Many Christians pray and expect to hear from God in their spirits, somehow audibly, or from another spiritual Christian. But God speaks volume in another way. Be sensitive to His Spirit by also being sensitive to your physical circumstances. He will answer or speak to you through your circumstances. If you get resistance in one direction, it may not be the enemy but God trying to get you in another direction. But then again, it may be God thickening your skin. You must ask for discernment.
He does answer our prayers through our physical circumstances. Sometimes, you have to flow with your circumstances knowing He is in Full control.
Let us be sensitive to our surroundings and physical circumstances. He is in our circumstances attempting to speak to us through events or situations. We must learn to hear Him in our circumstances knowing His ways and how He works if we are to obey correctly. Otherwise, we may learn the long and hard way and it will take us much longer to get to where God desires in us.
May your steps be ordered by the Holy Spirits brethren. Always give thanks no matter how the situation appears to be.
Psalm 119:133 Establish my steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Proverbs 20:24 Man's steps are ordered by the Lord. How then can a man understand his way?
Proverbs 28:14 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].
