the demons out from other people. You will be strengthened. You will be refreshed. You will have spiritual gifts flowing from you. You will edify your self and others. You will benefit the church. You will advance the Kingdom of God.

May God be above all things in our lives.

Send Fire unto the offering

Matthew 3:11 (AMP)  I indeed baptize you [a]in (with) water [b]because of repentance [that is, because of your [c]changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

In order to purify gold or silver, one must burn it with intense heat to separate the impurities.

Proverbs 25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth [the material for] a vessel for the silversmith [to work up].

Isaiah 4:3 And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem and for eternal life. 4 After the Lord has washed away the [moral] filth of the daughters of Zion [pride, vanity, haughtiness] and has purged the bloodstains of Jerusalem from the midst of it by the spirit and blast of judgment and by the spirit and BLAST OF BURNING AND SIFTING.

We must be baptized by the Holy Ghost Fire so that the Fire can help us be a Holy people bringing us into full repentance so that our lives will be an offering of righteousness.

Malachi 3:3 (AMP) He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

In the OT, when the offering was accepted, God would send the FIRE from heaven.

2 Chronicles 6:36-41 If they sin against You—for there is no man who does not sin—and You are angry with them and give them to enemies who take them captive to a land far or near;37 Yet if they repent in the land to which they have been carried captive, and turn and pray there, saying, We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have dealt wickedly;38 If they return to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity, and pray facing their land which You gave to their fathers and toward the city which You have chosen and the house which I have built for Your Name;39 Then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, their prayer and supplications, and maintain their cause; and forgive Your people, who have sinned against You. 40 Now, O my God, I beseech You, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer offered in this temple.41 So now arise, O Lord God, and come into Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength and power. Let Your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let Your saints (Your zealous ones) rejoice in good and in Your goodness.

If we repent and return to HIM with ALL our heart and soul, then He will hear us form heaven. Verse 41 is asking God to come into His resting place.

2 Chronicles 7:1-2 When Solomon had finished praying, the fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house. 2 The priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house.

This prayer was from Solomon after the temple was built. He was asking God to come and rest in His resting place. The prayers were made with an offering and God sent FIRE from heaven to acknowledge and accept filling the temple with His Glory.

Today, we are His Temple. WE are to be His Resting Place.

2 Chronicles 7:11-15 Thus Solomon finished the Lord’s house and the king’s house; all that [he] had planned to do in the Lord’s house and his own house he accomplished successfully.12 And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him: I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.13 If I shut up heaven so no rain falls, or if I command locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,14 If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place.

If we humble ourselves, pray, seek, crave and require of necessity His face turning from our wicked ways, He will hear us from heaven and forgive our sins and heal our land (verse 14). We are to repent and return to HIM with ALL our heart and soul, then when God accepts your prayers He will send FIRE down on to the sacrifice which is now you. But you must be willing to sacrifice ALL and your BEST offering. You are to sacrifice all of your life to HIM and as He sends His Fire on to you, He will rest in YOU and His Glory will fill the temple! You are now the temple in which He desires to rest. Let His Glory rise from you so that you may be the salt and light of the world. Hallelujah!

Guard your lips/tongue

Isaiah 7:5-8 " Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone and ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!6 Then flew one of the seraphim [heavenly beings] to me, having a live coal in his hand which he had taken with tongs from off the altar;7 And with it he touched my mouth and said, Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity and guilt are taken away, and your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven.8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

 If we (Christians) are called to proclaim, teach and preach the Word of God, we must first cleanse our lips. There are too many Christians using the vocabulary of the world. Many Christians use cuss words, insulting words, abusive foul languages, cursing and swear in His name not even realizing how serious it is.

Matthew 12:37 (AMP) For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

We can not preach and witness with our filthy lips. Only after Isaiah was cleansed with his lips, God then asked, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us?"

God desires us to be cleansed first before He really entrusts His ministry to us. Not only be cleansed by what we do but also by what we say. We are the representatives of King of Kings and the Lord of lords.

James 3:5-11 "Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze!6 And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna). 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea animal, can be tamed and has been tamed by human genius (nature). 8 But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.9 With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God’s likeness!10 Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.11 Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?

Let us tame our lips, for we may be cursing our own selves and our lives. Always speak blessings. Always speak blessings to others for if they do not deserve, it will be returned to you.

Matthew 10:12-13 "When you enter the home, give it your blessing. 13 If it turns out to be a worthy home, let your blessing stand; if it is not, take back the blessing."

Proverbs 13:3 (AMP) He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Spirit, soul, and body

When people first come looking for Christ, they come for many reasons. Many come for reasons of the heart while many come for reasons of the body. When I say body, I mean not only the necessity and requirements of the physical body but from the dependency of the world. Since their dependency from the world had been a failure, they seek a higher order or answer. God will use many avenues to bring His creation back into HIM. 

But once we find Truth and receive Jesus Christ, it is a spiritual transformation. Yes, there may be incidents in which God may heal some right away of our physical needs to help them believe but the order is and always have been spiritual first. Any positive manifestation of the physical is a result of the spiritual. 

When many first get saved, instead of seeking the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness first they begin to seek the things of their own kingdom. This is because many have yet to grow in their faith and trust in the Lord. Many come to the Lord as a result of their distress and as I said previously, God will use the worldly sorrows to bring us back unto HIM. But once we are in HIM and He is in us, we must grow in HIM so to understand the proper order of abundant life in HIM. We may come because of worldly sorrow but His Love should lead us to Godly repentance.

When people come to the Lord, what generally are our first prayers. We pray asking God for help with our finances, job, businesses, family, spouses, health, addictions, and so forth. But scripture says to seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness first and those things will be taken care of for us. 

Matthew 6:30-34 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33 But seek ([z]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([aa]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [ab]taken together will be given you besides. 34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

When we experience a genuine salvation, it is like finding a treasure in the field and then that person sells everything to buy that field.


Matthew 13:44-46 The kingdom of heaven is like [o]something precious buried in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field. 45 Again the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a dealer in search of fine and [p]precious pearls,46 Who, on finding a single pearl of great price, went and sold all he had and bought it.

When we find Jesus Christ, we should come to realize all the things we thought we needed from this world to feed our emotions and body are secondary. We are to sell all such troubles and anxieties laying it at the foot of the cross to obtain that treasure which is God HIMSELF. 

When we seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness FIRST then we are in proper order as our spirit is first fed, then our soul, and then manifested to our bodies. And as people see our bodies, our bodies should be reflecting the glory and image of Jesus Christ as it is a manifestation of the inside or spirit. 

Therefore, if our bodies are lifeless, then we better ask and examine our spirits, our walk and faith in the Lord.

James 2:26 (AMP)For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead.

When Adam fell, he had sinned with his body, then it affected his soul and spirit. The spirit of God had departed. And now through Jesus Christ, God is restoring us back but the order is spirit, soul, and body. Seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness and all those things you are so concerned about will be added on to you. Learn to trust HIM brethren by drawing deeper into HIM for His desire is for you to know HIM more. He calls us friend now.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP) And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Waiting for His Return

Acts 1:6-11(AMP)So when they were assembled, they asked Him, Lord, is this the time when You will reestablish the kingdom and restore it to Israel?7 He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know [a]what time brings [the things and events of time and their definite periods] or fixed [b]years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice and authority and personal power.8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.9 And when He had said this, even as they were looking [at Him], He was caught up, and a cloud received and carried Him away out of their sight.10 And while they were gazing intently into heaven as He went, behold, two men [dressed] in white robes suddenly stood beside them,11 Who said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into heaven? This same Jesus, Who was caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven, will return in [just] the same way in which you saw Him go into heaven.

The command of the Lord is to receive the Holy Spirit and Power becoming His witnesses in Jerusalem (your home/family), all of Judea and Samaria (your neighborhood/neighbors/friends), and to the ends of the earth (unto the nations).

As they were LOOKING at HIM, He was caught up and as they gazed INTENTLY into heaven, the angels asked why do they stand gazing into heaven? The angels said He will RETURN in the same way in which you saw HIM go to heaven.

As they LOOKED at HIM, He was caught up. And as you continue to LOOK at HIM NOW, you will see HIM return in the same way IF you LOOK AT HIM and not gazing into heaven.

Many are gazing and looking up into heaven waiting for HIS return. However, many will miss HIM as they are not LOOKING at HIM but rather into heaven. Many have taken their eyes off the Lord and are sinking like Peter. But rather than looking back at HIM, they are gazing into heaven for the rapture as they are sinking in life.

WE must look at HIM for He is our rapture. Our rescue or rapture is not an event but a PERSON. Do not gaze so much into the event otherwise you may miss HIM.

“Let us be strong in the power of the Lord”- Pastor Kim, Yong Doo

Ephesians 10-19 “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him] draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. 11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. 14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, 15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. 16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. 18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). 19 And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),

If you read John 12:31, it states that Satan is “ruler of this world”. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, Satan is expressed as the “god of this world”

John 12:31 (AMP) “Now the judgment (crisis) of this world is coming on [sentence is now being passed on this world]. Now the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world shall be cast out (expelled).”

2 Corinthians 4:4 (AMP) “For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.”

There is a structure/system within the demonic realm. Satan’s organization is composed of many different variety of fields or areas and it is countless. These enormous organizations are endlessly connected to one another. It is a thoroughly built structure. It is somewhat like how a pyramid schemes operates. There are  particular groups that plan events. It is their war department like the Pentagon. These particular groups of demons plan many events and commands. There are other groups that just reports and updates. These groups of demons create strategies, tactics and report things to satan. There are other groups that participate in the actual spiritual warfare. And then there are groups who are responsible for inciting the emotions and temperament of people. The organization is divided into what appears to be countless and endless fields of groups and positions. 

When someone is filled with the Holy Spirit, the demons will come and utilize their best strategies by sowing weeds to hinder and break them. When someone is fed God’s Word, the demons will come and plant weeds to prevent the person from being rooted into good soil. The demons will come to hinder and prevent the people who are rooted in good soil from bearing good fruits. When a person is faithful to the Lord, the devil will come and apply strategies to entice the person to quarrel with other Christians so faithful one will leave the church. As people come to apprehend the Word of God, the demons will come to hinder and prevent them from walking in the Word. The demons will attempt Christians from walking and applying the Word of God. When it comes to those who are good listeners to God and to those who obey His Word, the demons will come to stir them in an attempt to make them overreact to cause quarrel and strife among the brethren. It is the strategy of demons to make Christians make mistakes. If people are humble, the devil will attempt to make them become passive. However, contrary to passiveness, those who are aggressive, the devil will utilize that trait to cause more quarrel and strife. 

Satan and his soldiers will observe humans without limits to obtain ways to hinder and attack us. The demons do not roam around without purpose. The demons will generally taunt Christians in such a way. 

“Hey! Will you continue to pray even though your situation is not improving? Look at your children, they are still rebellious! Look at yourself! You are still depressed! What is the use of praying?”

There are always demons working behind our negative thoughts. Remember, God has chained Satan with utter darkness. He is pure dark and evil. 

Moreover, for example, demons like to stir up people by enticing certain thoughts into our minds such as, “Get on your computer. Watch the lustful videos and pictures. Get angry and fight! Break up, divorce, and leave your husband/wife!”

The outer appearance of Satan is very grotesque. He does not look like human nor animal. He is very dirty, eerie and wicked looking. This is the one whom we are fighting against. This is reality. We are not able to combat such a being with our feelings, emotions, or thoughts. 

There are different groups in which we spiritually fight against. In Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

“12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

The first group is principalities. The principality group is formed with countless structure/system/organizations. This group is the strongest among the other groups. This group is responsible for delivering reports to Satan on a regular basis. They are like staff officers that create tactical strategies. It is a very important group to satan. This group organizes all the plans and methods to carry out the work. This group’s power is very impressive. It is like the brains of the operation. On my 6th book, I level them as a first ranked group. They are right below satan. These are Satan’s generals. They are very keen and plan with diligence. 

The second group is the power group. They are second in rank. The countless demons in these groups are very active. These spiritual beings roam throughout space. Satan will pray a blessing over this group of demons. “Go fill the earth and destroy! Create trials of curses!!” Satan despatches this group after he prays over them. As I was preparing this sermon, a white two headed dragon demon appeared and harassed me. He was very angry. It is like how churches dispatch missionaries. The demons do it in similar fashion.

 “We need more forces for this particular region. Speedily come help us!” When their forces become weak, they will report to Satan of their situation. Then Satan will fill them up again with strength and reinforcements. Satan gives power and strength to replenish them. When they are replenished, they go back and start destroying again. It is like when we do our fire ministry, we can be replenished and recharged with more fire power from above. When we stretch out our arms upward and shout out, “Lord, grant us more powerful Holy Fire!” then the powerful Holy Fire comes down and engulfs us. 

The third group are rulers of the darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness. These groups of demons compete with one another for territories. These demons have their own operating areas. As a result, these particular demons engage and fight with Christians the most. They are in the sense the foot soldiers. However, this does not mean we do not still fight or engage with the other groups of demons. Previously, I had traveled to Corona to hold a fire revival meeting. But the evil spirits that were seizing that particular region pierced my head with (spiritually) sharp thick nails and as a result I was rolling around my bed in so much pain screaming. Even though they are spiritual beings, they can inflict physical pain. It does not matter where you are. All the regions and nations are seized by certain groups of demons. These demons have their own regions. They compete with one another to gain more territory to be rewarded by Satan. Humans are the victims of this competition. War between humans are a manifestation of the spiritual competition among demons to gain territory.

Daniel 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

When Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days, the kingdom of Persia withstood him. But at the last day of his fasting, God sent Archangel Michael to open the way and to help Daniel. The kingdom of Persia are rulers of darkness. They do the wicked works. 

Mark 5:10 (AMP) “And he kept begging Him urgently not to send them [himself and the other demons] away out of that region.” 

These demons had begged Jesus for them not to be sent away. These demons had seized that particular region. There are countless of regions that demons are seizing such as country, city, certain regions, provinces, and even within the churches. The demons will also seize countries with their customs and culture to influence the world or other nations in order to corrupt them. 

Previously,  I had visited a museum which was located in the city of On Yang, Korea. This museum has on display many old Korean traditional costumes and cultural historical artifacts. The priests that had worshipped the sea king spirit wore certain costumes or outfits during their rituals. The shamans and the Korean village guardians were also on display. They were life like figures made from wood displayed for the audience. There were so many demon spirits in the museum. I was severely attacked and afterwards I had a difficult time praying. It had broken my normal praying rhythm. 

The evil spirits dwelling and roaming in the heavenly places are the most practical workers within the demonic organization. They are the ones who will penetrate into the churches and the believers. These countless number of evil spirits are responsible for stopping the believers from worshiping God in true freedom. They are the ones who will attempt to stop the pastors from working God’s ministry effectively and will attempt to make the leadership complacent and lazy. They are responsible for stealing our joy and the willingness to serve with a grateful and sacrificial heart within the church. They are responsible for taking away the faithfulness in doing God’s work. These evil spirits are the ones that most harass the church and the body of Christ. 

What are we to do to repel such attacks? We must arm ourselves with the full armor of God! We must pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. 

Offensive and defensive weapons are at our disposal. The defensive weapons are as follow, Girding our waists with Truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoeing our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and taking the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation. The offensive weapon is the Sword of the Spirit or the Word of God! We must pray at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and entreaty. 

As some people are only devoted to studying and analysing the bible without much prayer or Spirit, the demons of cult are dispatched to destroy them. When someone in the church is very devoted to self sacrifice in doing God’s work, the demons will stir up other people within the church to become envy and jealous. Once our thoughts are seized by the evil spirits, it will be very hard for us to overcome such trap. The spiritual warfar starts with a thought. We must pray asking God, “Lord! Seize my thoughts!” Then fight continues in the mind. We must have victory in this area. When  we have evil things or unholy things in our minds, we must instantly shout out, “In the Name of Jesus! Get out Satan! We must shout out immediately to cast such bad seeds away without hesitation. Lastly, the demons will attempt to utilize our body/flesh to carry out what is in our thoughts and minds. Therefore, we must use our free will very carefully. 

When the evil spirits attack us, it is not at impulse but a well orchestrated plan. Before they attack us, they would have already grasped our personalities and activities in all things within our lives. They already know the good and bad within us which may be physical and psychological. They have already thoroughly studied us. This is why we must become skillful soldiers. 

There are patterns and flows within the demonic activities. The demons have their own name such as the spirit of lust, violence, hate, and so on. These spirits entice people starting with a thought, to the mind, and then to the flesh to carry out in action. Once a person acts upon it in the flesh, he/she has fallen deep. 

We must disclose the activities of the evil spirits. The reason why we must disclose the activities and function of the evil spirits is because many Christians are ignorant in regards to them. Moreover, many Christians are seized by the demons and ignorant to that reality. As a result, the Kingdom of God is hindered by these evil spirits as many Christians do not know the identity and function of evil spirits. 

Demons have different activities. For example, the demons will measure our faith to a higher standard of faith than we may actually possess in order to attack us. They may put such a thought as, “Why does your faith not even come close to Job? You must at least have faith like him! Even after we had killed all his children taking everything from him, he did not have any resentment toward God. What kind of faith is yours?”

We must go through many spiritual experiences to strengthen our faith. We do not start out with the faith of Job. 

Isaiah 27:1 “In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.”

Scripture referred Satan as Leviathan. This twisting nature make people misunderstand each other by distorting and confusing many things. Snakes do not move straight but move in a zig zag motion. The demons will twist things within the churches and families. They will utilize the personality and character of a person for their gain. It is difficult for demons to use people who make choices to live holy lives. Such people will gain understanding of the spiritual realm and thus the demons will move on to other people. 

If one is depressed, one should not continue acknowledging their situation or status by saying they are depressed. They must instead proclaim that they are not depressed! However, if one continues to say that they have depression and that it is hard and lonely, then they will have attracted many more such demons. Such a person will be filled with depressed demons and the demons will utilize such illness for their advantage. 

When a person faithfully follows Jesus, the demons will attack in such a way. “You are no different than any other people. Since you are human and weak, you will fall and become corrupted!” They will attack anyone hoping someone will fall. 

We must have the assurance of our salvation but at the same time we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling. So many people are losing the battle with themselves, with their surrounding and circumstances. The demons accurately use our personality, character, preferences, emotions, and human nature to defeat us. 

I pray that you will have victory and overcome with the full armor of God and with all prayer and entreaty. Have victory and overcome bad seeds of thought, mind and body/flesh!! Hallelujah!!

Those who are leading God's people should be weeping between the porch and altar!

Acts 5:42 (AMP) Yet [in spite of the threats] they never ceased for a single day, both in the temple area and at home, to teach and to proclaim the good news (Gospel) of Jesus [as] the Christ (the Messiah).

You see, if we are to be the church as in the days of Acts, then we need to get off this mentality that church should be only Sunday and mid week whether that be at the temple (church) or in our homes.

Acts 6:4 (AMP) But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word.

Sadly, many of His people including the shepherds and other servants of God devote themselves to sports, drama, soaps, American idol, Hollywood, video games, TV, money, and other WORLDLY nonsense. We are in this world but not of it. And we are wondering why the POWER OF GOD is NOT manifesting in our churches or in our lives? Why is there no urgency or priority to pray?

1 Peter 4:17 (AMP)For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?

Be wise brethren, judgment is not only coming but it has already began in the household of God.

Ez 34:2-4 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, even to the [spiritual] shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the [spiritual] shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the sheep?3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you kill the fatlings, but you do not feed the sheep.4 The diseased and weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the hurt and crippled you have not bandaged, those gone astray you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought to find, but with force and hardhearted harshness you have ruled them. 5 And they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild beasts of the field.6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains and upon every high hill; yes, My sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth and no one searched or sought for them.7 Therefore, you [spiritual] shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:8 As I live, says the Lord God, surely because My sheep became a prey, and My sheep became food for every beast of the field because there was no shepherd—neither did My shepherds search for My sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves and fed not My sheep—9 Therefore, O you [spiritual] shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:10 Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My sheep at their hand and cause them to cease feeding the sheep, neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more. I will rescue My sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.

Joel 2:17 (AMP)  Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity and spare Your people, O Lord, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the [heathen] nations should rule over them or use a byword against them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?

Where are those who are pouring their hearts out for God's sheep? I do not mean people who can shout the loudest of how much they love God. Where are those who are willing to pray for hours? Where are those who will grieve, weep, and fast for God's sheep or even their families? Unless the servants of God are willing to lay down their lives for God's people, how will they qualify to enter the Kingdom of God?

Men may know each other because they have successful church programs or large attendance but what is it worth if they cannot overcome the gates of Hell and as their people are still in bondage sick and dying like the world?

Let us stop looking for the praises of men and their approval. Those who have been called to lead God's people are to be bearing the Ark of the Covenant and the people are to follow the Ark of the Covenant. They are not necessarily following the priest or leaders. We are to be loyal to God and not men but yet be subject to the authorities that He has placed over us that are within His Will. The priest bears the Ark of the Covenant over their shoulders bearing God's Glory. The people were not necessarily following the priests but God's Glory. The priests were the first to step into the Jordon but they were last to leave as the people all passed by hastily. If the priests made a mistake the waters would have rushed back endangering the people and killing the priests.

Whether one thinks they are an apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, or preacher, those in such offices must be willing to go first, lay down their lives, and be last as God's people are led into the promise land. Going first means to be the ones who will pray weeping between the porch and altar even daily for God's people even if no one else is doing it. It means to lay down your life that all your personal ambitions and plans are put down and God's Will is your priority. No longer my will but YOURS. The priests were last to cross over. Those who are leading God's people must stop looking for the attention or the praises of men. In fact, they must die more to themselves so that more can come into the light and see His Glory.

Joel 2:15-18  Blow the trumpet in Zion; set apart a fast [a day of restraint and humility]; call a solemn assembly.16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation; assemble the elderly people, gather the children and the nursing infants; let the bridegroom [who is legally exempt from attending] go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her closet. [None is exempt from the humiliation.]17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity and spare Your people, O Lord, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the [heathen] nations should rule over them or use a byword against them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God? 18 Then was the Lord jealous for His land and had pity on His people.

Much of the western church has romanticized and glamorized those in the five fold ministry. Many of those who have been called do not realize they will be made spectacles and perhaps the majority of them called to martyrdom.

1 Corinthians 4:9 (AMP) For it seems to me that God has made an exhibit of us apostles, exposing us to view last [of all, like men in a triumphal procession who are] sentenced to death [and displayed at the end of the line]. For we have become a spectacle to the world [a show in the world’s amphitheater] with both men and angels [as spectators].

It is time to stop looking for attention stealing God's Glory but rather humbling ourselves weeping for God's people in prayer. It is time to go back to the days of Acts when they did NOT cease to teach and proclaim DAILY in the temple areas and their homes devoting themselves to prayer and word.
