Jacob was NOT a supplanter nor deceiver, he was humble and lowly.

"I am the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob." God refers HIMSELF as the God of Jacob. If Jacob really meant supplanter or deceiver, then why would God refer HIMSELF as the God of such a person? Many mainstream Christians erroneous teach that the name of Jacob is such. When we see the story of Jacob through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, we see Jacob as one who was quiet, jealous for the things of God, humble, and lowly.

Genesis 25:24-26 When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. 25 The first came out red all over like a hairy garment, and they named him Esau [hairy].
26 Afterward his brother came forth, and his hand grasped Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob [supplanter]. Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them.

The name Jacob is given because in the womb, he had grasped his brother's heel. In the amplified, we see the modern day scribes translating the name Jacob as "supplanter." But the true definition of Jacob is referring to the heel. What and why the heel? Many Christians view the grasp of Esau's heel as one who supplants. The heel represents the low part of the human body. It represents the bottom. The heel represented humility and lowliness. Jacob was grasping humility even in the midst of the struggle within the womb. In order to defeat Satan, we defeat and overcome through humility.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you. them.

We will not crush Satan with our minds nor our own strength. But by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we will crush Satan under our feet. The "under our feet" is the heel. Only through our humility will we crush Satan.

Esau grew up to be a skillful hunter. He would go out most of his day and hunt or do other activities. Jacob, on the other hand, was a quiet and plain person who spent most of his time in the tent. The tent represents the house of God. Jacob spent most of his time with his father, Issac, learning the things of God. Jacob had spent most of his time growing up in tents. He spent most of his time with God.

Genesis 25:27 When the boys grew up, Esau was a cunning and skilled hunter, a man of the outdoors; but Jacob was a plain and quiet man, dwelling in tents.

Esau was a prideful man as he had become a skillful hunter. He spent most of his time outside the tent. He had spent most of his time with the world. Spending his time outside the tent hunting represented his abundant time in worldly things. Then one day, he had come home famished and as Esau stated, "to the point of death."

Genesis 25:32-34 Esau said, See here, I am at the point of death; what good can this birthright do me? 33 Jacob said, Swear to me today [that you are selling it to me]; and he swore to [Jacob] and sold him his birthright.34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils, and he ate and drank and rose up and went his way. Thus Esau scorned his birthright as beneath his notice.

In verse 34, Esau had scroned his birthright. He had no respect for his position as first born nor did he care for the duties of being Godly. Something in the fields had occured and he was afraid and thought he was near death. Since he thought he was in trouble, his birthright had no value to him. Jacob who was jealous for the things of God and he saw his brother's disrespect his birthright. How did Jacob trick Easu into selling his birthright for a bowl of soup? No, Esau disrespectfully gave it away at a cheap price. Jacob had done nothing to deceive or trick his brother. Jacob was honoring God by sustaining the birthright since Esau had contempt for it.

When Issac was old and dim, he called for Esau to bless him. But his wife, Rebekah, had called Jacob to disguise himself as Esau. In fact, in verse 12 of Genesis chapter 28, Jacob was actually resisting Rebekah. The whole idea of deceiving, Issac, his father was not even Jacob's idea. This was all his mother's idea. Why did Rebekah move to have Jacob receive the first heir's blessing? In fact, when Jacob obeyed his mother, he now had to lie to his father. But was this really lying? How can the God of Jacob be represented by a liar? If he was lying and if he had stolen the blessing that was contrary to God's will, then why was God blessing Jacob throughout his journey? Where is his repentance in the bible? When King David was rebuked by the prophet Nathan, he immediately repented. But we do not see it written anywhere in the bible in which Jacob had to repent. In fact, he was blessed and his uncle, Laben, was blessed because of Jacob.

Genesis 27:18-19 So he went to his father and said, My father. And he said, Here am I; who are you, my son?19 And Jacob said to his father, I am Esau your firstborn; I have done what you told me to do. Now sit up and eat of my game, so that you may proceed to bless me.

This blog was our Sunday sermon for Dec 28, 2014, and on the drive to church, I was asking God about Jacob's answer to his father, Issac. Jacob had said, "I am Esau your firstborn." I was asking the Holy Spirit, was Jacob lying. Instantly, this fell into my spirit. Jacob was answering in the spirit. He is answering as the firstborn and the heir since Esau had reliquinished it. He is answering in such a way because God had spoken it even before he was born. This was all God's will.

Genesis 25:22-24 [Two] children struggled together within her; and she said, If it is so [that the Lord has heard our prayer], why am I like this? And she went to inquire of the Lord.23 The Lord said to her, [The founders of] two nations are in your womb, and the separation of two peoples has begun in your body; the one people shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger. 24 When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

Rebekah already knew the birthright belonged to Jacob. God had prophesy the older shall serve the younger even before they were born. God had already told Rebekah who would be the heir and who would be blessed. Moreover, she observed the two boys as they grew up and she saw that Esau had contempt for his birthright. Rebekah observed Jacob, the younger twin, grow quietly, humbly, and spending a lot of time with God in the tents. Esau and Jacob were twins. But since Esau came out first, he was considered the older but spiritually, the birthright and heir belonged to Jacob even before birth. They were twins but since Jacob already possessed a spirit of humility, he had took the second position and was born after Esau grasping his heel. There was already a struggle in the womb even before birth (verse 22). But Jacob took the lowly position and was born second.

It is Esau who speaks falsely of Jacob since he is no longer able to receive the first blessing. Esau was speaking in the flesh. Issac was also upset. Jacob never took his birthright. Esau had sold it to him voluntarily. Jacob is not a trickster. Jacob is actually very wise and clever.  Just because Esau is speaking in the flesh, many modern day scribes are definiting Jacob's name based on what Esau is saying in anger.

Genesis 27:35-36 [Isaac] said, Your brother came with crafty cunning and treacherous deceit and has taken your blessing.36 [Esau] replied, Is he not rightly named Jacob [the supplanter]? For he has supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright, and now he has taken away my blessing! Have you not still a blessing reserved for me?

When Jacob reached his uncle Laban, it was his uncle who deceives Jacob, is it not? Jacob agrees to work for seven years for the hand of Rachel but at wedding time, Laban weds his older daughter Leah to Jacob. Now, Jacob is forced to work another seven years for the hand of Rachel. In fact, Jacob works a total of 20 years for Laban. During the twenty years, Jacob states that it is Laban who has cheated him ten times over his wages. In fact, Jacob stated, when Laban's flock were injured or killed, it was Jacob who took the loss. Does this sound like Jacob the deceiver? What about the spot and streaked flock that Jacob takes?

Genesis 31:7-12 But your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.8 If he said, The speckled shall be your wages, then all the flock bore speckled; and if he said, The streaked shall be your hire, then all the flock bore streaked. 9 Thus God has taken away the flocks of your father and given them to me.10 And I had a [a]dream at the time the flock conceived. I looked up and saw that the rams which mated with the she-goats were streaked, speckled, and spotted.11 And the Angel of God said to me in the dream, Jacob. And I said, Here am I. 12 And He said, Look up and see, all the rams which mate with the flock are streaked, speckled, and mottled; for I have seen all that Laban does to you.

We see that God is protecting Jacob as Laban is the one who is the trickster and supplanter. In fact, Jacob is the one blessed by God. Jacob is not the one who can supernaturally turn the rams, goats, and other flocks to be spotted or streaked. This was a supernatural occurance in which God was with Jacob. As we see in verse 12, God tells Jacob of all that Laban had done to him. Jacob was a humbled man. He was tricked by Laban but he faithfully, quietly, and humbly worked for him for 20 years taking any loss for himself and not complaining.

Jacob lived a life dedicated to God. He was one who lived faithfully, quietly, humbly, and in lowliness. He took the loss when he tended Laban's sheep. He worked another seven years to marry Rachel. He did not argue or resist. He took the loss and worked the extra seven years. At the end, God vindicated him and blessed Jacob abundantly with wealth and children. This is why God refers HIMSELF as the God of Jacob.

Why did Satan tempt Eve first rather than Adam?

Why did Satan go to eve first? Why did he not go to Adam first?

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.

The role of a wife or mother is such an important role and much of the Christian world do not realize how so important the role it is in the body of Christ. The role and choices of the wife may determine life or death for a family and ministry. Many Christian misinterpret the bible and think the wives should sit in the back of the pews and be silent. Many pastors assign their wives to sit in the back and be silent. Yes, perhaps, for unruly, untamed, and unbroken women such as were the many Corinthinans but God wants the women to know their identity in Christ Jesus as servants and daughters of the Most High. Whether men or women, both needs to be broken by God so they may be used properly for HIS Kingdom and Glory.

The woman was taken out from the man. God created Eve from Adam's rib. When a man leaves home, the husband and wife become one. Eve was taken from inside the man. Both are one. Yes, our personalities and characteristics are different because Eve represents the inside while the Adam represents the outside. Both are one. Eve is from the inside. She needs Adam's covering as he represents the outside. Without the covering, she cannot function properly. The covering represents authority. The covering can represent protection and such. Eve is from the inside. She can represent what is going on inside. We do not see the important role of our organs and such. We cannot see what is occuring inside our bodies. Since we do not see it, we do not realize the importance. But without what is occuring inside our bodies, we cannot function.

The traditional physical role of a women or wife is to take care of the household. She is one who prepares the food. She is the one who goes out to buy, inspecting the produce, meats, and goods to bring home and to feed her family. She prepares the food for her husband and family to eat. She must be the spiritual Proverbs 31 wife. A Proverbs 31 wife is made. She does not just become. She is made in the refining fires of God's Will. We all understand the physical role, now we must understand the spiritual role.

Proverbs 31:14-16 AMP She is like the merchant ships loaded with foodstuffs; she brings her household’s food from a far [country].15 She rises while it is yet night and gets [spiritual] food for her household and assigns her maids their tasks. 16 She considers a [new] field before she buys or accepts it [expanding prudently and not courting neglect of her present duties by assuming other duties]; with her savings [of time and strength] she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard.

One morning as my children left for school, I began my morning prayer. When my wife had return home from dropping off the kids to school, she decided to take a nap. As she was going back to sleep and as the music was loud and as she heard me pray, she saw a vision. In her vision, as she heard me pray in the spirit (tongue) she saw me eating. The revelation God taught us was that as I prayed, I was spiritually eating. As a pastor, for me to be spiritual healthy, able to discern, able to preach with the anointing, I must stay in prayer and in HIS Presence eating so that I may be strengthen and ready to serve. I must always be praying.

We see the role of the wife in Proverbs 31. In the physical sense, the job of the wife is to prepare the househould and food for the husband and children. The traditional job of the husband is to go work and make money. If the wife did not do her job, then the husband and kids would come home to a dirty house with nothing to eat. Because the role of the husband is different, he does not have the time to go buy produce and meat to take the time to cook. If he comes home to where there is no meal prepared, then there will be some problems and he will have to look elsewhere to be fed. Now, mind you, this is the traditional role and in our modern sense the roles may have changed and we may have many restaurants and fast foods but our modern century does not justify our need to fulfuill our spiritual roles.

If my wife saw in her vision of me spiritual eating during my prayer, then there must be spiritual food prepared for me to eat. How is spiritual food prepared? When the wives are doing their part praying each day whether you get up early in the morning or pray during the evenings, you are spiritual preparing spiritual food for your husbands to eat when they begin to pray. The wives are the ones feeding their husbands whether spiritually or physically.  The wife is the helper. She is the preparer. She is suppose to be the advisor. She represent the wise men. She can be our counselors. She can be our influencers. Adam is the one in authority and makes the final decisions. But Kings and Presidents have counselors, wise men, advisors, and so forth who influence and feeds information so that the king or presidents can make their final decisions. The wives are our navigators as the husbands are the drivers. In the physical, women can be the most worst when it comes to directions and reading maps but when properly broken and spiritually trained, they are to be our navigators looking at the map of the Holy Spirit to advise us when to turn and give us directions/counsel. The pilot and navigator need each other. One cannot function without the other.

Many churches are filled with women. Why are there so many women and not the men? In order to bring proper order, God must use proper order to restore the families, ministries, and churches. It was Eve who sinned first and Eve must now bear the pain of child bearing to bring forth the life of Christ into their families. The wives are generally called first to persevere, endure and suffer through prayer and breaking to bring life into her family. Wives, please do not blame, resent, or get angry at your husbands for being stagnant, religious, cheating, or unbelieving. Yes, I know you want them to believe properly and have your household serve God, but in reality, God is waiting for the wives. It is not about whose fault it is. It is not the fault of husbands or wives. We do not need to discern whose fault but we need to properly sacrifice our lives fulfill our roles so that God may bring back order into our families and churches. God is waiting for the wives to die to themselves, praying as they prepare spiritual food and the spiritual household for that appointed time when HE will touch your husbands' hearts. The wives must prepare the way for the husbands calling. Just as Jesus required John the Baptist to prepare the way for HIS coming, the church must prepare the way for HIS return as it is reflected in the wives to prepare the way for their husband's work in God. Wives, if you just sit at home and complain about your husbands, then God will require you to answer to HIM for such waste of time. You can choose to be a wife that brings forth the Child or brings for death through gossip and slander.

Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop [on the flat oriental roof, exposed to all kinds of weather] than in a house shared with a nagging, quarrelsome, and faultfinding woman.

God will use the trails and tests in which the women may be going through with their husbands or families to break the wives. But the wives must become the Proverbs 31 wife as they are made through prayer, crushing, and breaking. From ashes to beauty, may the fragrance of the Lord come forth from the wives to bring the scent of Jesus Christ into our families. How long must the wives wait? This can depend on the soil condition or the heart of the wives. If the ground is extremely hard, then a greater impact or trail may come to break the ground. The ground must be plowed, tilled and ready for planting and then the rain. We must allow God to break us so our hearts may be plowed, tilled and broken so that when the Word of God is spoken, it is planted. But the soil conditions must be furtile and soft so when the RAIN (Holy Spirit) comes to shower, HIS Spirit will soak into the soil of our hearts. Each process has stages, seasons, and require time. We must learn to pray, allowing God to break us and persevere and endure the time for HIS personal coming for our lives, families, and churches.

The role of a wife is to feed the husband whether physically or spiritually as she prays. We have discussed the wife physically preparing food to physically feed and we have discussed the wife needing to pray to spiritually prepare spiritual food as the husband can spiritually eat as he prays. If your husband is a pastor, then he will have a difficult time preaching in the anointing and operating in the anointing if there are no spiritual food prepared for the week. Yes, he may be able to preach a good message of knowledge, but revelation and wisdom will lack as the anointing will lack. In any church services, without the anointing of the Holy Spirit/His Presence, it is but dry and physically strenuous. If one does not eat physically, one can become tired and this can affect the performace. Spiritually, this is the same. We must be in prayer whether we are the ones preparing or eating. The congregation are the spiritual children as the pastors are the spiritual father/mother. The role of the pastor's wives are the spiritual mothers to continue to prepare spiritual food for the spiritual father and spiritual children and as they pray, they are spiritually fed.

Although we live in the physical we must live spiritually and we must discern spiritually. As Christians we are to operate and live in the Spirit. Our physical actions all have spiritual consequences. In the middle realm between physical and spiritual, the wives will continue to feed their husbands. The bible says our words will bring forth life or death. In most cases, the women are the ones who speak a lot. The men generally can stay quiet. In a marriage, the women are the influencers of the husband. During the days, weeks, months, the wives are feeding good or bad food to their husbands. Through her words, the husband is getting fed. The words are spoken physically but it is being digested spiritually as he hears with his ears. If the wife constantly speaks negative things or is a bad advisors, within time, such words will have sunk into the soil of her husband which influences his decisions. There are many husbands who are collateral causalties. There has been no spiritual food for them to eat even though they wanted to spiritually go to work. Husbands, do not be harsh your wives. You must treat them with gentleness and love them as Christ loves the Church. But if the wife has been properly broken and trained, then her physical words will edify and bring forth life as the husband makes the proper decisions and choices. Proper order and authority will be restored.

Proverbs 31:10-13 AMP A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman—who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.11 The heart of her husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.12 She comforts, encourages, and does him only good as long as there is life within her.13 She seeks out wool and flax and works with willing hands [to develop it].

On the third day, on HIS Day, the Lord's Day, the spiritual day of the 4th commandment, the two Mary's went to the tomb of our Lord. The women were sent ahead of the men. They were the ones to bring back the message of HIS resurrection to the apostles. They had fed the apostles the spiritual food that the Messiah had RISEN! The assignment was given to the Mary's by God through the angel to tell the disciples and apostles that HE has RISEN! We hear from our churches our that God is a God of order and they think it has to do with a program or following a bulletin. NO, we must know the spiritual order of God to bring HIS Kingdom unto us.

Malachi 4:5-6 EXP “But I will send you Elijah the prophet before that great and terrifying day of the ·Lord’s judging [L Lord]. 6 Elijah will ·help parents love [turn the hearts of fathers/parents to] their children and ·children love [turn children to] their parents. Otherwise, I will come and ·put a curse on the land [strike the land with a curse/destruction].”

The spirit of Elijah is on many women and wives. Many husbands have the calling of ministry for God but the wives are being called to prepare the way. The wives may be waiting for the husbands to get right with God but HE is waiting for the wives to get on their knees, pray, be broken, be cleansed to prepare the way for the calling of their family. Once she chooses this proper role, God can bring proper order and then the fathers will have enough spiritual food to eat and become spiritually healthy to be restored to their children and the children to their parents. The spiritual fathers (pastors and other of God's servants) will operate in the Presence of the Holy Spirit as there will be much food to eat. The love of a wife and/or mother who had spend countless hours cooking with all her heart in love would now be serving a meal made in the fire furnces of God to bring the family back together.

Satan knew how to get to Adam and his family (generations), he needed to get to Eve since she is the one to feed them. She was the influencer or counslor to the one in authority who was Adam. Eve is not only the one to physically prepare and feed but also who spiritually prepare and feed. Satan brought poison and as scripture said, it was Eve who gave to her husband and he ate. It was Eve's function and role and in knowing spiritual authority and our roles, Satan went to Eve.

Now, God is calling on the wives and women to pray, be cleansed, be broken and assume the proper role to be your husband's helper. Yes, you will have to wait for your difficult husbands. You will share in God's suffering as God uses your husbands to bring the chiseling of your life. God does not want you to leave them nor divorce them. HE wants you to wait for them as HE as waited for you. Much of Eve's own difficulties from their husbands is because she was the one who fed him the poison. It is her own reaping. But there is Grace and Mercy now. God is calling on the daughters of the Most High to know your identity in Christ Jesus. HE is calling for prayer warriors and worship warriors. Arise and let the Glory of God rise from you. But you must be willing to sacrifice your time, your own desires and wants, and be fully surrendered to HIM. It is not your fault. It is not your husband's fault. But God will use your spouses to bring you to brokenness then HE will answer your prayers. Wives and mothers, it is time to get on your knees, repent, and pray without ceassing. May you come to the fullness of our KING and may you be filled with HIS love and Peace. May HE bring restoration to your families as HE prepares us for HIS Return.

You may still be a fetus Christian

Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. 14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.

Many Christians do not understand salvation. We have been misled and taught in error as many are living in defeat and confusion. Many false prophets are preaching rapture and end times rather than preaching the core message of Jesus Christ crucified. Is the rapture message a bad thing? No, it is not at bad thing but how can many receive what the rapture message is when they have yet to become mature Christians ready for the wedding when many are still babies, either premature or born defectively.

The Spirit is our guarantee of our inheritance. As the amplified expands and defines as our firstfruits, the pledge, or down payment. For example, Mary was initially pledged to be Joseph's wife but she was not yet. The pledge is a promise to marry her but until it is completed, it is still to be. However, Mary, still a virgin, became pregnant through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit had placed a seed. This seed was the promise of deliverance for God's people. The seed represented the pledge, the seed was and is the Word God, the promise, the freedom, the Son of God, the Messiah, and etc. But the seed must come to completion and fulfill the call or promise. It must come to growth and produce the fruit it was intended.

The Word of God is the same. The Word of God is the Seed. We who hear the Word and receive, we receive the Seed which is to be planted in our hearts. Our hearts are the land or soil. Depending on our soil condition will depend on the growth of the Word of God whether it will become fruitful or bear thorns. Is our hearts the sideroad, shallow ground, thorns or good soil. When the Seed is in our hearts, yes, we are first saved but our salvation must come to completion.

When a mother becomes pregnant or a child is conceived, we have life. It is just the beginning. The seed from the father is planted into the egg of the mother. When the sperm is in the egg, we have life. The sperm is the seed of the father. Even though the father and mother may not be able to see the child grow in the stomach, they by faith know life is in her belly. By faith, the parents begin to prepare the child's room, buy clothes, food, toys, etc. The mother must eat properly. The mother must not do any strainous activity. There is a gestation period. The gestation period is the time between being conceived to birth. It is a development period. Without the proper development period, the baby can be born premature, defective, deformed, underdeveloped, with many other complications.

When the Word of God is planted in the hearts of men, true life is to begin. But just because one got saved does not mean one is ready to be the Bride of Christ. One may still be a fetus who needs to just be fed the milk of a mother through the umbilical cord and grow. When one is saved, one must begin to feed on the Word of God. One must begin to pray to start growing. One must begin to worship to stay in the Presence of God. One must grow to develop the spiritual arms, legs, head, brain, ears, and eyes. One must grow to learn the Voice of her/his Father God.

When Jesus had come to the earth, HIS people consisted of Pharisees, Sadduccees, blind, deaf, cripped, harlots, tax collectors, thieves, liars, handicap, leopards, and etc. This was the nation of Israel. Today is no different. Today, His people consists of spiritually blind people, spiritually deaf, spiritual Pharisees, Sadduccess, harlots, spiritual adulters, spiritual thieves, prideful, liars, etc. Yet, HE had come for such people to set them free.

Today, many Christians become saved and they are told and assume the role of a Bride when in fact they may be spiritual babies, handicap, blind, spiritual deaf, and so on Christians. But they are being told to prepare for the wedding when in fact they are on diapers. How can little children, babies, or those still in the fetus be told to get married. Physical babies do not have the physical capacity to get married. Nor do spiritual babies have the spiritual capacity to get married. Many such Christians are full of hurts and wounds. They have yet to learn to grow in Father's Love to be healed and to grow in HIS Grace through HIS Word, prayer, and worship. When they grow up to spiritual maturity, then Father God will hand them as the Bride to HIS Son. Beware of the false prophets who instills fear with end time messages among God's people rather than pointing them to Father's Love.

God has many types of children. However, many think they hear God's voice. Many spiritual babies, spiritually handicap Christians, spiritually blind Christians, spiritually deaf Christians, spiritually lost Christians are being led by demons. They are not being led by the Holy Spirit. Many baby Christians have grown up and many have been Christians for years but since they were not properly nurtured and fed, they are underdeveloped and handicap. Just look at your lives to those who claim they hear God. Should you not be in a better place if the Voice of God is really leading you? There could also be a mix in voices in what they hear. This is why God has placed shepards to lead HIS people. HE is looking for a Moses. HE is looking for a Joshua, Caleb, a King David type to lead HIS children to the spiritual promise land. But sadly, many shepards are but hirelings. And even more sadly, HIS people are no different than the OT saints. Today, they are just as stubborn, self centered, stiffed necked, self willed, rebellious people. Only through complete submission and humility will the Truth set you free.

Exodus 20:18-19 When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear. 19 And they said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let God speak directly to us, or we will die!”

The people of God with Moses who heard God's Voice could not stand still. They trembled in fear as they stood at a distance. They asked Moses to speak on their behalf because they were so afraid. If many Christians really heard the Voice of God, they would be trembling at HIS Awe rather than boasting of their own pride that they heard God. Today, many think hearing God's Voice is a trivial thing. If they really had met God, they would be trembling.

The deception today is very rampant and serious. There are many false preachers and prophets speaking on end times and rapture. In the OT, Pharoah and Herod killed all the babies under 2 years old. Today, the spirit of Pharaoh and spirit of Herod is still at work. Such evil spirits working through the false prophets are killing our spiritual baby Christians. They are led and taught to believe they need to prepare to be the Bride of Christ when they are yet only infants or spiritual adolescents. They are being led to confusion, anxiety, doubt, and eventually to destruction. This is why there are so many Christians living lives in defeat and confusion. They have not been properly raised and nurtured.

A new born believer must be properly discipled, fed milk, receive Father's Love, and to grow in HIS Grace. But salvation has become nothing but an assembly line and many prideful preachers only boast of the number of people they claimed they have gotten saved. All they are doing is making a double child of HELL.

Many Christians with underdeveloped faith are living in fear of end time events. Their eyes are on end times. Their ears are being led by deception by false prophets. If they have been properly raised and nurtured to receive Father's Love, then that Perfect Love would be casting out all fear. But sadly, many Christians live in fear of the unknown.

This message is to all the Christians. It is time to slow down. It is time to stop listenting to the false prophets of end time messages. Is the end time message a bad thing? Is the rapture message bad? Of course not, but it is not time for many Christians to hear this message. It is time to be fed milk and to receive Father's Love and just to grow in HIS Arms. HE will not forsake you. But you must learn to be still.

The Lord had said that the Fire of God Church is an end time church. We are preparing and nurturing God's people for the end times. But the end time is not what we are emphasizing. We emphasize Christ Crucified. When they grow in HIS Love, they will eventually grow to be the Bride of Christ as we prepare them for HIS coming. Yes, HE is returning. But will you really be ready or will you have been deceived by all the voices out there on the internet?

Glory to HIM

Jesus had rebuked for having so little faith

Matthew 17:17-20 And Jesus answered, O you unbelieving ([warped, wayward, rebellious) and thoroughly perverse generation! How long am I to remain with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to Me.18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was cured instantly.19 Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked privately, Why could we not drive it out? 20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

We all have a measure of faith. We need faith just to believe in God and to have accepted Jesus as our Savior. But our faith must grow. How do we grow our faith? Many misunderstand and even incorrectly teach the parable of the mustard seed. Since the mustard seed is used as an example, we presume based on the size of the seed, if we have the faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move a mountain. However, Jesus rebukes little faith. In fact, little faith can almost equate to unbelieving and  can be considered a perverse generation. Why a perverse generation? Little faith will not move mountains nor the mulberry tree to the sea. Not having enough faith will bring doubt, fear, strife, and straying.

But you say the bible says that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains.

Luke 17:6 The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!

We have many translations and versions of the bible. Unless you spend the time in prayer, no one will receive the revelation to bring forth the mysteries of God's messages and Word. As baby Christians, we read the Word as it is written and from the surface. We have yet to go deep into the Word. It is like swimming. Many are learning to swim but they can only swim on the surface and cannot go deep to explore the beauty of what is beneath. When we read Luke 17:6 from the surface and physical realm, we see the word small and presume small must equate to little faith. But the revelation is not in the size nor the physical. The revelation is always spiritual.  If we are only looking at the size, then we are looking at the outside. We are looking at the physical. We are not looking at the spiritual. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said "like a grain of mustard seed."

Yes, Jesus is saying HE wants us to have faith like a mustard seed. But HE is not referring to the size. HE is referring to the characteristics of the mustard seed. Your little faith will not move mountains, nor conquer giants, nor go through storms. Many say they have faith but yet, many have yet to overcome many things.

Little faith is not enough to overcome fear, doubt, strife, and straying.

Matthew 8: 24-26 Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” 26 Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

Matthew 14:29-31 He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus. 30 But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me [from death]! 31 Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt?

Those on the boat had even a smaller faith than little. It was Peter who even had a little more faith to be asked out. He answered the Lord Jesus with his little faith but still ended in the flesh due to his little faith. Peter had doubted Jesus. The strong wind did frightened Peter but he sank because his fear brought doubt to Jesus.

Matthew 16:7 At this they began to argue with each other because they hadn’t brought any bread. 8 Jesus knew what they were saying, so he said, “You have so little faith! Why are you arguing with each other about having no bread?

Jeremiah 31:22 (NASB)  “How long will you go here and there, O faithless daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth— A woman will encompass a man.”

What is faith like a grain of mustard seed? The mustard seed can grow in any season in any condition. It can survive diseases and droughts. It is very resilient, persistent, and consistent. Birds may eat it but it is hard to digest and it will come back out in the bird dropping to fall to the ground to grow. It is considered a troublesome seed or plant to farmers. It is a like a weed. It will not die. It will not stop. It continues to come. It continues to grow. It continues to go at it. This is the FAITH Jesus wants. It continues to persevere. It continues to be resilient. It continues to be persistent. It does not want to go away. It wants to plant itself and grow. It is DETERMINED to OBEY and do the Father's Will even obedience unto death if necessary. Jesus wants us to have the faith as resilient as the mustard seed. Such resilient faith will move a mountain to the sea. Little faith will be rebuked and may even betray our Lord.

How do we grow our faith?

Matthew 17:20-21 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of [h]firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
21 But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that spring from our belief in God).

How did Jesus answer?

6 And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.

Answer:
7 Will any man of you who has a servant plowing or tending sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, Come at once and take your place at the table? 8 Will he not instead tell him, Get my supper ready and gird yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; then afterward you yourself shall eat and drink? 9 Is he grateful and does he praise the servant because he did what he was ordered to do? 10 Even so on your part, when you have done everything that was assigned and commanded you, say, We are unworthy servants [possessing no merit, for we have not gone beyond our obligation]; we have [merely] done what was our duty to do.

Jesus had answered through verses 7 to 10. What is the point of those verses? Our faith increases as we serve without expectation. We must serve our churches, our families, our work, our neighbors, our brethren, etc and work quietly and live in peace with humility. As our humility increases, our faith will increase.

God will take away what you trust or rely over HIM

1 Chron 21:14 So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel, and 70,000 people died as a result.

David was moved to take a census of his army and as a result angered God. The Lord sent the prophet, Gad, to King David to give him three choices of judgment. The first judgment was three years of famine, the second was three months of war and destruction by the enemy, and lastly, the third was three days of severe plague. What would you have chosen if you were in King David's shoes.

King David chose option number four. He humbled himself and gave up his choice to God. The Lord chose the plague and 70,000 Israelites died. King David was very remorseful as his sin had caused others to die.

Why did 70,000 Israelites pay the price of King David's sin? Why wasn't King David punished personally?

Rather than continuing to totally depend and trust on God, King David had in his heart to reply on his amry. He was relying on people and the strength of people for his future victories. He was now depending on people over God. King David was moving by sight rather than faith.

If God told us to build a church, rather than listening to HIM in faith,
we may be taking a census by determining how much money, how many people, and how capable we are before deciding to build the church. If there are only two people, would we not build the church HE has commanded us too if we only look at the number of people?

If God told us to move to another city or country to do HIS Work or to move to another church, rather than moving in faith, we may start to assess the job market, the cost of living, and the physical requirements to move to determine if we have enough money or resources for the move. Assessing the physical ability would be our census to determine if we should move rather than just moving in faith.

If God told us to go and fulfill HIS calling in our life, rather than moving in faith, if we listen to our spouses and not go or if we decide that our children's future is more important than God's command, then the word of our spouses or the importance of our children's education or future is our census.

Why did 70,000 Israelites pay the price of King David's sin? Because King David was relying on people, God took what King David was relying on. God took the people or the object of King David's trust.

If you put anything or anyone above God or if you rely on anything or anyone over God, HE will take the object or the people away from you as your punishment or discipline.

To stop the angel of Death from continuing, King David had to buy the threshing floor and offer peace and burnt offerings. In order to stop the spiritual bleeding from your sin, it will cost you something valuable and you will have to offer to God burnt and peace offerings. The burnt offering is of yourself. God requires you to dedicate your lives to HIM.
The peace offerings can be monetary or of something you need to sacrifice of yourselves. Nevertheless, it will cost you. You will have to lose or give up something.

The threshing floor is where the altar is built. The altar or church is a place in which you are to be crushed, winnowed, and broken for God. HE will take anything away from you that comes between you and God and HE will use such discipline to CRUSH and humble you.

Our God is a jealous God and HE is a consuming Fire! May you know and Fear HIM and give HIM the Glory and Praise HE deserves.

Happy Thanksgiving to our God

On this American holiday of Thanksgiving, it should be a day to reflect our gratitude to Father God and to remember what HE has done for us. Give honor to HIM. The focus is on HIM and not on the turkey. If your turkey does not turn out good, you still have much to rejoice!

We are gathering to HONOR HIM. It is not a gathering just to see family members you have not seen for a long time. We are gathering for HIM.

1 Chronicle 16:8-14

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
9 Sing to him; yes, sing his praises.
Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.
10 Exult in his holy name;
rejoice, you who worship the Lord.
11 Search for the Lord and for his strength;
continually seek him.
12 Remember the wonders he has performed,
his miracles, and the rulings he has given,
13 you children of his servant Israel,
you descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones.

We must not forget how HE has saved us and where we come from. Our salvation and the road in which we have traveled are signs, wonders, and miracles. Out of HIS mercy HE is changing many of us into HIS likeness and character. This is a miracle! May you continue to grow in HIS Grace moving from Glory to Glory as you come to the fullness of our KING.

Yes, Glory to HIM. Happy Thanksgiving to our God. This day we HONOR YOU our KING.

I have a good plan for you

Why do Christians become frustrated? Why do we become so anxious and restless? Christians become frustrated because they are always trying to change their environment, their lives, the lives of others, and they perceive their own solution that are best for themselves. If we are God's children, then HE is in full control of our lives yet it is us who are always wrestling with God.

We are anxious and restless because we think we need to be somewhere else. We think we need to be doing something else. We think someone who is in our lives need to change rather than seeing the need to be changed ourselves.

Many Christins do not perceive their own deception nor sin. God is constantly trying to cleanse us of our idols as HE Loves, disciplines, and orders our steps. But since many do not know HIS ways, we end up wrestling with HIM. We end up resisting the Holy Spirit. We must first, as HIS people, learn to know how to be still in HIM. We must learn to be still and know HE is God.

Many Christians are in situations in which they perceive it as not God's will for their lives. But if HE is in full control, then HE is in full control and we must learn to be still.

In the book of Jeremiah, HIS people were full of sin and idols as they broke HIS Sabbaths. After much warning, HE had exiled much of HIS people to Babylon. There was severe judgment on the land as HE said they would be so hungry they would even eat their own children. But yet through HIS mercy and grace, HE would still leave a remnant. But this remnant had to obey HIS Will. What was HIS Will?

Today is no different. Many of God's people are in great sin full of idols as they break the 4th commandment. But we are not sent off in physical exile. However, we may be in a spiritual exile. Even in a spiritual exile, we are still able to attend church and worship HIM. But our lives may feel as though we are stuck. Our lives may feel there should be more, especially with the things of God. But breakthrough seems difficult to reach.

God's people must learn to know how to wait for HIM. As we wait for HIM, we acknowledge and submit to HIS soverignty over our lives. It is not about our time. It is about HIS Time for HE is the King.

When HIS people were sent off to Babylon, HE had an appointed time for them to be held captive. HE said they must stay there for 70 years. But in the meantime, HE told them to settle down, get married, have a life, farm (work), and pray for the warefare of Babylon. The welfare of Babylon would determine the welffare of their own lives. If they slandered and complained about Babylon and King Nebuchadnezzar, then their own complaints would bring difficulties. Are today Christians praying for the welfare of our secular leaders and saying good things about this land or are Christains slandering through their self righteousness? King Nebuchadnezzar was their enemy but God was telling them to pray for him and his country.

Jeremiah 29:4-7 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says to all the captives he has exiled to Babylon from Jerusalem: 5 “Build homes, and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce. 6 Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have many grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away! 7 And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

Whatever situation God has for you. Whether you are experiencing an abusive unloving husband or wife, persecuting family, economic hardship, health issues, or whatever hardship, God wants you to be still instead of trying to change everyone around you. Why do we want to change everyone using God's name? In reality, it is for our own comfort as we use God's name to try to change people. You cannot change anyone. God is trying to change you through those difficult people and circumstances. Know the ways of the Lord. Know the way of the Cross. Be Still and know HE is God. HE says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

In the midst of all your storms, be still and keep your eyes on HIM which means just spend the quality time with HIM as you get in HIS Word, Pray, and Worship. Endure the time. Stop worrying about everything that is occuring around the world. In Jeremiah's time, the false prophets were those who preached peace rather than judgment and warning. Today, the false prophets are those who constantly preach about judgement and puts fear in God's people about the end of the world. They even claim to have visions of God giving them a map of the USA and how it will be destroyed. They been preaching like this since the 1980s. Yes, one day the Day of the Lord will come but HE even promised us that in the midst of destruction, HE will greatly bless HIS people. Then why should we have fear? The Day of the Lord will come on an individual basis for many of the false prophets and those that follow them. Repent and come back to your senses!

Many of us may have to go through the spiritual 70 years of exile as we wait for HIM. This may not necessary mean a physical 70 years. Our spiritual 70 years may be different for each of us. But we must first learn to be patient, build our foundation in HIM and only as we are changed, then HE will change and save those you are praying for.

Stop looking at your difficult circumstances. Stop being so impatient. Be Still and know HE is God.

At the end of the 70 years of captivity, God promised HE would answer their prayers. But during the 70 years, they had to sow in prayer, HIS Word, and worship and wait for that appointed time. Do not let your spiritual labor go in vain by giving up. Continue to persever and endure for HE is coming for YOU!

Jeremiah 29:10-14 This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

We must reach deeper intimacy

Exodus 29:42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you to speak there to you. There I will meet with the Israelites, and the Tent of Meeting shall be sanctified by My glory [the Shekinah, God’s visible presence].44 And I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar; I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me in the priest’s office.45 And I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.46 And they shall know [from personal experience] that I am the Lord their God, Who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God.

The Tent of Meeting was a temporary temple in which the Israelites would break down and put up as they moved from place to place. This temporary temple was sanctified and where the altar was located. It was a place God would dwell amoung HIS people. This word, "dwell" is translated to "settle down or shakhan", from which is derived the rabbinic word shekhinah (literally, "that which dwells"), the light on the mercy-seat which symbolized the Divine presence.

But now, we are the temple of God, we are the place God desires to settle or dwell. The Tent of Meeting was where the Lord would come to speak to Moses and HIS people. Through the work of the Cross, God is now able to speak to all of us and we are able to know HIM on a greater and personal level as we experience HIM through our relationship with HIM.

When we are first saved, He comes into our heart to dwell in us. But because of our idols, He is not able “to sit down” or “settle down”. God is not able to peacefully rest in us due to our unchanged, stubborn and idolaterous hearts. Our hearts may be full of jealousy, envy, unforgiveness, hurt, bitterness, lust, addictions, bondages, and etc.

Yes, He maybe in us but many of us are still in the betrothal stage and never coming to the consummation stage of deeper intimacy. Many are learning and reading the Word and listening to preaching and praising but as scripture says in 2 Tim 3:7, there are many who still never come to the Truth.

2 tim 3:7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth.

Many are taught and expect to marry HIM when HE comes for us but HE has come for many now. Yes, HE will come for us when HE returns but HIS presence seeks us now on a deeper level.

As we are betrothed to HIM, HE is observing us to determine if our faith is genuine and if we are committed to following and obeying HIM. Just as Esther who was prepared for one year to see the King, we must be spiritually prepared and cleansed before we are able to meet the King. We cannot enter the Holy of Holies unless we are cleansed from our idols and sins. Has the Bride prepared herself through sanctification?

Revelation 19:7 (AMP) Let us rejoice and shout for joy [exulting and triumphant]! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb [at last] has come, and His bride has prepared herself.

In the ancient traditional Jewish marriage, as a symbol of this new covenant (or contract) the bridegroom pours the bride a cup of wine. If she drinks from the cup that he has offered, she is consenting to marriage. But if she does not accept it but refuses, she is at liberty to reject the bridegroom by rejecting the cup.

This principal applies to us. We, as His bride can still end up rejecting Him with our own free will. It is our choice. It is our choice through our actions of obedience or rebellion.

Titus 1:16 AMP They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.

Even as we are alive and waiting for the Lord, we need to get to the stage as the love story of the book Song of Solomon. It is a heart aching love story between His beloved bride and her bridegroom. When we are saved, it does not just stop there. We must come to the fullness of our God. We must come to a higher level of intimatacy. When we are first saved, we are but baby Christians and need milk. We must choose to grow up as we spend time with HIM and being cleansed of our idols and sins. When we have reached such intimacy, HE will call us HIS Bride and HE will call us HIS Friend. It is when we are called Bride or Friend, you will be given the higher revelation, secrets, higher power and anointing, and the abundant blessings of physical and spiritual life. It is when you are HIS Bride and Friend, whatever you ask in HIS Name, HE will grant it to you. It is when you are HIS Bride and Friend, HIS Shekinah Glory will manifest and radiate from you.

Bride or Whore?

When Jesus had come to die for HIS people, HE had come to a nation of Jews/Israel which constituted Pharisees, Sadducee, scribes, tax collectors, harlots, fishermen, temple guards, soldiers, farmers, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, religious, leopards, those feared HIM, the sick, the healthy, rich, poor, and other typical lay believers. In a nut shell, this was the church. God's people constituted all kinds and types of believers.

In those days, the Pharisees, Sadducee, and scribes were the religious teachers, pastors, and ministers. Just as many believe today, in those days, they all thought they were saved as they had said they were the seed of Abraham. They had believed their salvation was so assured. Today is no different, all Christians basically believe their salvation is so assured.

The bible describes the Kingdom of God through many parables. The bibles describes the church constituting of wheat, tares, sheep, goats, hardened soil, rocky soil, thorny soil, and fruitful soil. The bible describes the church as the bride of Christ but yet the bible also describes the church as being a harlot.

Basically, all believers believe they are the Bride of Christ and as many are led to believe HE is personally returning for them even though many do not know HIM personally and as many are still living in SIN. All believers whether their faith is retarded or in error, they all believe they are all going to be saved. This is the same thinking as the Pharisees had as they all believed they were the seed of Abraham.

Are all the Bride of Christ? No, all are not the Bride of Christ. In fact, the Holy Spirit has taught us that many are considered whores. Many want to be the Bride of Christ but many continue to cheat and use God and thus are whores. Many are but baby Christians who complain and throw tantrums at God.

When a person becomes saved, are they automatically the Bride of Christ? When a person is physically born, are they ready to be married? No, a baby must grow to physical and mental maturity to be married off. A baby or child does not have the physical capacity to marry or consummate the marriage. A baby or child would not understand the intimacy between two lovers. A baby or child must first learn and receive the Father's love. A baby or child must grow, be fed, be nurtured, and bask in the Father's bosom as the Father prepares the child to be wed off one day.

Spiritually, this is the same concept. Baby and childish Christians cannot comprehend intimacy with Christ until they grow up in Christ which takes time, healing, cleansing, praying, worshiping and feeding of the Word. But the general Church attempts to marry off a baby Christian in which they do not have the spiritual capacity and thus many become frustrated, confused and lost. Many self proclaimed internet "prophets" put fear into the the baby Christians as each year they claim the Lord's Return through their false prophecy. The baby Christians who are not even of spiritual age go into panic mode and many of their faith are stumbled. Many baby and adolescent Christians are trying to prepare for the wedding but they are not part of the Bride as they do not have the spiritual capacity to understand spiritual intimacy. Can a physical baby or child understand physical intimacy as two mature lovers are able too?

As we read the whole bible, there is a timeline and we see God treating HIS people as one person or one body. There was a birth, youth, growing, and then at the end there will be a marriage. As the nation grew and at certain times, the child or body was given information. There was an appointed time when the law was given. There was an appointed time when Grace would come. And now there is also an appointed time for the marriage of the Lamb. God was a Father to HIS people at first. When we grow to spiritual age and maturity, HE will call us friend. When we are called friend, there is a promise in the bible that whatever we ask in HIS Name, HE will grant. This is why many Christians cannot get their higher prayers answered as they are not at the level of friendship but still on milk. If my small child ask me to buy them a vehicle to drive, will I answer such request? Of course not and a spiritual child cannot ask for higher spiritual  things for they are not able to handle it. If I bought my child a car to drive, it would be disastrous. God may not answer our prayers for our own good.

Jeremiah 3:19 “I thought to myself, ‘I would love to treat you as my own children!’ I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land— the finest possession in the world. I looked forward to your calling me ‘Father,’ and I wanted you never to turn from me.

Why are so many pastors, their wives, and other Christians in Hell? Many pastors are trying to marry off baby Christians when they need to be fed milk, nurtured, loved, healed, and prepared for the marriage. Baby Christians need to be discipled which means they need time to grow in Christ through Word, prayer, worship, be cleansed, and healed. But rather, they are fed confusion, not loved, not nurtured, and rushed to be married to Christ with idols of hurt, unforgiveness, lusts, rejection, and etc. As baby and adolescent Christians try to find intimacy with Christ, since they do not have the capacity to know intimacy because of their spiritual age, rather than coming to know Father's Love, they come to use HIM. They come demanding things. They come with tantrums. They do not come to KNOW HIM but have come to use HIM. They come with their sinful nature of selfishness, coveting, lusts, and their prayer requests cannot be answered because their motives are considered evil. As a result, rather than becoming the Bride of Christ, they have become Whores.

Romans 9:27 (AMP) And Isaiah calls out (solemnly cries aloud) over Israel: Though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, only the remnant (a small part of them) will be saved [[a]from perdition, condemnation, judgment]!

The current church is spiritual Israel. We must examine ourselves and discern what types of spirits may be lurking in our hearts. Do we have a Pharisee spirit? Do we have a leopard spirit? Do we have harlot spirit? Do we have a religious spirit? When Jesus does return and HE looks at the pool of believers, how will HE consider YOU? Will you be the remnant HE saves or will you be the tare, goat, or whore?

If you know you are a baby Christians, rather than trying to grow up so fast, learn to just feed on milk, be content and ask for a Thanksgiving heart, be nurtured and healed by the Holy Spirit, read, worship, and pray without ceasing. Do not be in so much fear of the Lord's Return and being not ready. Do not be in such a hurry to do God's work. You must first grow in HIM and come to spiritual maturity. Slow down, be still, and come to know the Father's Love first.

Have salt within yourself

2 Kings 2:19 And the men of the city said to Elisha, Behold, inhabiting of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees, but the water is bad and the locality causes miscarriage and barrenness [in all animals].20 He said, Bring me a new bowl and put salt [the symbol of God’s purifying power] in it. And they brought it to him.21 Then Elisha went to the spring of the waters and cast the salt in it and said, Thus says the Lord: I [not the salt] have healed these waters; there shall not be any more death, miscarriage or barrenness [and bereavement] because of it.22 So the waters were healed to this day, as Elisha had said.

What does the water represent? In the bible, the water can represent the Word of God. Many churches, ministries, families, or individual Christians can represent the land. Their lives can be full of spiritual miscarriages and barreness. Other translations have it as the crops are unproductive. It is a land where crops cannot grow due to the water. The water is bad and or polluted. In verse 19, the men of the city said to Elisha that the city is pleasant but the water is bad. Many Christians believe they are saved. Many western churches, ministries, families, or individuals can have the perception that their lives are pleasant. After all, they are still alive. They are able to go to church. They may have good jobs or businesses. They may have good families. Many are on Facebook thinking they are spiritually contributing. They occassionally read, pray, and worship. They have health care if they get sick. They believe they are good with the Lord. But yet, many Christians are stuck. Their spouses may be religious or their relationship may not be very intimate with each other. There are miscarriages and barrenness in the land. Even though, the lives of most Christians are relatively easy, many are but only professing the joy of the Lord. However, they are not living the joy of the Lord. Many profess to love God and one another. But many are not walking and living in HIS Love. Many speak of God's love and peace yet if you see their faces, so many Christians have tired faces. Many are spiritually tired and wornout.

Miscarriages bring sorrow and saddness. Birth of new borns bring joy and happiness. Many Christians are still going to church and many are no longer attending. Many know a lot of the Word in respect to knowledge and many know very little of the Word. But in today's religious atmosphere, the land may look pleasant. Many churches and ministries have large building and people. Many are finanically prosperous. But there are no spiritual birth of the new life. The water is bad. The water which represents the Word of God is polluted and tainted. As it is given to God's people, rather than bringing life as it was intended, it is bringing spiritual miscarriages and barreness.

What was the solution? Elisha told them to bring him a bowl of salt. What does salt represent? Salt represents the power of God. Without the Spirit in the Word, the Word will only be a letter that brings death. Those who feed God's people must be seasoned with salt and must have salt within the Word.

Colossians 4:6 (AMP) Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].

Mark 9:50 Salt is good (beneficial), but if salt has lost its saltness, how will you restore [the saltness to] it? Have salt within yourselves, and be at peace and live in harmony with one another.

Salt in us can only be achived by the power of God as we die to ourselves and apply the principal of the Cross which is self denial. As we follow the new commandment in loving one another, when we feed God's people HIS Word, we will be speaking with salt in our spirit and conduct as we are pleasant, winsome, peace, and living in harmony one another.

Luke 14:34 Salt is good [an excellent thing], but if salt has lost its strength and has become saltless (insipid, flat), how shall its saltness be restored?

Those who know God's Word in knowledge can still preach but without salt, it will be dried and dull. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit and HIS anointing, the service is but in vain. Without salt, the Word which is to bring life and revival will actually be used to kill rather than bring life. It will bring miscarriages rather than the new birth or new creation. You can be in a service where there is no joy nor life of God. The land may look pleasant but the water may be bad.

Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Without the Presence of the Holy Spirit, there is no joy. We must desire to know HIM more. We must seek HIS Face and HIS Presence rather than what HE can give us. No matter how big your storms are, we must lay down our selfish interest and desires at the foot of the cross and just desire to know HIM. Too many of us only know about HIM. We must humble ourselves and repent for going after other idols. We must repent for using HIM for going after spiritual and physical things for our own selfish glory. We must ask for a heart that only desires HIM for HE is our reward. We must be seasonsed with salt. We are called to be the salt and light of the world.

May HE grant us a pure heart so that our lives would honor HIM. May we come to the fullness of our King so that HE completely reigns in us. May we continue to die to ourselves becoming nothing so that HE may become everything in us.

What is the New Commandment to love one another?

1 John 2:6-8 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.
7 Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. 8 Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining.
What is the new commandment? The new commandment that Jesus gave us was to love one another. Yet, it is also an old commandment. Why is it old and new?
The old commandment of loving one another represents the knowledge of knowing that we need to love one another. The old commandment represents the saints having the law to know we are to love one another. Today, many Christians still hold on to the Old Commandment. They know they need to love but to do is another matter.
The New Commandment to love one another is now do it in action. HE came to show us. Before Jesus came, God's people knew they had to love one another and they more or less preached and talked about it. Now, Jesus was telling them to live, breath, and walk in it. Love came and love fulfilled the law. HE came and set the example. In verse 6, it states "those who live in God should live their lives as Jesus did."
John 14:12 (AMP) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
The New Commandment is that if we steadfastly (continuously) believe in HIM, then we will do what HE did and even greater. We will speak like HIM. We will be gentle as HIM. We will be meek as HIM. We will be able to forgive as HIM. We will be able to endure people like HIM. We will be able to pray and intercede like HIM. We will be able to die like HIM if necessary. We will be able to wash the feet of others like HIM. We will be able to love those who hate, betray, and slander us like HE loved them. We will be able to LOVE like HIM. This is the New Commandment to love one another. It is to love and follow HIM and live our lives as HE did.
Many Christians say they cannot stop sinning. This is a deception of the enemy and of religion. Jesus said if we believe in HIM, we can even do greater. HE knew no sin and if HE lives in us and we in HIM, then as the bible states, we need to come to the fullness of God in us. Then as our conscious and hearts are cleared, we will have no feelings of guilt or condemnation but rather confidence in approaching HIM and thus we can ask anything and know HE will answer us because HE knows we love HIM. HE knows we love HIM as we practice what HE commands. We live our lives as HE did.
How do we come to the fullness of God us? What is the fullness of God?
Ephesians 3:19 (AMP) [That you may really come] to know [practically, [a]through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
Many Christians are full of pride and living lives as they please. Many are dying in their sins and ending up in judgment. Many need to just start from the beginning. They need to start repenting. They need to start praying, reading, and worshiping. They need to seek HIS Face and HIS WILL for their lives. They need to live their lives as HE had.

The way out

1 Cor 10:13 Amp For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not [b]adjusted and [c]adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to [d]a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.

Here in simpler terms of NLT

1 Cor 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure

What we go through in the daily things of life is no different than what even unbelievers may go through. The trials and tribulations of life is what all of man may experience in this fallen world. Therefore, scripture says that no temptation or trial is beyond human resistance. Scripture states God will not allow the temptation beyond what we can stand or beyond our ability and strength. Therefore, life is a choice.

When temptation, trials, or tribulation comes upon our lives, our natural reaction is to run or get away from such things. After all, we think and believe this is how scripture assure us. In the amplified it states, "provide the way out (means of escape to a landing place" and the NLT version states it as "a way out." But we must finish the whole sentence and understand the CONTEXT.

If we read in proper context and by the help of the Holy Spirit, we can see that the "means of escape" or "a way out" is not actually to be taken out of the situation but  a help to go through it. The last sentence in the amplified is " that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently." The means of escape is not to taken out of the situation but a help to BEAR UP UNDER IT PATIENTLY. In the NLT version, "so that you can endure."

When tests, trials, and tribulations come upon us, God is not looking for us to run or necessarily be taken out of the situation, God is expecting us to endure, persevere, and be patient as we wait for HIM and as we die to ourselves. Scripture says the road to heaven is a road of trials and tribulations. We must learn to go through them rather than running from them.

Acts 14:22 (NLT) where they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.

What are the means of escape for a landing place? What is the way out? This is a spiritual landing place within the physical tribulation. For example, when times are very hard, God may send you a mentor to guide you through. HE may send you revelation, knowledge, or wisdom. HE may grant you spiritual gifts to find relief with HIM. As one endure and prays, HE will give you HIS strength and HIS courage to continue. We are allowed to go through such circumstances so that we die to ourselves and learn not to rely on ourselves but HIM. When we try to bear or endure with our own strength, we run out of patient, endurance, and we may feel like wanting to DIE. When you feel like you want to die and you ask God to just take you out, then know that you have been relying on your own strength and power and not HIS. When we want to just quit, give up, or die, we are relying on ourselves and not on HIM. We must discern our situations.

2 Cor 1:8 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters,[b] about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. 9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. 10 And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

In order for God to teach us to rely on HIM, HE must allow us to go through tribulation so that we may learn not to rely on ourselves. As we go through hardships, we exhaust all avenues and options of our own strength and power to learn that we must completely rely on HIM and thus putting our faith in HIM rather than the physical things of Egypt.

The means of escape or the way out is HIM. Whatever difficult situation you may be experiencing, you must stop looking at your situation but use such time to draw closer to HIM. You must spend more time with HIM. You must be willing to give up everything for HIM. You must read, pray, and worship more. You must learn to rely on HIM willing to risk everything putting your trust in HIM. The relief from your hardship or tribulation may not come overnight. It may take a long time in fact. But you must REJOICE and learn to endure. Ask for HIS joy to sustain you. And through difficulties you will learn patience and endurance, to develop character, to the hope of your salvation.

James 1:3-4 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Romans 5:3 Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. 4 And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of [c]character (approved faith and [d]tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] [e]joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.

Do not participate in halloween

Why would we let our children be dressed as witches, demons, and other assorted monsters? Why do many people decorate their house like a graveyard, putting skulls and bones?
If you are celebrating halloween, you are worshiping the enemy of this world, Satan. It is a day that generally glorifies the dark things of this world.
Instead of celebrating the halloween, christians should be praying, praising and worshiping the Lord. Our God is the God of the living and not the dead.
Philippians 4:8—think about pure, lovely, noble things
James 1:27—“keep oneself from being polluted by the world”
3 John 1:11—“do not imitate what is evil”
Romans 12:9—“abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good"
Deuteronomy 18:9-14—do not learn to imitate detestable ways, including spiritists, sorcerers and witchcraft
Ephesians 5:11-12—“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness” / “live as children of light”
1 Timothy 4:1—don’t ”follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons”
2 Corinthians 6:14-17—“what fellowship can light have with darkness?”
1 Corinthians 11:1—“follow the example of Christ”
"The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living." Romans 13:12

Rules and Principles of Christian living and warfare

"Let us constantly bear in mind the rules and principles of Christian warfare; namely, that we conquer by yielding, we receive by giving, we overcome by being defeated, and we live by dying. There is no other way except the way of the Cross. The Cross of Christ stands out on the horizons of time and eternity, not only as the means of pardon from sin and the gateway to Eternal Life--but as the one and only principle of Christian conduct. "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." (Matt. 16:24,25). - George
Warnock,

We must understand the rules and principles of Christian warfare and living. The conduct of a Christian is to continuously deny oneself. But today's Christians are too much alive in the flesh. We want to blame everyone else. We want to find the easy wide road even though we professing to be walking on the narrow road. We carass worldly idols but yet we deny we have idols. Just as in the old days, many are in sin and many are dying in their sins as judgment and curses are upon them. We must humble ourselves and be awaken to what is really around us.

Jesus said, "Come follow ME." How many of us are really following HIM? How many are really believing in HIM? How many really have genuine faith? There are too many fake Christians. It is time to return to our First Love. How do you know you are not a fake and just a professing Christian? God will one day ask you, where is your fruit? Your time on Facebook does not define your fruit nor does it make up the guilt of not spending enough time with HIM.

HE will say to many Christians, "I do NOT know you! Away from ME you evil doers! Law breakers!"
